- In today’s spoiler-free review, thanks to my local cinema I got a chance to see, IF before its official release.
IF is a live-action/animated fantasy comedy film written, produced, and directed by John Krasinski. The film features an ensemble castthat includes Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, Krasinski, Fiona Shaw, Alan Kim, and Liza Colón-Zayas, along with the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., and Steve Carell. Its plot follows a young girl and her neighbor who find themselves able to see imaginary friends.

great review fam! This movie hit me in the feels. I kind of thought that post credit scene was cute.
Thank you for watching bro! I really appreciate it. I like that you like the post credit scene and you are right it is cute but when they put all the effort in the entire movie to find a home for the imaginary friends the post credit seemed too easy.
I really liked this film too, it was a lot more emotional than I was expecting. I do agree that it should be a 12A here in the UK, I also agree with all of your positives and negatives with this movie.
The highlight of the film for me was the performance of the character B, Cailey Fleming did great there. I’d give the movie 7.5/10!

I caught it early aswell and i think its fantastic. The only criticism I could give is kids under 8 may tune out because of its slow/dramatic pacing.

I completely agree there’s a lot to get from this as an adult. I was in floods myself, even with that bit you weren’t keen on at the end. It was like gut punch after gut punch for me.
We could all learn a lot from reconnecting with our child selves 🙂

We caught a preview this weekend as well (4/5 of the family)... All of us really enjoyed it... Good review mate... Think the heart strings it tugs at will draw tears from parents more so...

IF only this were a Disney movie, I IMAGINE that it would have been so much better.
If this was made by Disney, that would be very interesting! I don’t necessarily know if it would be better personally as I really enjoyed the movie but we will never know
I was expecting more "cuteness". I only got into the movie halfway when they started looking for matchups. I left underwhelmed but my daughter, 8 years old, really liked the ifs.
I agree when you talk about seeing the matchups. I thought that was the focus of the movies so I was disappointed.

I agree that the match up with the IFS was good but then towards the end (especially credit) it got some stupid it undermined what they did previously
Been seeing a lot of great things about this movie from early reaction def got me wanting to check it out since you also had a good time with this one especially since everyone including yourself hits you with the feels awesome review man
Definitely for me a surprise hit of 2024 for this hitting in the feels which I didn’t think would and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts 🙂
You definitely be seeing these new releases early. I don't know how you work your magic but I do appreciate the movie review. Based on the trailer, definitely look like a family film where people can enjoy. I am pretty sure everyone had a imaginary friend or best toy growing up and I'm sure it will bring up some great memories watching this movie?

Not only her Sam Rockwell too, it’s so great to hear Sam Rockwell and Awkwafina be voice acting in a movie together again since Dreamworks The Bad Guys in 2022. Speaking of Dreamworks some of the cast members for “IF” did voice acting for Dreamworks films, Ryan Reynolds who did Cal is Guy from The Croods and Turbo too, Steve Carell who voiced Blue the purple monster did Hamy from Over the hedge, Matt Damon who was the flower did the voice for Spirit Stalion of the Cimarron from 2002.
Great Video Mike I may watch both IF and The Garfield Movie at some point but the only issue i have with The Garfield Movie is snoop dogg is in the movie i have watched the animated movie version of The Addams Family and personally i didn't like it I know there is a sequel to animated The Addams Family still haven't seen it and not planning to anyway i prefer the original 90's movies anyway i have a few ideas for a future video if you are interested video is top 10 favourite musicians you like and top 10 disliked musicians you don't anyway pepsi has released a new product Pepsi - Electric (Blue Pepsi) they go for £1.35 each but Tango has also two brand new drinks Raspberry Blast - Blue and Cherry Blast - Pink but Tango drinks are limited drop only the other limited drop is a food product that is Ben and Jerry's Flipped Ice Creams also will there another Mike Triez video where you try new stuff from the McDonald's menu anyway sorry for going on

Watching the trailer I don’t understand what this movie is about at all. It looks very strange.
It’s definitely a unique movie, Jason and something that I have personally never seen it before, but honestly honestly give it a try as it has a lot of heart

@@DidYouZThat Went to see it today. Not something I really enjoyed. The leads were likeable, typical Ryan Reynolds easy likeability to be fair, but the story just didn't really grab me in any great way. Obvs I'm not the market for it ... and isn't something I'll look out for when it streams.

Saw it with the family last night. It’s awful. Sad and boring. Don’t bring young kids they will be running around within 5 minutes
Unfortunately I can’t agree! Yeah I do agree it’s not so much for kids like a traditional kids movie but it has a lot of heart
