1996 my wife and I met you in Rouyn Noranda in a little theater. We were looking for tickets to the show, and the doors were open. You told us the show was only that evening. We told you we couldn’t come back, because we had a three hour drive to go home, and visitors coming. You asked us what our favorite songs were, hide in your shell for my wife, and fools overture for myself. You told us to sit down since you were doing your sound check, and you played them for us. We will always remember that time. We finally saw you two years ago in Ottawa, and we will be there again this year. We cannot wait...l thank you for your generosity...

Such a beautiful, gentle & loving man. His music is but a reflection of his presence. I travelled Europe on a motorbike back in the 80’s, listening to Supertramp on my Walkman (who remembers them?!). I remember listening to ‘don’t leave me now’ while soaking in the beautiful region of St Moritz, Switzerland. I cried. And cried. Roger Hodgson saved me. I don't really have a story, I have never seen you live but growing up listening to supertramp was how it was. I'm almost 44 now and hearing your music not only takes me back, it makes me happy. I just got one of the last tickets for your August concert in Annapolis, Maryland. Your voice was Supertramp and I have loved your songs since I was a young kid. I never thought I would get to see Supertramp and then I found out you were still touring. I finally get to see one of the few imposible concerts on my dream concert list that I never thought would be possible. Well now the impossible is possible and I am beyond excited and cannot wait to see you sing all your classic songs. I cannot believe how great your voice sounds after all these years and cannot wait to stroll down memory lane while you sing all your great unsurpassed classic songs.

I had 6th row tickets for last night in San Diego, but I've seen you solo a couple times, and twice with Supertramp. It was time to give a little bit. A woman I care for just turned 50, and had not seen you. I gave her the tickets. She and her friend went and said it was better than she could have imagined. You even talked to her when she was going back to her seat, and offered to play a song again if she didn't hear it the first time. At 18 I Thought Id missed my chance to see you after Supertramp broke up but viola...Solotramp with your son in Las Vegas and a few years ago i took the jaunt to see you in a little venue by the sea in San Diego. At your last concert here, there were moments we literally were in tears while you took us for a long walk down memory lane.... so raw so pure so honest. It's fair to say your songs touch us deeply and seem forever timeless. Our children are now becoming increasingly absorbed by your songs. At your last concert at St James' theatre we took some friends who were not as familiar with some of your songs as we are. Hearing you perform Hide in your shell completely bowled them over. My Cousin 6yrs older than me, used to play your albums when I was a kid (late 70’s). We weren’t by any means a middle income household, yet he had a small collection of Vinyl LPs that he treasured. Breakfast in America was among those in heavy rotation that emanated from his room. In the entanglement of today’s cacophony that is life, every once in a while I get a chance to play an original pressing of Breakfast in America. The instant I manually lower the stylus on to the record and you hear that light crackle n pop as the needle catches that first grove on track one, I’m suddenly back in the house I grew up in, hearing my cousin playing his albums

Dear RogerI´ll never forget your magic concert at Porto Adriano in Mallorca, at home, dreaming, that far, someday to be able to go to see you in some city in Europe just when I discovered you were back on stage on your own, and then one day driving my motorbike I saw your picture at the rear of a metropoltan bus announcing the concert, I nearly went crazy! Fan of Supertramp since late seventies and of you in your solo adventure.
Now preparing to go to Ubeda this summer to repeat that incredible experience of Mallora.

My dearest wonderful Roger, It's been approximately 6 month ago that I have written something for you on this platform. But unfortunately I struggled with my health. Now I'm feeling good again and I want to leave you this message. Everytime I think of you I'm so exited in a positive way and I'm feeling so nervous like a teenager who has butterflies in his belly and whose thoughts are spinning round and round in his head.These feelings inside of me are so wonderful and I have to confess that I'm hopelessly devoted to you since years. I can't wait to see you again in person! However it doesn't matter where these feelings and its "lovestory" will lead me to. I'm enjoying and will enjoy the journey in future as well because I'm feeling an overflowing happyness inside of me. And I want to transmit these sparkling and overflowing feelings of happyness and love to you as a present for you wherever you may be at the moment. It's especially and only meant for you because you have caused these emotions inside of me with your wonderful and beautyful lovely aura and with your unique voice. Roger i have yet to see you in concert. My brother bought Breakfast in America when it came out and as a 13 year old i loved it right away and ever since. Seeing you in concert is on my bucket list. The only problem is i live in Vancouver Canada. Not everyone comes here

I have been to many, many, concerts through out the years. I am now 60 years old. It is hard to pick "a best concert ever" for me. But I do like to think in terms of best 4 or 5. I saw Supertramp perform at the Dome, in Virginia Beach Virginia. 1974 or 75 I believe. Still in high school. I was fortunate enough to be dead center stage, front row, stand up. Oh my God. How fortunate I was that day...........The show left an impression that I can never forget. Pure concert ecstasy! Supertramp's music is in a genre of it's own and it will forever be as beautiful today as it was in the 70's. If there is any possibility for me to make it to one of your tour dates..........I WILL BE THERE

Dear Mr. Hodgson - you are an exceptional talent and I have been a fan since Crime of the Century was originally released. Thank you for the music. If I may be so bold, it's no longer necessary for you to remind your listeners that you were the driving force behind Supertramp and writer of so many of their hits. Believe me, we know - in the same way Beatles fans know Paul McCartney was a driving force in the Beatles and writer of so much of their brilliant music. Perhaps it's time for you and Rick to let your differences go. Like it or not, you both created the music you will both be forever associated with while you were together (or at least recorded it) regardless of who did what. Let Rick play "your" songs because, as you've said yourself, you've been extraordinarily blessed that they came through you and we are all extraordinarily lucky that you found us - your audience - and had the chance to give these songs to us. And the fact of the matter is that they're now OUR songs, like it or not. Neither of you are ever going to SERIOUSLY struggle again and both of you will be rightly credited, along with John Helliwell and the rest of Supertramp for giving us some of the most creative and sublime music that continues to give real joy to so many of us who will never have a fraction of the success and adventures in this one life that you have had.
40 Year’s ago we were married because a year earlier my soon to be husband said sit down and listen to the words of this song by you hide in your shell, it was only through your music that he was able to tell me that he wanted to love me as he is not an emotionally expressive person. We haven’t been able to see u alone in concert yet but did see you in Boston when super tramp was still together back in the olden days. Hi I went to the show in Hamburg, Germany and it was superb even though Roger's slot was not long enough but wow. so many memories of my late elder brother Terry. He introduced me to "The Crime of the Century" album and not looked back since. You are a superb songwriter/musician I really hope to see you in UK somewhere.

November 1977 Wembley power cuts on at the time , lights went out for about a hour band started throwing frisbees about crowd , did not get home till 3 am had to go to work the next day.still worth it. Hope to see you nz after Xmas

Dear Roger, yesterday I was at your great concert at the Castle gardens Schwetzingen. I don't know if I can put into words what I feel. I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness! The feelings of happiness flow through my body and pulsate in every heartbeat of my heart, which performs a dance of joy in the rhythm and to the sounds of your songs.... Beautiful and wonderful!
In 1984, for the first time, I was at one of your last concerts with Supertramp at Karlsruhe and I have been extremely enthusiastic about your music since my youth. Last year I was at Mannheim Rosengarten at your incredibly beautiful concert... Yes, I am the blond woman who could not sit still any longer and jumped up and danced in the corridor to your song "Child of vision" one of my favorite songs of you... and I danced and danced toll the end and sang as if I were a young girl!!! You are simply gorgeous.... you have enchanted me!!! I love your music since my youth ... but since your concert at Mannheim I have fallen in love with the wonderful man YOU are!!! A man who carries his heart and soul on his tongue. And yesterday at the castle garden of Schwetzingen all these wonderful feelings exploded again inside of me and came much more intense to the fore and danced again the most beautiful dance of joy, love and happiness to your wonderful music and your blessed voice... a consonance of souls!

What a lucky lady you are Stefanie, Rodger Hodgsons music saved my life I'm nearly 56 and I was lucky to have an older brother who was a DJ and I have been listening to supertramp my whole life my brother saw them live in Paris back in the 70s oh how I would love the opportunity to see Rodger live ❤❤❤

I'm doing well so far but I'm a bit exhausted because of my full-time job and besides my daily work I have to take care seriously about one of my sweet old lady cats. She's my sweet little baby and she got ill this year. I'm praying everyday that she will get healthy again... so I need to be patient. But I hope the best for her.
That's the reason why I don't have the time to continue writing poems for now.... but I will continue writing love poems to Roger... for sure I will! I love it!
Roger is such a wonderful musician with such a warm and loving aura and an absolutely great voice.... to be honest... I really fell in love with him as I saw him on his concert at Mannheim in Sept 2018... He touched my heart and my soul on such a deep level that I hardly find words for this experience.
But it's the thruth of my heart and soul that I love him. Not a day passes by that I don't think of him. ☺❤ He is a source of love and peace, power and happyness.... he is a true ambassador of the power of love and joy with the ability to transform people! He is my inspiration and he is my love. A love I've never felt before in my live.

A few days ago I went to bed but I wasn't able to fall asleep, because I felt you so close to me.... it was so amazing and made me feel so happy... and words were literally bubbling out of my mind... so I turned the lights on again and wrote these beautiful words about you...
The lines on your face may tell me something about your physical age, but I look into your beautiful eyes instead. . . and your eyes are telling me so much about the depth of your wonderful precious soul.
You may have doubts about my words which are speaking of the love and passion I'm feelung for you and you may wondering if it's the truth that I want to touch you, be close to you, feel you, be with you... if it's really true that I want you and share my life with you.
But dear, I can feel your heart and I've never felt such a warmth and such a compassion.... I can feel its tenderness, its longing, its passion and its enchanting love.... and I also feel its fragility and its hidden wounds which are telling of treachery and pain in life even though most people only look at the exiting and successful part of your life and your amazing career...
I look at your face and I see every detail. . . the wrinkles around your eyes, the birthmarks, your nose, your dimples, your lips. . . and I don't want to miss anything of it.
And when I close my eyes I can feel laying my hand on your beautiful heart... feeling every heart beat of it.. feeling its rhythm, feeling what its loving melody is telling me...
