Dr. Joshi please suggest some research material (journal) which shows that sunlight has nothing to do with synthesis of Vitamin D in the body .
What we used to study is that ergosterol is present in human skin. When this is exposed to sun light or ultraviolet radiations it is activated and acquire the potency of vitamin D vitamin D4 to be exact.
Dr. Shashank is an idiot guys. Sunlight help in the formation of vit D. Rays reacts with cholesterol which is present in the whole body and forms a chemical which passes from liver where it is processed further and then from kidney and converted to vit D and is absorbed by bones.

Vitamin d is produced by ultraviolet b light. Ultravoilet b is absent in morning and evening because ozone layer absorb all the uv b light at that time. Only uv A is present in morning and evening which does not produce vit d.
So 10 am to 4 pm light is best for vit d production

In paan chewing chuna is with katho. And sweet coconut that chuna is calcium provider nourishment. So why deny eating paan as mukhvas? Increase daily doze of paan after meal will strengthen bones.
Methi pak can provide sufficient nourishment for bones strengthening having gum and much herbal ingredients.

My personal point of view is that vitamin D is a must & very important., Sunlight especially in the morning & evening is beneficial to some extent but the main vitamins will be found in the food we eat. If one is low in vitamin D then it will be eminent that one will have symptoms of tiredness, laziness.lack of energy & bone pains and with a lot of complications with other issues in our bodies. VEGETARIANS ke liye vitD maintain karna mushkil hai India me kyuki mik aur diary products tu detergent aur urea mila hota hai.Unfortunately no milk compsny has its own diaries, they procure from farmers and most of them mix vegetable oil and urea in a way that milk gets passed to next stage.Mother diary,Amul have failed in almost every test whenever done independently.

Lumia capsules once per day. Sun basking early phase of the morning between 8am to 10am. Also lean meat and fish. Shell fish and lot of green veggies. I was having three weeks ago vitanin D chronic deficiency of 9. Never tested it ever in my life. This is the fourth week. Religiously followed as per my GP's advice. Checked it today it is 35.

The doctor has said about the sunrays being not appropriate because of pollutants but HE didn't dare to speak on sun screens. Why was it so? Corporate world doesn't allow this?
I too was rather confused about it. Main thing is: Dr Joshi is the only doctor I have so far heard saying that sunshine doesn’t contribute to vitamin D production, while other doctors are encouraging viewers to get sunshine - contradictory opinions in the same video. An Indian myth??? Please clear this up for us🙏
