I did a lot of cut and come again over the years. I am now experimenting with EZ cut lettuce in 6 inch pots. I am finding that one or two plants will fill a bowl full of lettuce. Cut at the soil to harvest the whole head as one pc. Cut a couple of inches up and the lettuce is separate leaves like cut and come again. So it makes harvesting a faster process. And it will grow back if you cut it a few inches up. And the lettuce is beautiful and full of body.

That's an interesting way of growing lettuce indoors. I've been growing it as separate plants - about 4 plants in a planter box. And I harvest the outside leaves. Your planting method is much denser than my approach and it looks productive. Perhaps I'll give it a try this year.

    • @toddmarsh10

The yield is more. The leaf size can be a bit smaller. I'm going to post many videos with different varieties this year. Maybe on a new channel.

I use ocean solutions. To see it you can go to homemicrogreens dot com /ocean my last post on Home Microgreens shows the results using OS. Amazing results using it on microgreens and hemp mat. Even though the results were less dramatic with soil in the short term, once the nutrients are used up in the soil the Ocean Solution will do wonders! That really depends on the vegetable. For the most part, vegetables should be started in smaller cells with much fewer seeds. Some, like celery, can be started this way and then pricked out. But no way would you need that many. The video is more about growing greens inside.
