    I’m on Social Security and Medicare. The thing that happens is yes we got a three point whatever percent increase last year but my Medicare part B payment also went up by $60 a month more than my cola so I actually took a $60 a month cut. I literally made best decisions when i started working with an advisor

    • @YadaniL-g8k
      @YadaniL-g8k 26 дней назад

      It’s unfortunate how Medicare costs can sometimes offset Social Security increases, making it feel like a setback. It sounds like your decision to work with an adviser has been beneficial, especially in managing these unexpected costs. Having an adviser to guide you through planning for healthcare expenses alongside Social Security adjustments can be invaluable in securing a stable income

    • @Satjr35031
      @Satjr35031 26 дней назад

      That’s incorrect Medicare B went up $9.80 a month.

      Totally agree. A good financial adviser is a game-changer. My portfolio is balanced for all market conditions, and it has returned 120% since early last year. My adviser and I are now working toward hitting a seven-figure goal, which could take another year.

    Stop both-sidsing the issue. Democrats want to fix the Social security system and have been trying to for 20 years. But Republicans have so far blocked all efforts. In fact, it is primarily Republicans who are behind budget cuts to the Social Security Agency, leading to longer wait times for people looking for help from the Agency. Your guest also failed to mention another big fix, namely eliminating the cap of contributions to Social Security. At present only the first $160,000 of income are taxed for Social security purposes. So people like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk pay the same amount into Social Security as someone making $160,000. Eliminating the cap would greatly extend the life of the Trust Fund.

    • @fredreed2001
      @fredreed2001 13 дней назад

      Yes and the republicans just killed a bill that would have expanded social security benefits for the millions of people on the program. Yet everyone voted him back in again why. All trump wants to do is cut social security benefits for us all who are on the program.

      He’s a “felon” because corrupt Democrats used the Department of Justice against their political rival. If the system was equal a couple more on both sides would be felons. It’s why the Supreme Court had to step in and override them and their games. Biden would be a felon by now too, they declared him unfit for trial. A joke and the undoing of any fair, or equal justice department. Going forward I expect we’re going to see a lot more of this nonsense on both sides.

    Donald Trump's trade wars with China resulted in a U.S. trade deficit of $679 billion. The national debt increased 40.43%. The U.S. economy lost 2.9 million jobs, including 1.4 million in manufacturing. 1,800 factories closed. 300,000 jobs were offshored. The U.S. economy contracted at the fastest rate since 1946.
