Can we talk about how good Phil is at his job for a moment? The intros, sound quality, quick changes, and songs? The man behind the screen doesn’t get enough credit.
As an Utah resident I would like to give you some context. First off, you are largely right. Utah has a bad habit of selling off public lands. This is bad news. However the federal land you are talking about is largely controlled by the BLM. The BLM has made it their mission to shut down access to our public lands. This is a bureau and because of that we have absolutely no recourse as cal is suggesting. I largely agree with what you are saying, but realize the access to these lands are not what you think. The public is pushing for these lands to be state controlled in the name of access, but the state of Utah is taking advantage of our outrage and using it against us by turning around and selling them off.
Man it’s already hard to hunt in Utah. For my hunting area you only get a general rifle deer tag every 4 to 5 years. I’ve loss so many good areas to private property. This is I’m teaching my 4 year old to fish. He will never learn to love the outdoors by hunting alone like I did in the 1980’s.
As a Utahn i think it happens here because we have a general distrust of the federal government dating back to the creation of the state and the Feds taking away a huge portion of land
love the show format. great job hosting janis and great quiz phill

I loved the pop culture quiz. Gotta make it harder for them though. 😂
One of the best video intros I’ve seen. Guitar riffs are sweet sweet goodness to the ears as well
Someone get Cal a sticker STAT for his laptop to cover that 🍎
Phil man, amazing as always
lol I’ve just watched Escanaba in da moonlight ahead of the next live show…… you guys owe me 92mins 🙈😂
The intro to the bad tattoo needs a voice over of the no regrets guy from Were the Millers movie.
When they get to love fishing I was about to ask “ what mud lake is he at?” There is 6 alone between Charlevoix and emmet county 😂
I thought the echos were on purpose. That's one heck of a bull too, Brodie!

I was really hoping the camera would flip to papa Yanis and see him with like 8 bobbers in the water. (Or max legal for his location)
I know Phil has probably fixed it but sounds like a very minimal popping sound on Jani’s mic
How do you keep squirrels off of those tomatoes??? 🍅

Wow. Quite a one sided conversation on what Utah is doing and why. Thought you guys would do better than this.
