I have a SL theory. If people believe that Liz’s death is the first, I have an explanation. So something traumatic happened at Fall Fest. Maybe a k*dnapping, Murder, etc. William, wanting to prevent this, created the funtimes, who are able to open up and grab a child. The thick plastic and multiple layers of metal would be bullet proof to a certain degree, and that kind of thing. Maybe their scanning for adults and voice mimicking is for the safety of the children. If there are enough adults in the room, then the features wouldn’t be needed. If the kid is skeptical, the voice mimicking could help ease them. They grab them, and hold them in until the danger is gone and they are manually released. William, though, knew these features were experimental, and told Liz not to go near so the bugs could be fixed. She obviously didn’t listen, and Liz was trapped inside. When the manual controls were initiated, Circus Baby overheated, and Elizabeth died. Is there a lot of evidence for this? Nope. Are there plot holes? Absolutely. Also apparently what story there was, had been figured out by theorists like MatPat so Scott retconned details. Now it's basically the community's job to guess what's even going on now (and possibly invest in the entire FNAF franchise to do so).

One small theory that may be considered bad is William Afton is literally purple like Michael but he became purple from a springlock failure but Henry saved him from getting stuck in and even dying from it but since he was fatally injured he turned purple. It has been shown in the Silver Eyes that William has been caught in springlocks before and survived.

No but, really. Its a lot more than "Mangle doesn't talk, therefor Mangle is a dog." It was a brief stint in the theorizing space which MatPat did touch on at one point (though I'm about 80% sure he was not the first to coin the theory), and it had a lot more (equally as unconvincing) evidence than you covered here. The evidence can pretty neatly be sorted into 3 main points.
1. Mangle was possessed before the other Toys, assuming SAVE THEM is accurate.
Mangle is seen actively crawling around during SAVE THEM, which, at the time, was generally believed to be what causes the Toys to become possessed. Therefor, it can be assumed (by a select subset of theorists who believed in a plethora of other theories that domino-effected their way into popping this tOtAlLy LeGiTiMaTe LoGiCaL fAlLaCy WhIcH aCtS aS a ThEoRy PiTfAlL for them to pull out of their ass as a way of going "well how do you explain this in your theory? oh you don't because its a moot point and doesn't actually mean anything? well, my theory DOES explain it, so mine is clearly better" into somebody's head) that IF the DCI is what caused the Toys to become possessed, AND none of the Toys are moving during SAVE THEM except for Mangle, THEN Mangle must have been possessed by a non-DCI victim.
2. Mangle acts bizarrely during FNaF 2.
The summarization speaks for itself, people saw the damn thing crawling and decided that it made sense to assume whatever possessed Mangle had to crawl in life, too.
3. Susie's dog must be narratively important, due to being brought up, according to the community at large.
Due to the misguided belief that Scott "dOeSn'T dO cOiNcIdEnCeS," much of the community began to get super obsessed over small details (Example: Accepting Phone Guy's "if I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for 20 years and I never got a bath" comment as complete fact, ignoring the possibility of casual exaggeration and rounding numbers up), and due to the general rule of Chekov's Gun, Susie's dog essentially having an entire minigame dedicated to it (Fruity Maze) meant that it MUST be important to the story.
These three points all combined together as a great way for people to kill three completely arbitrary theory pitfalls with one genuinely pointless throwing-shit-at-the-wall-and-seeing-what-sticks concept that changed nothing about the franchise.

One small theory that may be considered bad is William Afton is literally purple like Michael but he became purple from a springlock failure but Henry saved him from getting stuck in and even dying from it but since he was fatally injured he turned purple. It has been shown in the Silver Eyes that William has been caught in springlocks before and survived.
I like that idea. The fact a springlock incident is survivable isn’t something I see brought up a lot, despite the fact it’s a major part of the story
