    ⚠️Caution⚠️ These places are popular for Japanes instagrammers; extremely clouded in the weekends. Especially the crepe shop at 3 pm will form a LONG que, so avoid that time. You will also miss some of the popular menues if you don't go there early, cause they run out fast. And like Paolo said, there are places specially designed for eating, so be careful not to eat and walk. There are also animal cafes at this area, so if you love shiba, cats, and owls, Asakusa is your spot😊

    We happen to be in Asakusa right now and tried two of these places today: the ramen for breakfast and curry pan for lunch! We will see if there is any unagi left for dinner 😂 thank you for the recommendations!

    I am planning a long trip to Japan in the spring of next year.. Asakusa is definitely on the list of must see places. It's hard to ignore all the amazing videos about this place, from various channels. The street food looks amazing! The curry pan looks absolutely delicious, I can't wait to try one!     The Eel Rice ball looks the most delicious and the Curry looks delicious I have heard of Curry from an Anime but have never seen what it actually looks like. and the Street food looks more Hygenic than Indian Street vendors. but i need more day-in-the-life videos from you.

    I have decided, I AM going to Japan in the next couple years. I’ve been thinking about it my whole life. Very excited to ride all the world-class public transit, and I do want to stay in Asakusa! I want to go for at least a week and a half so I can take a couple days after landing to adjust to jet lag and just vibe and explore and marvel at simple things like conbinis and street food wheee.

    The unagi onigiri and the katsu pan would be my first stops to try. After a night of drinking, that ramen shop would really hit the spot.

    Having lived in Kyoto, I can firmly recommend Kyoto as the better historical destination to visit. Kyoto has a more authentic historical feel. Nara and Himeji are good stops as well.

    My dream is to go to Japan. Ever since i was a teenager I fell in love with the culture, style, food. There are so many things i wish America had that Japan has. I wanna plan on a trip for next year, any tips for someone who doesn't know a whole lot of Japanese?

    Great timing on this one. I'm currently staying in Asakusa, leaving Tuesday. I have tried the Ramen place, it was really good. I went to the Onigiri place you mentioned today, at 4PM Saturday. You can put in your order, but it's a 1 hour and 45 minute wait to pick it up! Insanely busy. I can't do it today. But at least they haven't sold out yet.

    Eel on rice is my ultimate favourite dish. It's so hard to find in my country. Some shushi shops will do eel sushi, but that's it. When I lived on my parents farm, my brother and I would catch and smoke eel and eat it with rice. It's more common to have eel cooked in a hangi (underground oven) in NZ, with sweet potatoes.

    I love your home adventures with Maiko and Wolfy, but I missed your street videos so much. Might actually be the best time to revisit some of these places now tourism is in full force. For example, I recently watched your Kyoto video but several of the places you mentioned have sadly shut down.
