⚠️Caution⚠️ These places are popular for Japanes instagrammers; extremely clouded in the weekends. Especially the crepe shop at 3 pm will form a LONG que, so avoid that time. You will also miss some of the popular menues if you don't go there early, cause they run out fast. And like Paolo said, there are places specially designed for eating, so be careful not to eat and walk. There are also animal cafes at this area, so if you love shiba, cats, and owls, Asakusa is your spot😊
I really wish to see " a day in life" and "behind the counter" videos done by Paolo from all over the world. I just LOVE watching your videos. The aesthetics, the style, everything seems to amaze me. I usually watch your videos while I'm havin' food and it totally adds alot to the experience. Great work!! Lots of love 🎉

Oh my god no way!!!! Paolo that's my friends and I at the very beginning of the Curry Pan stop at Komugi no Dorei! I went up to you after you were filming and were so nice! thank you for taking time to chat and recommending the curry bun! It was delicious.
Ahhh, the perfect video to watch just before I go and grab some lunch. Japanese food never fails to impress me with its quality. It always looks delicious and always looks... Well, GOOD! Great! You can feel the love put into the food through the video!
We happen to be in Asakusa right now and tried two of these places today: the ramen for breakfast and curry pan for lunch! We will see if there is any unagi left for dinner 😂 thank you for the recommendations!
I am planning a long trip to Japan in the spring of next year.. Asakusa is definitely on the list of must see places. It's hard to ignore all the amazing videos about this place, from various channels. The street food looks amazing! The curry pan looks absolutely delicious, I can't wait to try one! Thank you for sharing!
The Eel Rice ball looks the most delicious and the Curry looks delicious I have heard of Curry from an Anime but have never seen what it actually looks like. and the Street food looks more Hygenic than Indian Street vendors. but i need more day-in-the-life videos from you.
Definitely will visit our Japanese friends in Tokyo and plan to stay in Asakusa after our last trips to Kyoto and Hokkaido many years ago!! Thanks Paolo😊
I have decided, I AM going to Japan in the next couple years. I’ve been thinking about it my whole life. Very excited to ride all the world-class public transit, and I do want to stay in Asakusa! I want to go for at least a week and a half so I can take a couple days after landing to adjust to jet lag and just vibe and explore and marvel at simple things like conbinis and street food wheee.
Having lived in Kyoto, I can firmly recommend Kyoto as the better historical destination to visit. Kyoto has a more authentic historical feel. Nara and Himeji are good stops as well.
Oh yeeeaaah. That baked potato was waaaaay better than I expected. I was skeptical but so many people were getting in line, I had to know what I was missing out on.
My dream is to go to Japan. Ever since i was a teenager I fell in love with the culture, style, food. There are so many things i wish America had that Japan has. I wanna plan on a trip for next year, any tips for someone who doesn't know a whole lot of Japanese?
This is perfect!!! I’m staying in Asakusa for a few days when I go to Japan in the Spring. Good to know that there is good food waiting for me there too 😂❤
Great timing on this one. I'm currently staying in Asakusa, leaving Tuesday. I have tried the Ramen place, it was really good. I went to the Onigiri place you mentioned today, at 4PM Saturday. You can put in your order, but it's a 1 hour and 45 minute wait to pick it up! Insanely busy. I can't do it today. But at least they haven't sold out yet.
Eel on rice is my ultimate favourite dish. It's so hard to find in my country. Some shushi shops will do eel sushi, but that's it. When I lived on my parents farm, my brother and I would catch and smoke eel and eat it with rice. It's more common to have eel cooked in a hangi (underground oven) in NZ, with sweet potatoes.
Thank you for another awesome insightful video Paolo and team! We’ll be visiting Tokyo in March next year for 2 and half weeks. Can’t wait to try out some of the places from this video!
I love your videos, I’ve been a subscriber for a long time! Your hot sauce is incredible and I can’t wait to visit Japan because of you! Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort into your videos!
another great video showing off Asakusa. there is so much to see, eat, do in Asakusa. exploring it after 9pm is also great because you'll be mostly alone and everything is so picturesque
Staying in Asakusa for a few days starting tonight and thanks to you I know a few spots to hit. Your videos are always the best. You kept me so entertained and kept my spirits up through lockdown early in the Pandemic
Thanks again for a great video. Excellent production value as always, I really enjoy your videos. Great stuff! And I am hungry now. Can't wait to go to Tokyo!
Hello new friend!! I have watched several of your videos, and I am loving them! I live in Texas, USA, and I love learning new things from abroad. I am already familiar with your wife and son through your previous videos and I think you have a wonderful family. Thank you for showing me all the different things in your part of the world. ❤️😊
I love your home adventures with Maiko and Wolfy, but I missed your street videos so much. Might actually be the best time to revisit some of these places now tourism is in full force. For example, I recently watched your Kyoto video but several of the places you mentioned have sadly shut down.
My husband and I love watching your channel. I think we are going to end up visiting Japan after seeing all these amazing videos. Also, you convinced us to buy a subscription of Bokksu for us and a friend ;)
These food’s look really good and I’m actually going to Japan in some months for the first time and I’m really excited to try the food there and all the things Japan has to offer. I also love your attitude and videos ❤

When Paulo bites into food, I wait for the quality of the Chewbacca noises to see if it's really good or not.

Great to hear Paolo speaking Japanese
I'm staying in asakusa next month when I visit Japan again and will definitely try some of these places out❤
Hearing the people at the amusement park nearby gave the video a sense of the area being busy rather than dead.
I think it added to the video. 😊
I love when you do these restaurant walks.
Hello! I'm Shin!! I'm the person that came up to you in Kyoto Station!!! It was so awesome to meet you and your family!!!
Oh, that matcha tiramisu crepe looks so good! And that curry pan looks so crispy as well!
I love sweet potatoes and they're one of my favorite foods and I love sweets in general so I would try out these places.
Paolo you missed showing one of the best parts of Asakusa! Those shops selling realistic plastic food displays for restaurants!
