Love this series where Paolo shows hidden street food gems …have visited some of his recommendations before… exploring for food so fun…now just have to return to Tokyo 😅
idk I feel like he tries way too hard. content is great though, but he needs to calm down on the overdone facial expressions and not pretend he's absolutely happy about everything
@@phil_matic its natuarally tbh don't think he is being it done in a manner which he overworks himself or so, but its like if that passion is so dear to you, u would get lost into it.
That last spot could never be a thing in many places around the world, it would get ransacked the first day it opens! If there's one country that can make it happen, it's Japan! 😅
I am always kinda fascinated how melty egg gets served in Japan. You can´t even get a smooth boiled egg at a German hotel. The only option is fully cooked.
Yes and no - you cant get soft boiled eggs from a breakfast buffet for safety reasons but you can order poached eggs (which of course have a very runny yolk), or even raw egg to top your beef tartar 🙂
The first sandwich, cheese/egg sandwich looks sooooooo gooooood!!!! I've been to Japan many times and I miss the egg salad sandwiches from the 7-11 --- talking about comfort on the fly food of course.
That egg sandwich is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I’ll take that for breakfast, the yaki balls for lunch, and the curry udon for supper. Have to pass on the ice cream and pudding due to too much lactose, but you even gave me a sorbet option, so I still get dessert!
When I went to Tokyo in 2017 I stayed ebisu small airbnb studio and loved it so much. There was so many cool places but also where we were was so local and quiet
Your 'hidden' food spots videos are head and shoulders above what other 'j-vloggers' are doing. Fantastic. I've been to so many places you've recommended-- my stomach thanks you! :D
I miss the Street Food top spots series! Helped me a lot during my trips not just in Tokyo but in Osaka (Dotonbori) and Kyoto (Nishiki Market) as well. I hope you'll do one in Hoppy Street too.
@@nthuthukomdluli1052 well it isn't like that if u have that source of income a perfect knowledge of where to stay or u could say a perfect schedule you could make a living out of it yeah it makes sense the tickets are very high.but worth it but not recommended when you're in a situation which is totally broke .
Paolo, I love this series and your attention to detail. This creperie place does get some knowledge in pricing, just look: $7.97 for a single crepe with some ice vs. $6.98 for a whole meal with udon & soup 🍲 Amazing!
Persimmons are so underrated. They are very delicious but are very delicate and take forever to ripen. I get them whenever they are in season and then impatiently wait for them to fully ripen. I’ve never made sherbet with them, but maybe I’ll try this fall - or at least make granita.
I live in the Southwest USA and there is a Spanish dish called Flan that has caramel sauce and is very similar to that pudding. My favorite food ever. There is also a French custard that is similar. I LOVE FOOD!
I absolutely love these street food videos that you do! You always seem to find the BEST spots with the TASTIEST foods. I also love all of your reactions when you taste the food. You have such excellent descriptions of the foods and such a truly happy smile! Keep up the awesome work!
Alright, I will imagine how much the foods (and beer) will cost in my country Cheese Omelette Sandwich - $6.25 Matcha Crepe with Gelato topping - $10 Curry Udon Regular - $11 Mitarashi Dango - $6 or $5 Kimukatsu Sando -$5 Hamburg Ball -$8.50 Pudding -$5.25 Beer -$3
Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world, yet you can find so much food that offers incredible value for money. Also, these videos always make me hungry.
Paolo, I love your videos. When I grew up, I used to watch a kids tv show about day in a life of a kid from different countries, and I loved it! Your channel gives me nostalgia ^^
You had my favourite foods (Mochi, udon and egg sando) I’m so hungry now! Can’t wait to come back to Japan! Can you do another video of convenience store foods that are hot right now?
Way to make us Japan-lovers envious who can't travel to Japan at the moment. ^o^ I hope to travel to Japan with my big brother in 2022 and experience all this good stuff. :D

Hi @Paolo ! I really love your content. I discover your channel while I am preparing my first trip to Japan for May 2023. Thank you for your videos ;-) I love your shirt btw, where did you find it.
There's a place here in Hawaii called Nana Ai Katsu that does the layered style of Kimukatsu. It was the first time I've ever seen it and it works SO well, I like if as much if not more than the traditional style!
we need more day in the life videos! Please! i would like to see more figure makers, cosplayers, anime makers, anime conventions, just the everyday people that make Japan run.
Idk what you do but you r videos is like an anime its nice and colour full and has a super nice vibe to it! its like anti anxiety. Ty For tha vids Trully !
Paolo, these are such awesomely diverse spots in a compact area. In 2030, when we can get into Japan again, I hope they are still doing such great food :-)
Can you please film a day in the life of a Japanese lawyer/advocate or a day in the life of a school student (if possible🙂).. I love that series and I'm always curious about Japanese culture 🤗
I love your food recos vlogs since they became useful when I went to Japan. But A day in a life series is my favorite.. Day in a life series puhleaseeee 🥺🥺🥺
Oh Wow. I'd never seen takoyaki done with anything other than octopus. I love traditional takoyaki but my mind is blown! Now I'm definitely getting the takiyaki addon for my zojirushi griddle.
Cool video Pao! this made me wanted to travel to Japan once Covid restriction is lifted. But one thing caught my attention was your shoes, man, that is so nice. may i know what Brand/ model it is? if you don't mind 🤣

Will you be doing a Yatai video?? I was wondering on that type of eating in Japan.
Please do video on a life in a day of Japanese Elevator technician

true. Open this in germany and on the first saturday night after the drunkards are finished it would look like Hiroshima🌚
When Paolo releases a video about food way past dinner time, I just know that is on purpose. Getting hangry again!
Seriously, all that delicious food. I'm screaming internally.
That egg sandwich is perfection!

If anyone goes to Ebisu, take the south exit where you cross over a bridge. Nicest views and walks. Great place to eat outside as well.

The head tilt-back and growl when you eat tasty food always makes me smile.

I was thinking the same thing, inflation must not of hit Japan. Even before that the prices were higher then japan
