This a little late but it may help new users that find this video. The wires rubbing against the frame is because the drag chain is attached too far forward on the Y axis . The rubbing cable that comes out of the end needs to bend back to connect. It can't bend back with enough slack to keep it out of the way of the fame when tied to the side of the upright. Unsnap a couple of bars (not the entire link) from the top of the Y drag chain to release a little more cable. This will let you wire tie it to the back of the upright instead of the side. The video on the SD card shows the cable tied to the back not the side. The cable doesn't get in the way of the limit switch when tied this way (tested).
Love you videos thanks for everything you share with us.

I sent this over to Two Trees and they said nothing back, but I hope it gets fixed. I cut about 10mm off the slot to reduce the "rub" issue which seemed like the simple fix. I wanted to keep the chain like OEM, but...your's is another good fix.

Drives me NUTS when these companies don't engineer these things better. Come on TT!

Yeah that slot was like HOW does this happen ? I tried spacers etc, but in the end just open it up more and no more cable rub. The tech at TwoTrees said they would look into it and thanked me but I have to wonder if they'll fix it ? or ?

Two trees is known for this, that's why I'm going to pass. I have the SP5 3D printer and it's been nothing but issues.

@@dangerous8333 Interesting but only the cable rub was an issue. The rest of the TTC 450 seems to be pretty good.

They are looking into it. I'm just walking on glass to show it with them. Might be on the black list now LOLOL....oh well, I did work in engineering offices for a bit and learned a lot about corporate meetings and how things get screwed up LOL.

@@SirTools me too… I managed R&D testing of bedding and furniture for 10 years. Egos, engineers who never touched a product and accountants who only worried about the bottom line made the job seem like I was constantly walking a high wire over a lion den. Good luck bud.

A rubber “U-edge trim” could help clean-up/ Hide that “wobble”.(I forget what it’s called but it’s out there… “U-Trim”?…I used it on my sluice boxes to get rid of the long Sharp Edges.. It’s cheap and works great)..🤙🏼.
Ordered My 450 and I’m checking out what your doing w/ yours..
