Yeah, HSN definitely did him dirty. To just outright fire him without even offering him any support was wrong, and you know that at least one of the people who made the call to terminate his employment was themselves addicted to painkillers.
HSN is a joke of a company, and they clearly don’t give a damn about their employees because they didn’t even offer him the choice of coming back after rehab. According to Maven WWE, for all of their vile behavior, did reach out to him and talked to him about rehab and getting off of the pills even though he hadn’t been part of the WWE for years at that point.

This is the best discussion on "personal accountability" I think I've ever seen.
Okay, while what I'm about to say might seem a little "harsh" I sincerely don't mean it as a negative...
Your videos have been popping up in my feed for a few weeks (because once in a while I might watch an occasional old-school WWE match) and when I saw your videos my first reaction was "why the f*ck is this 'Tough Enough' guy coming up in my feed!?"
Eventually I took the bait and I'm only 3 or 4 videos in and I cannot express enough how down to Earth and genuine you come across.
Maven, I say with with the most utmost sincerity, please keep doing what you are doing.
With this trajectory, I would like to see you continue with you own path upwards and inspire those listening.

Blew out L1,2,3,4,5 and S1 when I was 24 years old playing college hockey. Didn't do anything about it til I was 33 years old. At that point I could barely walk. After 4 surgeries, I was prescribed three OC 80s a day plus up to eight oxycodone 15's per day for "breakthrough pain". I spent five years totally addicted but I justified it because a "Doctor" was prescribing it. I finally had moment of clarity and realized that I was destroying myself. A new doctor helped me ween off. It took 8 months of detox/withdrawals. No methadone no suboxone. Then another 4 months of rebuilding myself to a point where I could go back to work and start rebuilding my life. I was 38 years old. Now at 50, I'm doing very well. However, even 12 years later I still get cravings. They're miniscule, but they'll always be there. Just don't act on them.
