I’ve been seeing some disagreements with the stuff I said regarding Sage’s statement about being sent by God to kill “the fist that has turned against God” and why I have problems with saying that would put him above Tatsumaki and Psyrochi, so I’ll clarify some things here. This is a very long winded and complicated topic because we know very little about God currently. We don't know exactly how much God knows. There are a couple possible interpretations in my eyes: 1. God has been watching everything from the start of the series. He would have seen Boros and the Serious Punch that deflected the Roar Canon. I don't believe Sage scales to that at all. In this case, it would be way more consistent with the story and scaling for God to have lied to Sage about having to take down the fist that has turned against God and instead Sage's true purpose was to force Garou to grow into a better vessel for God later on or something. That's pretty much the only explanation I see that would make the statement from Sage consistent with the rest of the series. 2. God has been watching since Orochi's defeat. God's mural said "Our God shall resurrect onto this Earth when, on this altar, a worthy sacrifice is offered." Orochi technically died on that altar and the mural depicts him as a sacrifice for God. Also right after those pages, we get a panel that seems symbolic of God being summoned back into the Earth as we get a panel where the perspective of the shot makes it look like an eye opening up with the moon being the eye. From that point on we constantly see the moon looking over everything, as if it's watching the action go down. This I believe is the most likely point from which God started directly observing the battles going on, as a few chapters after the Orochi fight, God doesn't recognize Saitama when he and Flashy Flash stumble upon God's cube. In this interpretation, God would have never seen Saitama's fight with Orochi. He wouldn't know exactly who the fist that has turned against God is and would likely just feel the presence of such a being in this dimension and be attracted to it, but not know who it is exactly or how strong the person is. I assume that to be the fist that has turned against God, one has to have removed their limiter. I don't really see any other reason. And we know Garou started breaking his limiter all the way back in spiral form. The limiter might also be different for each individual, so it's not really scalable where the baseline for "the fist that has turned against God" would be scaling-wise. Meaning it doesn't really scale anywhere. God would later see Tatsumaki fighting Psyrochi and all of monster Garou's battles. But again, "the fist that has turned against God" may not necessarily scale to these characters, as Garou's limiter was starting to break when he was waaaayyyy weaker than these people. God wouldn't know how strong the fist that turned against God is in this interpretation and him sending Sage out to destroy this arbitrary unscalable entity doesn't really mean much. You could argue God thinks Sage is stronger than Psyrochi, but by the time he sends Sage out to destroy the fist that has turned against God, Tatsumaki is knocked out and Psyrochi is gone. Sage wouldn't have to face either one of them in a fight when he arrived, so God wouldn't be taking them into account. In this interpretation, it is also must to mention the argument that God foresaw Orochi's defeat. But 1. We know for a fact he doesn't know who Orochi would lose to, since he did not recognize Saitama later. For all God knows, Tatsumaki could have been the one who beat Orochi and then he sent Sage out when she wasn't a factor anymore. And 2. You can't really prove God would know the exact strength level of Orochi. He could just know that there will be this Orochi guy at some point and he'll be his sacrifice and that's it. You can't prove he'd know exactly how strong Orochi is based on the prophesy alone. All this to say: I personally don't think there's any definitive way to prove Sage scales above Orochi narratively.
Scaling is completly on point. Sage Centipede is just a huge destructive Machine, nothing more. WHile Orochi is a walking Genius Fighter and a Nuclear Bomb at the same time.
you forgot to mention orochi's skill level and adaption (it's arguably almost on garou's level) his regenration, his ability to absorb the life force of other beings to make himself stronger, and also gets stronger during each near death experience.
It's not really on Garou's level, it's a good amount lower. Orochi was said by psykos to be a weaker version of garou (in that category). It still copied Garou's fighting style and would be a force to be reckoned with, but his adaptation is lower

This is because despite being outclassed by all the cadre at the beginning of the day, by the end of the day, monster garou was probably one of the strongest combatants there. I doubt that it would take as long as it did for orochi to become as powerful as he is if he was garou level.
Just to clarify, I don't think Sage is weak, he's still a high tier in the verse and I believe only a handfull of characters could actually beat him. But I also happen to think Orochi is one of those handfull. To be honest I wish Sage was stronger than he is. Man's got one of the coolest character designs in the series and the concept of Elder Cenipede having a boss is hype. I was just dissapointed with the execution.
Bro I forgot about the Elder Centipede scaling w/bang, and the Post Sage Garou scaling with Orochi makes me rethink everything about Garou. Now based on scaling I moved my mind around on a lot of stuff. Befire I go into it here is just something funny- I'm contemplating if Platinum sperm is stronger than Psykos. He is a lot faster and would win, but still WTF. Anyway IMO Post Centipede Garou looks weak. He should be in the same general tier as Orochi. I used to think Post-Sage Garou was at the level of, or above Psykorochi, but now he is so weak in comparison. Now Tatsumaki is around two one shot levels ahead of Post Sage Garou. Literally a No-Diff squeeze. Dude Genos could one shot him if he was fast enough. Tatsumaki could be as strong (But not nearly as fast) as Gargoyle Garou. Yea Also based on the above scaling Released Boros just yeets Gargoyle Garou in one punch, considering the fact that he oh so slightly damaged a Saitama that is many one shot levels of the one that Tatsumaki couldnt hurt, and now Tatsumaki could be near Gargoyle Garou. wtf. Also Armored Boros gets nerfed depending on the calcs. Lore wise I put him somewhat above post sage Garou (and now) Orochi, and conperable speed to Orochi (for reasons). Depending on calcs he could still be near Psykorohi's level like I originally thought, but I have doubts

The issue with Sage centipede is that his chapters were rushed as hell, just meant to show case Garou. How did Sage Centipede get to the atmosphere in no time but could be seen by humans. I really dislke how dirty he platinum s and Evil Ocean Water were done just to overplay Garou

The original was succinct, direct, Garou was terrifying and nuanced, and you have the awesome scene where all the heroes want Saitama to kill him. Manga has all this ridiculous escalation that just starts to feel dull and pointless. Then you have these trope scenes like Genos dying. Oh but Saitama is sneezing so it’s still OPM!

The manga had so much unnecessary scenes. It's like using all the toppings on an ice cream and make it so sweet it gives you type 2 diabetes. And worse, there are plenty of plot holes and deus ex machina. The manga scene where Tareo wanted to save Garou cant even come close to the webcomic version. I also hate the plothole of when Saitama punched Garou, everyone couldn't see it, but BS could. And when Bang rehabilitated Garou immediately in the next chapter, it was so dumb. Everything felt rushed and lazy in the manga version. And all of it for what? Just to showcase the powers and abilities, at the cost plot logic and simple yet powerful storytelling
Great video, the segment clowning on Sage’s speed was great since I always wondered why people scale Sage’s speed to Garou’s despite the fact that normal humans could perceive them fighting. One thing I wanted to bring up is it’s very likely that God did not witness Saitama’s fight with Boros since Saitama jumping off the moon is what’s implied to have either woken up God or just have made him aware of Saitama, so he most likely didn’t see most of, if any of the fight.
??? God literally appeared 2 years before when Blast almost killed Elder Centipede. He probably existed decades ago considering how Blast was carrying those cubes in Tatsumaki's flashback. So he definitely was around way before Boros came to earth.

This is emphasized by the fact that despite the fact that Saitama removed his limiter, God didn’t start doing anything about it till post Boros fight, implying he wasn’t aware of Saitama till after the moon jump.

I think when it comes to speed, SageC size makes the speed appear slower and easier to track. The difference of scale compared to Garou is akin to a house fly next to a 18 wheeler. The latter at 100 mph is easy to see and track while the former would be virtually impossible. Another thing to consider is how fast SageC was moving to catch the thing Garou threw. It wasn’t an orbital trajectory, but a completely vertical one. The escape velocity for earth is roughly 24,000 mph, so the object was traveling at least this fast, and SageC was traveling faster than it. Plus, given that Garou threw it, it’s safe to say that it was much faster than that. Not saying SageC > Orochi, just that SageC shouldn’t be underestimated

Great video, but one thing I disagree about. You had used Garou and Bang as a point of reference, by saying that the Bang who had no chance of beating Elder Centipede and was on par with Garou and using that to show Orochi's power, it got a bit messy. Personally, it comes down to the matchup. Simply because Bang could be on par with Garou when he couldn't beat elder centipede doesn't make EC stronger than Garou. Its simply because the fight with Garou was a field in which he specialized, and was not very useful against EC.
The biggest thing missing here is the fact that the Gaia cannon attack is orders of magnitude smaller then what was shown in that earth core pulling scene. I’m not sure exactly what the reason is, maybe it was condensed, or maybe it was not true measurement scaling and was just needed to show what was going on like the Gargoyle Garou scene where the impact crater was only multi mountain level and the result was only lifting up a very small island, but x ray earth view was like the size of a small planet and the curvature was clearly very off as we can see a handful of mountains taking up like a fourth of the planet’s curvature. But either way, it would blast through Sage, but Sage will just regen that area, because the attack was clearly too small to take out the entirety of Sage. It’s like shooting a 50 cal bullet at zombie man. Sure it will blast right through him with ease, but it’s too small an area to put him down Also, Genos and Awakened cockroach are not faster then light. We can clearly see in the anime the lasers are incredibly slow, and in both we can see it changes direction mid air. So although it has some properties of light, it also has different ones. Genos was also mainly just aim dodging the entire time, and we can see the laser sweeping from left to right toward Genos because we can see it cutting horizontally through the water tower to the right of him. Genos didn’t dodge a light beam going toward him directly, he was mostly just moving around as much as possible to avoid the beams. Awakened Cockroach stated he senses killing intent and dodges before the attack is launched. This means AC is not faster then light, he is saying he is faster then the reaction speed of Genos. For example, if I can sense that you are about to pull a gun on me and shoot, me dodging prior to you shooting does not make me faster then bullets, that makes me faster then you. This is why AC could not dodge Orochi’s horn, because Orochi’s reaction speed is faster then Awakened C’s travel speed, and the horn is capable of moving and changing directions mid air. It’s like if I can sense the killing intent that you will send a homing missile at me, I won’t be fast enough to escape it if it homes in on me. We also know that suppressing killing intent is a common ability in fiction. We already know Orochi can suppress his power hiding it from Pyschos. We can literally see the speed timer given to us for awake monster Garou that fought Flashy Flash, fighting the cadres, and his speed was about hypersonic. In the webcomic, a timer with a very similar speed was used for Flashy Flash, showing he was using flashy fist at about hypersonic speeds. When something reaches Hypersonic speeds, it combusts the air leaving a trail of glowing plasma, which is what gives those fast characters those iconic glows People will say that Flashy Flash was stated in a cover that he was faster then light, but there was clearly hyperbole as there also was a cover that said the atomic desciples are indomitable, which is obviously not the case. We are also about to see Sonic be relative to Flashy in the manga, and Sonic was about the same speed as Tatsumaki who at full power flew past B class heroes and they were able to react almost instantly. She was also obviously not fighting Saitama at the speed of light, because if they were, they would travel around the planet 7.5 times in one second, but we can see normal people reacting to their fight in the buildings, including king In fact, Genos after seeing the entire fight of Cosmic Garou and Saitama stated a possible reason Saitama went back in time was because he surpassed the speed of causation, which is the same thing as the speed of light, referencing the real scientific hypothesis that going faster then light reverses time. So Genos clearly doesn’t think he is faster then light if he thinks a possible reason Saitama went back in time was because he surpassed the speed of light
about the laser look slow part, you need to realize that cinematic timing is a factor here, the audience can see lasers move in anime doesn't make those lasers not light speed

If Genos was actually faster then light, that water and steam would have been so unbelievably slow it would have looked frozen it time. So this would actually support my argument that they went out of their way to show that these beams are not actually the speed of light. And again, we know they are not faster than light because we can see the steam and water moving at regular speeds just as fast as the lasers. Steam and water doesn’t move at the speed of light But even the lightspeed Flash vs Garou vs PS fight, we at first see them fighting in the sky while Saitama, King, and Genos are talking. Since we know for a fact King has normal human reaction time, we can know they were not going the speed of light because the conversation took about a dozen seconds to conclude, and light in one second could go around the planet 7.5 times. But even with the second one where PS and Garou sped up by like 10,000 times faster, we can see it is around the size of the hole left by the spear of light, which was about the same width as Sage. you can see half of Sage lands on a Nimitz class super carrier, which are around 1000 feet long. This means Sage is around 500 feet or 150 meters wide let’s see if this makes sense: chapter 156/ page 42 is one photo of Garou directly near Sage. Ch 157 pg 29 is both Metal bat and Garou, 158/4 is another, 159/7 is on his back, and 160/21 is pig god running on him. All these pictures show he is definitely around that length Using my simple measurement, Sage is wider then the Pyramid of Giza is tall. I think it makes sense Using a vs battle wiki pixel calc that concluded Sage was 1 fourth the width of my Everest by using horrible methods of the floor size Toreo was one, which is terrible because we know for a fact there are different floor sizes, or 2,315 meters wide, My measurement is 15 times smaller, so I divide their measurement by 15 to get a more accurate answer. They concluded their speed is at 4.33 C, so divide that by 15 to get a more accurate answer: .28 C. This makes sense as the Meteoric Burst Boros kick was calced to be around .44 C with confirmable distances and no crappy pixel maths. I think MB Boros then was above PS and that Garou, so it’s perfect. So to figure out the speed of Flashy flash, I divide .28 by 10,000, which gets me to Mach 45. This makes perfect sense with the timers given in the chapters of the manga and webcomic. Garou was literally running below Mach 1 when he initially sucker punched PS but sped up by like 50 times against ENW
Sage's reaction speed is far higher than orochi, who's just sub-relativistic to sub-relativistic+ best remade version, but his size makes sage cent vs orochi an oneside match
Tatsumaki brought a whole asteroid to kill God zilla, she could have do the same to sage centipede if she was in peak condition and could defeat orochi as well but psychorochi is a different strory because they are stronger combined and then tatsumaki also won but still i think she has a good chance to win against sage centipede. Evil natural water would be an issue tho
That meteorite is obviously not big enough for Sage. I personally think that it might be more difficult for Tats to defeat Sage than Psychorochi. sage's regeneration is underrated he just dies from plot armor.
@traw1369 It's difficult in my opinion. Sage centipede's defense is underestimated. I think if Garou hadn't been around, Sage and Ocean would have been even more unsolvable than Psychorochi. In my opinion, if Garou is not here, Sage and Ocean may be even more unsolvable than Psychorochi.
Monster garou was getting stronger over time and took plenty of punches from saitama. He’s at the same level as orochi at his fp if not slightly higher
We don't know much, but I assume it's maybe a clan of sorts? One Centipede (the first onw that showed up, junior Centipede) did remark there's kind of a society of them underground.

Orochi vs saitama isnt the last fight orochi has, after psycho orochi looses to tatsumaki and starts getting hunted by the other heroes she splits with orochi who at the time is a clumb of meat, that clumb of meat which should be far far below orochis base strength tanks an angels rush by puri puri prisoner and right after tanks the combined attack from bang and bomb from before they get tired which should mean that the completely destroyed orochi is still more durable than elder centipedes armour and then after that tatsumaki makes a massive spear of light cause she thinks nothing less would be enough for him (she should be able to sense his strength at this point so it should be about the minimum required for he to kil him)
I think it's fair to say Orochi is above Sage, but I very very adamantly believe that Platinum could defeat than orochi and psykorochi despite having lower destructive power
Tbh I don’t think silverfang is weaker than elder centipede, it’s just bad match up. Silverfang martial arts is redirecting attacks and sending them back, but you can’t really do that to a near impenetrable shield 50x your size hurling at you

God probably added evil natural ocean to the equation when believing they could rival saitama. That’s the only thing that makes sense or your gonna be thinking he’s above Psyrochi too when there’s no way lol. Sage centipede is probably relative to base orochi or maybe retconned released orochi. Not Gay ass shrimp orochi with that outlier ass feat tho

To be fair although I agree that orochi beats safe centipede and is very underrated. I wouldn’t say bang is weaker than centipede. Even phoenix’s man said bangs skills were exceptional but his hand to hand combat wasn’t enough to beat elder centipede. I think this is just showing that this was a bad match up, silver fang isn’t the destructive type and more of the skill, AP, speed, and durability type so his match up with a big ass centipedes with hard skin isn’t the same as others. You could also argue that awakened monster garou is stronger than elder centipede and bang was able to stand toe to toe with that garou.
It's debatable I would say, cuz Elder Centipede is a bad matchup for pretty much everybody. Very few characters have the scale and destructive capacity to kill Elder Centipede before it can regenerate.

Flashy flash was able to go toe to toe with a stronger monster garou and platinum sperm but wasn’t named as one of the one to beat elder centipede. The reason people like tatsu maki and blast are able to is because they have the most destructive out put and range to be able to destroy elder centipede. On contrary Bang only has the ap and skill output. Imo bang is overall more powerful that elder centipede but he doesn’t have the destructive capability to beat elder centipede because of his size.
Suppressed orochi was swag as hell. Definitely beats Sage Centipede. Orochi's true form is just stupid looking if you ask me, easily loses to Sage Centipede in drip competition.

Sage outstats orochi in everything minus energy, show me a panel where orochi even moved.. Sage kept up with Garou in at least 2 occasions and can even go to space if he stretches out enough. I think orochi>psychos orochi due to orochi being injured and psychos being weaker than orochi and getting amped and fused with dying orochi for psychos that power boost for psychos was insane but not orochi and he can adapt also psychos best feat is multi continental or continental level but orochi's is planet level
I think the two forms should actually complement each other. Psychorochi has more pure firepower but has a low combat IQ. Orochi is more balanced in terms of attributes. His gaia cannon may actually be more powerful, but it can only be used as a final means of attack.

Honestly, always thought Orochi was the strongest out of all the Monsters in OPM that we've seen, besides Garou and Boros. Would love to see you rank all the monsters in the series by power.
idk, Platinum S was pretty crazy, as well as Evil Natural Ocean. If Saitama had not dealt with the water monster, it could have easily been classified as God threat level and been above the abilities of any S class, except maybe Blast. I don't see Orochi being stronger than them.
I've never seen anybody argument against Orochi's scaling to Roach, it's pretty commonly accepted wherever I go. The only people I ever saw argument against it were having an agenda, clearly - they were trying to say Genos just can not be light speed for some reason... but in the recent chapters, he went toe to toe against Flashy Flash for a while, so I think even those people have got to finally accept the reality and concede this point. Orochi has a casual tag against a FTL character, even when attacking from a long distance, and without even LOOKING at the Roach lmao. xD So I'd say redraws or not, he is FLT+/MFTL. And also, I'm so glad somebody finally noticed that the VB calc only covers part of the feat for Orochi. Yes, if doesn't make any sense for Gaia Canon to be only planet level, if the strength of his mere physical strength he uses to gather the energy is already high end small planet level. Orochi is clearly intended to be planet level. Also, you forgot to mention the mental gap there. Orochi is supposed to be a genius and a martial artist on Garou's level too. That would factor in even if their stats would be a lot closer then they are.
Bruh Orochi's stats are low tier to deal with the centepede. Sage Centepede likely kills him before he takes the energy from the core of the earth. Base Orochi is nowhere near strong to break the armour of sage centede.
orochi couldve arguably be stronger than cosmic garou if he didnt fight saitama. he would have adapted all of cosmic garous techniques and would have had more power behind every attack
probably not? nuclear fission cant be replicated and gamma ray burst definitely couldnt be replicated, and i think those two abilities are enough to take care of orochi. he wouldnt have had time to pull out his gaia cannon and charge it before he gets a face full of nuclear fission fists, and even if we're generous and say he could, garou could absolutely dodge it and copy it too. besides, at this point in time, gargoyle garou already about matches (if we're being generous) orochi in overall striking strength and probably outspeeds as well, so i just highly doubt orochi would be able to take down a version of garou thats vastly above gargoyle.

I’ve been seeing some disagreements with the stuff I said regarding Sage’s statement about being sent by God to kill “the fist that has turned against God” and why I have problems with saying that would put him above Tatsumaki and Psyrochi, so I’ll clarify some things here.
This is a very long winded and complicated topic because we know very little about God currently. We don't know exactly how much God knows. There are a couple possible interpretations in my eyes:
1. God has been watching everything from the start of the series. He would have seen Boros and the Serious Punch that deflected the Roar Canon. I don't believe Sage scales to that at all. In this case, it would be way more consistent with the story and scaling for God to have lied to Sage about having to take down the fist that has turned against God and instead Sage's true purpose was to force Garou to grow into a better vessel for God later on or something. That's pretty much the only explanation I see that would make the statement from Sage consistent with the rest of the series.
2. God has been watching since Orochi's defeat. God's mural said "Our God shall resurrect onto this Earth when, on this altar, a worthy sacrifice is offered." Orochi technically died on that altar and the mural depicts him as a sacrifice for God. Also right after those pages, we get a panel that seems symbolic of God being summoned back into the Earth as we get a panel where the perspective of the shot makes it look like an eye opening up with the moon being the eye. From that point on we constantly see the moon looking over everything, as if it's watching the action go down. This I believe is the most likely point from which God started directly observing the battles going on, as a few chapters after the Orochi fight, God doesn't recognize Saitama when he and Flashy Flash stumble upon God's cube.
In this interpretation, God would have never seen Saitama's fight with Orochi. He wouldn't know exactly who the fist that has turned against God is and would likely just feel the presence of such a being in this dimension and be attracted to it, but not know who it is exactly or how strong the person is. I assume that to be the fist that has turned against God, one has to have removed their limiter. I don't really see any other reason. And we know Garou started breaking his limiter all the way back in spiral form. The limiter might also be different for each individual, so it's not really scalable where the baseline for "the fist that has turned against God" would be scaling-wise. Meaning it doesn't really scale anywhere.
God would later see Tatsumaki fighting Psyrochi and all of monster Garou's battles. But again, "the fist that has turned against God" may not necessarily scale to these characters, as Garou's limiter was starting to break when he was waaaayyyy weaker than these people. God wouldn't know how strong the fist that turned against God is in this interpretation and him sending Sage out to destroy this arbitrary unscalable entity doesn't really mean much. You could argue God thinks Sage is stronger than Psyrochi, but by the time he sends Sage out to destroy the fist that has turned against God, Tatsumaki is knocked out and Psyrochi is gone. Sage wouldn't have to face either one of them in a fight when he arrived, so God wouldn't be taking them into account.
In this interpretation, it is also must to mention the argument that God foresaw Orochi's defeat. But 1. We know for a fact he doesn't know who Orochi would lose to, since he did not recognize Saitama later. For all God knows, Tatsumaki could have been the one who beat Orochi and then he sent Sage out when she wasn't a factor anymore. And 2. You can't really prove God would know the exact strength level of Orochi. He could just know that there will be this Orochi guy at some point and he'll be his sacrifice and that's it. You can't prove he'd know exactly how strong Orochi is based on the prophesy alone.
All this to say: I personally don't think there's any definitive way to prove Sage scales above Orochi narratively.

Scaling is completly on point. Sage Centipede is just a huge destructive Machine, nothing more. WHile Orochi is a walking Genius Fighter and a Nuclear Bomb at the same time.
you forgot to mention orochi's skill level and adaption (it's arguably almost on garou's level) his regenration, his ability to absorb the life force of other beings to make himself stronger, and also gets stronger during each near death experience.
Adaptability on garou's level is a gamebreaker if the other enemy decides to fuck around and lengthen the fight

It's not really on Garou's level, it's a good amount lower. Orochi was said by psykos to be a weaker version of garou (in that category). It still copied Garou's fighting style and would be a force to be reckoned with, but his adaptation is lower

This is because despite being outclassed by all the cadre at the beginning of the day, by the end of the day, monster garou was probably one of the strongest combatants there. I doubt that it would take as long as it did for orochi to become as powerful as he is if he was garou level.

Yeah, this is pretty onesided even when ignoring Orochi’s martial arts and ability to absorb creatures on a cellular level.
Just to clarify, I don't think Sage is weak, he's still a high tier in the verse and I believe only a handfull of characters could actually beat him. But I also happen to think Orochi is one of those handfull.
To be honest I wish Sage was stronger than he is. Man's got one of the coolest character designs in the series and the concept of Elder Cenipede having a boss is hype. I was just dissapointed with the execution.

The issue with Sage centipede is that his chapters were rushed as hell, just meant to show case Garou. How did Sage Centipede get to the atmosphere in no time but could be seen by humans. I really dislke how dirty he platinum s and Evil Ocean Water were done just to overplay Garou

When you mentioned the scene where all the heroes wanted Garou d3ad, i felt goosebumps just remembering it. It was such a BEAUTIFUL scene. The moment Tareo rushed to the scene, begged everyone, and said "aren't you all heroes??!" it made me cry. It was simple but a powerful and emotional scene.
The manga had so much unnecessary scenes. It's like using all the toppings on an ice cream and make it so sweet it gives you type 2 diabetes. And worse, there are plenty of plot holes and deus ex machina. The manga scene where Tareo wanted to save Garou cant even come close to the webcomic version. I also hate the plothole of when Saitama punched Garou, everyone couldn't see it, but BS could. And when Bang rehabilitated Garou immediately in the next chapter, it was so dumb. Everything felt rushed and lazy in the manga version. And all of it for what? Just to showcase the powers and abilities, at the cost plot logic and simple yet powerful storytelling

Great video, the segment clowning on Sage’s speed was great since I always wondered why people scale Sage’s speed to Garou’s despite the fact that normal humans could perceive them fighting. One thing I wanted to bring up is it’s very likely that God did not witness Saitama’s fight with Boros since Saitama jumping off the moon is what’s implied to have either woken up God or just have made him aware of Saitama, so he most likely didn’t see most of, if any of the fight.
God was awake atleast 17 years before that fight because he tried to gave power to Blast in his fight against Elder centipide
??? God literally appeared 2 years before when Blast almost killed Elder Centipede. He probably existed decades ago considering how Blast was carrying those cubes in Tatsumaki's flashback. So he definitely was around way before Boros came to earth.

This is emphasized by the fact that despite the fact that Saitama removed his limiter, God didn’t start doing anything about it till post Boros fight, implying he wasn’t aware of Saitama till after the moon jump.

I think when it comes to speed, SageC size makes the speed appear slower and easier to track. The difference of scale compared to Garou is akin to a house fly next to a 18 wheeler. The latter at 100 mph is easy to see and track while the former would be virtually impossible.
Another thing to consider is how fast SageC was moving to catch the thing Garou threw. It wasn’t an orbital trajectory, but a completely vertical one. The escape velocity for earth is roughly 24,000 mph, so the object was traveling at least this fast, and SageC was traveling faster than it. Plus, given that Garou threw it, it’s safe to say that it was much faster than that.
Not saying SageC > Orochi, just that SageC shouldn’t be underestimated

Great video, but one thing I disagree about. You had used Garou and Bang as a point of reference, by saying that the Bang who had no chance of beating Elder Centipede and was on par with Garou and using that to show Orochi's power, it got a bit messy. Personally, it comes down to the matchup. Simply because Bang could be on par with Garou when he couldn't beat elder centipede doesn't make EC stronger than Garou. Its simply because the fight with Garou was a field in which he specialized, and was not very useful against EC.
Okay, but can you name anyone weaker than Bang or the Garou that fought him who could kill EC? I personally think not.
The biggest thing missing here is the fact that the Gaia cannon attack is orders of magnitude smaller then what was shown in that earth core pulling scene.
I’m not sure exactly what the reason is, maybe it was condensed, or maybe it was not true measurement scaling and was just needed to show what was going on like the Gargoyle Garou scene where the impact crater was only multi mountain level and the result was only lifting up a very small island, but x ray earth view was like the size of a small planet and the curvature was clearly very off as we can see a handful of mountains taking up like a fourth of the planet’s curvature.
But either way, it would blast through Sage, but Sage will just regen that area, because the attack was clearly too small to take out the entirety of Sage. It’s like shooting a 50 cal bullet at zombie man. Sure it will blast right through him with ease, but it’s too small an area to put him down
Also, Genos and Awakened cockroach are not faster then light. We can clearly see in the anime the lasers are incredibly slow, and in both we can see it changes direction mid air. So although it has some properties of light, it also has different ones. Genos was also mainly just aim dodging the entire time, and we can see the laser sweeping from left to right toward Genos because we can see it cutting horizontally through the water tower to the right of him. Genos didn’t dodge a light beam going toward him directly, he was mostly just moving around as much as possible to avoid the beams.
Awakened Cockroach stated he senses killing intent and dodges before the attack is launched. This means AC is not faster then light, he is saying he is faster then the reaction speed of Genos. For example, if I can sense that you are about to pull a gun on me and shoot, me dodging prior to you shooting does not make me faster then bullets, that makes me faster then you.
This is why AC could not dodge Orochi’s horn, because Orochi’s reaction speed is faster then Awakened C’s travel speed, and the horn is capable of moving and changing directions mid air. It’s like if I can sense the killing intent that you will send a homing missile at me, I won’t be fast enough to escape it if it homes in on me. We also know that suppressing killing intent is a common ability in fiction. We already know Orochi can suppress his power hiding it from Pyschos.
We can literally see the speed timer given to us for awake monster Garou that fought Flashy Flash, fighting the cadres, and his speed was about hypersonic. In the webcomic, a timer with a very similar speed was used for Flashy Flash, showing he was using flashy fist at about hypersonic speeds. When something reaches Hypersonic speeds, it combusts the air leaving a trail of glowing plasma, which is what gives those fast characters those iconic glows
People will say that Flashy Flash was stated in a cover that he was faster then light, but there was clearly hyperbole as there also was a cover that said the atomic desciples are indomitable, which is obviously not the case. We are also about to see Sonic be relative to Flashy in the manga, and Sonic was about the same speed as Tatsumaki who at full power flew past B class heroes and they were able to react almost instantly.
She was also obviously not fighting Saitama at the speed of light, because if they were, they would travel around the planet 7.5 times in one second, but we can see normal people reacting to their fight in the buildings, including king
In fact, Genos after seeing the entire fight of Cosmic Garou and Saitama stated a possible reason Saitama went back in time was because he surpassed the speed of causation, which is the same thing as the speed of light, referencing the real scientific hypothesis that going faster then light reverses time. So Genos clearly doesn’t think he is faster then light if he thinks a possible reason Saitama went back in time was because he surpassed the speed of light
about the laser look slow part, you need to realize that cinematic timing is a factor here, the audience can see lasers move in anime doesn't make those lasers not light speed

If Genos was actually faster then light, that water and steam would have been so unbelievably slow it would have looked frozen it time. So this would actually support my argument that they went out of their way to show that these beams are not actually the speed of light. And again, we know they are not faster than light because we can see the steam and water moving at regular speeds just as fast as the lasers. Steam and water doesn’t move at the speed of light
But even the lightspeed Flash vs Garou vs PS fight, we at first see them fighting in the sky while Saitama, King, and Genos are talking. Since we know for a fact King has normal human reaction time, we can know they were not going the speed of light because the conversation took about a dozen seconds to conclude, and light in one second could go around the planet 7.5 times.
But even with the second one where PS and Garou sped up by like 10,000 times faster, we can see it is around the size of the hole left by the spear of light, which was about the same width as Sage.
you can see half of Sage lands on a Nimitz class super carrier, which are around 1000 feet long. This means Sage is around 500 feet or 150 meters wide
let’s see if this makes sense: chapter 156/ page 42 is one photo of Garou directly near Sage. Ch 157 pg 29 is both Metal bat and Garou, 158/4 is another, 159/7 is on his back, and 160/21 is pig god running on him. All these pictures show he is definitely around that length
Using my simple measurement, Sage is wider then the Pyramid of Giza is tall. I think it makes sense
Using a vs battle wiki pixel calc that concluded Sage was 1 fourth the width of my Everest by using horrible methods of the floor size Toreo was one, which is terrible because we know for a fact there are different floor sizes, or 2,315 meters wide, My measurement is 15 times smaller, so I divide their measurement by 15 to get a more accurate answer. They concluded their speed is at 4.33 C, so divide that by 15 to get a more accurate answer: .28 C.
This makes sense as the Meteoric Burst Boros kick was calced to be around .44 C with confirmable distances and no crappy pixel maths. I think MB Boros then was above PS and that Garou, so it’s perfect.
So to figure out the speed of Flashy flash, I divide .28 by 10,000, which gets me to Mach 45. This makes perfect sense with the timers given in the chapters of the manga and webcomic. Garou was literally running below Mach 1 when he initially sucker punched PS but sped up by like 50 times against ENW

Tatsumaki brought a whole asteroid to kill God zilla, she could have do the same to sage centipede if she was in peak condition and could defeat orochi as well but psychorochi is a different strory because they are stronger combined and then tatsumaki also won but still i think she has a good chance to win against sage centipede. Orochi vs saitama isnt the last fight orochi has, after psycho orochi looses to tatsumaki and starts getting hunted by the other heroes she splits with orochi who at the time is a clumb of meat, that clumb of meat which should be far far below orochis base strength tanks an angels rush by puri puri prisoner and right after tanks the combined attack from bang and bomb from before they get tired which should mean that the completely destroyed orochi is still more durable than elder centipedes armour and then after that tatsumaki makes a massive spear of light cause she thinks nothing less would be enough for him (she should be able to sense his strength at this point so it should be about the minimum required for he to kil him)

Orochi is my favorite character and since Sage Centipede was sacrificed by him, I also like it very much.
To be fair although I agree that orochi beats safe centipede and is very underrated. I wouldn’t say bang is weaker than centipede. Even phoenix’s man said bangs skills were exceptional but his hand to hand combat wasn’t enough to beat elder centipede. I think this is just showing that this was a bad match up, silver fang isn’t the destructive type and more of the skill, AP, speed, and durability type so his match up with a big ass centipedes with hard skin isn’t the same as others. You could also argue that awakened monster garou is stronger than elder centipede and bang was able to stand toe to toe with that garou.
It's debatable I would say, cuz Elder Centipede is a bad matchup for pretty much everybody. Very few characters have the scale and destructive capacity to kill Elder Centipede before it can regenerate.

Flashy flash was able to go toe to toe with a stronger monster garou and platinum sperm but wasn’t named as one of the one to beat elder centipede. The reason people like tatsu maki and blast are able to is because they have the most destructive out put and range to be able to destroy elder centipede. On contrary Bang only has the ap and skill output. Imo bang is overall more powerful that elder centipede but he doesn’t have the destructive capability to beat elder centipede because of his size.

I think orochi>psychos orochi due to orochi being injured and psychos being weaker than orochi and getting amped and fused with dying orochi for psychos that power boost for psychos was insane but not orochi and he can adapt also psychos best feat is multi continental or continental level but orochi's is planet level
I think the two forms should actually complement each other. Psychorochi has more pure firepower but has a low combat IQ. Orochi is more balanced in terms of attributes. His gaia cannon may actually be more powerful, but it can only be used as a final means of attack.

idk, Platinum S was pretty crazy, as well as Evil Natural Ocean. If Saitama had not dealt with the water monster, it could have easily been classified as God threat level and been above the abilities of any S class, except maybe Blast. I don't see Orochi being stronger than them.

I've never seen anybody argument against Orochi's scaling to Roach, it's pretty commonly accepted wherever I go. The only people I ever saw argument against it were having an agenda, clearly - they were trying to say Genos just can not be light speed for some reason... but in the recent chapters, he went toe to toe against Flashy Flash for a while, so I think even those people have got to finally accept the reality and concede this point. Orochi has a casual tag against a FTL character, even when attacking from a long distance, and without even LOOKING at the Roach lmao. xD So I'd say redraws or not, he is FLT+/MFTL. And also, I'm so glad somebody finally noticed that the VB calc only covers part of the feat for Orochi. Yes, if doesn't make any sense for Gaia Canon to be only planet level, if the strength of his mere physical strength he uses to gather the energy is already high end small planet level. Orochi is clearly intended to be planet level. Also, you forgot to mention the mental gap there. Orochi is supposed to be a genius and a martial artist on Garou's level too. That would factor in even if their stats would be a lot closer then they are.

orochi couldve arguably be stronger than cosmic garou if he didnt fight saitama. he would have adapted all of cosmic garous techniques and would have had more power behind every attack
probably not? nuclear fission cant be replicated and gamma ray burst definitely couldnt be replicated, and i think those two abilities are enough to take care of orochi. he wouldnt have had time to pull out his gaia cannon and charge it before he gets a face full of nuclear fission fists, and even if we're generous and say he could, garou could absolutely dodge it and copy it too. besides, at this point in time, gargoyle garou already about matches (if we're being generous) orochi in overall striking strength and probably outspeeds as well, so i just highly doubt orochi would be able to take down a version of garou thats vastly above gargoyle.
