Chara is a mysterious character, but I'm still a fan of the narrator theory. I see why people blame them, I just don't view those as valid reasons.
I first heard this song at the end of Mithzan's genocide run and it absolutely blew me away. When I heard it, I wasn't that into Undertale, I was only interested in watching genocide runs because I wasn't invested in the story or the characters but this one song changed that entirely. I was so enraptured by this song that I decided to give the entire game a chance and it couldn't have made my life any better. Because of this game and this song, I've grown exponentially closer to one of my best friends and I've gained another game to hold on to in my life. I know this song is nearly 4 years old but I still wanted to take the time to thank you Adriana, from the bottom of my heart. Your decision to create lyrics and add vocals to this song has not only brought me closer to one of the people I love the most, but it has also changed and saved my life.
It's 3 years 2 months and 4 days since she uploaded the video.
Slowing the song down really made it shine. I love it Adri!

Here's a different take on Undertale's "Megalovania" than what you've probably been used to hearing - I heard this haunting piano arrangement by ChrystalChameleon a while back and couldn't resist reaching out and asking if I could add vocals and lyrics to it! I did Genocide purely out of anger, because I fucked up the Pacifist run six hours in. And when I finally did it, when I finally beat Sans... oh my God, I was happy. I was so happy to kill my friend.

I should have given up.
And now I've unleashed pure hell on these completely fictional characters.
I feel terrible. I didn't do the Pacifist run first, so now there's no chance of them ever being able to truly experience the world, even if they wouldn't remember it either way. In my own game, the only ending I can have now, no matter what I do, no matter how I try, will lead to the destruction of the ones I love.

The other thing that bothered me, though, was that during my own Pacifist run, I promised to the monsters in the Waterfall that someday I'd show them the real stars... but I still haven't followed through on it. And now, I'm not sure I ever will, unless I figure a way out to cheat the game.

Here’s something you might not have known.
In the Pacifist/Neutral route, when Sans winks, he closes his glowing eye (well. The eye that glows in the genocide route). But on the genocide route, he winks the opposite eye. The eye that doesn’t glow
Theory 1: Sans winks with his powerful eye in the Pacifist route because he knows you won’t kill anyone. However, in the genocide route, he knows you’ll try to kill him, so he leaves that eye open. His powerful eye so it’s always gazing on you
Theory 2: Sans’ eye could potentially help him dodge your attacks. Think about it, Sans is the only one who can dodge. And your question may be “In the genocide route, Undynes eye glows too, why can’t she dodge?” Well. Undyne has an eyepatch. She can’t actively see out of that eye, so although her eye glows, the eyepatch covers it so there’s no way she could see through it. Sans however, doesn’t have anything covering his eye. So he doesn’t wink with that eye so in case you go to hit him, he can dodge.
In the end, this is just a theory I made out of Sans’ eyes. It would explain why he changes which eye he winks depending on which route, but this is just speculation. Feel free to commentate on this
Edit: I’m aware that Asgore and Mettaton NEO have glowing eyes as well, but Asgore hates his life and the actions he’s caused. So he wouldn’t even try to dodge. And for Mettaton NEO, Mettaton knew from the beginning he couldn’t beat you. So he doesn’t dodge either because he wanted to die looking beautiful. Mettaton would rather die in his beautiful form than only live a few attacks in his normal form. So he wouldn’t dodge either (Mettaton EX also has the glowing eye, but it’s hidden in his hair so he wouldn’t be able to dodge any attacks either)

You know how the more damage you do in undertale equates to how much you want to harm (according to undertale lore, that is). Maybe the reason he deals damage so fast but only 1 at a time is because he knows he has to kill you but in his heart he truly doesn't want to have to hurt you and the only way to make up for the 1 damage is attacking fast.

This is so hauntingly beautiful and sad. I love the ethereal "oohs" at the beginning and at 2:19, almost like the souls of those the player murdered are wailing and crying out for vengeance. Super clever too how you mixed the melody from "Home" in the end there too, it's so sad because Toriel really tried to get Frisk (or more accurately the player) to be good, to be Pacifist, and you trampled on her dreams.
