Today Schony747 features the last Locomotive Hauled Passenger Train arrival into Southern Cross Station Melbourne from Albury. It's a piece of history as locomotive hauled passenger trains have featured on the Albury service for well over 100 years,
A few days later 9 of the standard gauge passenger cars that hauled the Albury service were towed from Seymour Railway Station to Albury Railway Station. The standard gauge N set passenger cars were going into storage at The Ettamogah Rail Hub. After the video was edited, it was reported that 707 operations, Steamrail Victoria & Seymour Railway Heritage Centre would be the recipients of the standard gauge passenger cars.
Enjoy this piece of history. Have a great week - Brenden S.
