      Cool, I would love to hear how it goes. I think it really lets the poacher practice seeing the ball come off the opponents racquet and just getting used to poaching.

    And when exactly is a deep volley better than a short one, not too often. - And your "favourite dril"l which is basically just gals having fun on the court gets half of the coverage. Lol

      That's a good point, a deep volley is not necessarily a good thing! Would rather hit short and make my opponent hit up to me. I think the idea behind the deep volley is just ball control. But my favorite drill is not the one with the "gals having fun", but the poaching drill, to help the net player 1) read the ball coming off the opponents racquet, and 2) close on the net when my partner is forcing the opponent to hit up on the ball. In my opinion, that skill is worth a million bucks.
