    Just replaced the rollers sliders and belt on mine today, I only use genuine Suzuki rollers and sliders, I always use thread lock on the variator and clutch threads before I torque them, for peace of mind 🙂

    To take the cover off you put two 8mm bolts in those rear cover holes and you then tighten them you easily jack the cover apart. You dont hit them with a hammer. :-)

      the problem is not all can learn by reading and seeing picture 10.4 on page 57 , then read page 45 and see picture 9.6 on sub section 3
      i learn visually and try to show people watching a way they can see and copy , its not always spec but works and easy to understand

Now I'm getting the suzuki uh200 burgman next week, can I ask if any of your followers have any recommendations for the best weight rollers that they have used or do you have any recommendations Mark? hi bud and thanks for watching as for rollers its so hard to get the right weight as they say from 10.5g to 13g some even use 20g but I wouldn't lol
      maybe ask at your local Suzuki dealer and then but from e bay if they work out more money.
      hopefully my last video will help you to get the cover & variator off.
      bulk buying ,its a must and there's more coming today , oh she wont be happy pmsl

    Don't you have a compressor? You can get some good deals on that as well sometimes. I got mine, (50L) and an impact wrench for about 100 euro.

    • @marksavage
      @marksavage  4 года назад

      I do have a massive compressor however it wont take of the locking nut of the the variator system as it would just spin the engine over, but worth a thought
      thanks for watching bud

    • @ErwinHolland.
      @ErwinHolland. 4 года назад +1

      @@marksavage No, an impact will just loosen them, believe me. It's what they do in garages. It's kind of the correct way.
      It doesn't spin the engine, because it's an impact wrench. It only slams the bolt loose, there is pretty much no turning force.
      I have done about 30 at home (for friends) at this point.
      Try it! Guaranteed, bolt will be off in about 30 seconds.
      Clutch is the same story.

      Try a larger diameter Hose from compressor to tool, small diameter hoses throttle the delivery rate and limit the output. Cheaper than a new compressor.
