  • This is an updated tutorial for a Pop Up Place Card that I did a couple of years ago. This quick and easy project uses a free SVG that I've linked below. We will be using Snap to Guides found in the Designer, Designer Plus, and Business Edition of Silhouette Studio. We will also use "break path" and "release compound path" functions in Silhouette Studio.

So glad I found this! I make these but this is a much easier and more accurate way.

Wonderful! The same technique can be used with many different cut files or images. I'm so glad it was helpful Susan. Thanks for watching!

Very helpful thanks- how would you make this as a file to sell? I’m doing a similar fold cut but figuring out how to make a file to sell

I would use the Business Edition to save it as an SVG. Take good photos of a completed project. There is much that goes beyond the scope of the video for selling. Glad the video was helpful and thanks for watching!
