hahah I don't really focus on the battle part of the game. at least not this late game. I want to put as little effort as possible on that, especially dead bodies lol
As another said here, you make the Charcoal clins too late. I run a +900 people region and i have a surplus of coal around 1500-2000 with just two charcoal clins.
Does it really matter when you place them down? 🤔 And is that point really worth it, I mean, all other regions do fine without it. It's not hard to have enough firewood for a city of 600-800. Maybe over 1000 ? 🤔
@@GamingNorse Charcoal is more efficient, you get 2 for one wood. So you multiply your fuel without cutting too many trees. Trees that are more valuable if keep them for logs. The sooner you make charcoal clins, the sooner you will be fuel efficient. And if you make too many and you think you don t need them you can always sell them for cash. And the price is better than firewood, so is win-win from all the aspects. Especially in regions with deep deposits that you going to unlock the deep mine is a no brainer to make charcoal as soon as you unlock it in tech tree. Also something irrelevant. If you want to make a bigger palisade for the keep without use of outer towers, you can drag the two buildings(before you press commit), tax office and guard tower, away from the main keep. That way you can expand a little further the "lighted" space that you can built the palisade around the keep. It doesn't make any difference for the gameplay, just for the looks if you wanna make a bigger castle somewhere without spend extra resources for outside towers.
that is a lot of houses ,it is really hard to maintain 4 types of food when your population is over 500. eventually all your foods will run out. i think you should start considering backyard farm style to maximize yield, that long line backyard farm is a waste in my opinion, can't support that much population also making productivity low due to multitasking cause youre making alot of farm.. charcoal is negative because you built them late if you build coal when your pop is just 50-100 you will never get 99% below in market trust me charcoal is not useless I always use my 1st dev point to coal. coal became my fav building when I started playing challenging mode and hardest difficulty settings. try to maintain 30-50 houses per region and maximize lvl 3 houses.
I love that you can play this game in so many different style and still be successful! It really makes each playthrough unique! I never touched the charcole on any on my hard lets play series, either on "restoring the peace" or "always ready", and still managed to win fairly easy! Thanks for the tips and pointers 🙏
Planning where to put the corpses, before you do the killing, with no regards to civilians, is quite sinister.
Also you need apples for the pigs.
