    So your current non leather gloves podium (suggestion 😊) is Fly, a tie in the 2nd place between Everlast and Hayabusa, and only then Rival...
    And BTW congratulations for your great, great channel 👍👍👍

    What other gloves protect the fist and disperse the impact like these gloves with a velcronstrap?
    I have a prior model of kanpeki which is like these t3 with leather . I use 16 oz and they really feel great while pinching hard and heavy. Mine actually has a lace and a Velcro strap . I don’t think I need the wrist support as much as I’d need a glove to take the impact as well as these. I have some fairtex “heavy hitter” Mexican style gloves and obviously those aren’t as good for very heavy shots .
    I’m not very big so I wonder what gloves would wrap around my wrists well in 16 oz. Iv been thinking of getting these newer t3s but don’t know for sure what other glove feels like they do. I really have no complaint whatsoever about the feel of impact. They do get pretty hot though, I tried the double Velcro version first and remember it being almost distractingly stiff and odd to strap on my second glove once I had the first one on.
    I had an exchange due to a deformed glove and they accidentally sent me the lace/Velcro version. Too bad they don’t make that one anymore

    I have the lx in 12oz and 16oz, the 12s make a good bag glove but I hate the 16s both 1/2 oz underweight btw.

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  3 года назад +1

      Yes the 16s are small in size
      and with that Velcro arrangement
      they should be around 17oz
      because as it stands because they weigh 16 or just under with the Velcro’s, actually with the Velcro’s you are probably looking at a 14.5 15oz small sized glove to spar in which isn’t great

    Great channel, I love your reviews..
    Maybe you can help me also, I’m relatively new to boxing and now is time to buy some 16oz gloves for sparring but also for heavy bag sometimes(I have some cheap everlast 12oz that I bought when I started to train)..
    I decided to buy some good gloves, I thought about Cleto Reyes but watching reviews I’m not sure are they good for beginner? I want some tight,comfortable gloves for start and I have relatively small hands, but I use hand wraps..
    What gloves would you recommend? My budget is up to 250€?
    I watched this Hayabusa t3,Rival RS11V,Fairtex BGV9,Fly Superloop 2x(they are my favorites now but can’t find 16oz)etc..
    But I’m rookie, I don’t know what is good for me, I would prefer genuine leather and durable gloves that are also good for beginner(I train boxing for around 1year till now)..
    Thanks in advance

    How does the Wrist System compare to the ONX X Factor gloves?

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  3 года назад +1

      I only ever had the onx xfactor lace not the Velcro the wrist on the lace was excellent but a lots more hassle than Velcro to put on
      As you had to pull them tight right at the top of the laces to get a really proper fit
      Even with the two Velcro are way easier to put on

    I owned a pair of T3 gloves. They were pretty good gloves, but a little overrated. They took to long to soften after using them on bag work. The gloves are very hard to put on, too hot, and you really can’t parry with them. I did like the suede thumb on the T3s. The wrist support is great, but I prefer Fly’s long Velcro strap for support,. Great review overall.

    Hey Simon,
    I agree with your assessment- the stitching is overkill
    The non punisher versions are ok for the money I’d say.
    There a good all around glove. Recently I read an article stating the density of the foam in the hayabusas makes them too hard for sparring. I’ve been hit by them and they do sting more than the average glove. I would say there better for mitts, bag work etc. rather than trading blows to the head. Someone could get a cheap knock off of winning like the ring to cage c17 that’s healthier for their partners.
    Do you think there’s any merit to this analysis?
    I know some people swear by hayabusa and may have steam coming out of their ears reading this but this is my experience.

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  2 года назад +2

      No I agree and my scoring reflects that
      Sparring 91
      Bag 96
      I think after a good few rounds on the bag they will soften but I think we are in agreement
      The wrist support is very good but I was expecting a better glove if I’m honest they are a stiff fixed glove

    • @TimChristenson1
      @TimChristenson1 2 года назад

      Ahh I see the spar score. So not just a score for how it feels when you spar with them on but overall view as in factoring in the opponent/partner or in many cases - friend. Got it, thanks Simon

      I disagree, firmer foam feels harder. But softer foam allows the knuckles to go more through. Thats what my coach said atleast

      Ring to Cage C17 lover here. Use Fairtex gloves for my bag work because I like how responsive they are but I’m going on 2 years with my C17’s using them only for sparring and I will probably get another when I’m done with these unless I’m wildly successful and can afford Winning
