talking about jack ketchum in a kirby sweater is exactly what we need lol but this is a very informative video. i never read him but of course i always heard about how messed up his books are. have you ever read weed species from him? its another based on true events that actually took place in my country

Gaming is my other passion, so I have to mix it in once in a while! Never heard of that book from him, actually. Is it written under a different name?

@@littlelibraryofhorrors awesome yeah thats my main thing mostly and kirby is a great series. i just started to get back into reading almost 2 years ago and its been nice.

@BioPhoenixReviews I was checking out your channel, and I'm planning on watching the "games received poorly" video. I saw Lair as the thumbnail, and I couldn't agree more! I got it on release day, and I REALLY wanted to love it, but the motion controls butchered the experience. Would love to see it get remade!
It must be because I don't even see it in his bibliography. I'll have to do some research on that.

@@littlelibraryofhorrors i appreciate that. take your time as iv been doing youtube for a long time so there is a lot but they are not going anywhere.
getting lair at full price must have stung a little lol but yeah i agree that game could have been awesome and even a good spiritual successor to panzer dragoon.

I really like your channels name and think it's very unique especially because I really like little shop of horrors and old black and white shows

Aww, thanks! I appreciate that very much! It's the title of a short story collection I'm writing, and I thought, "Huh, that makes a great handle for social media." And, here we are! Lol.

Was Red made into a movie? Coz it reminds me of the movie with Brian Cox where his dog...passes.
I did have Off Season but I have searched my bookcases thoroughly and cant find it 😢 I'm devastated.
    Enjoyed watching your video btw

Yes! It was made it into a movie.
Sorry to hear about your copy, but it's still fairly cheap and easy to find online. It's worth grabbing a copy if you haven't had a chance to read it.
Thank you so much for watching! It means a lot.

@littlelibraryofhorrors yes! I had a feeling it was. Man that movie made me cry haha I might check out the book for comparison.
Yes I moved house about a year ago and some of my books, my Goosebumps haunted mask, my Godzilla figures and a few other things went missing so I've been pretty sad. Apparently the Jack Ketchum books were among the ones missing :(
I will have to track them down again if, as you say, they are still cheap it'd be worth it

Finally have Off Season. It's on my TBR for next year. Have heard about the Girl Next Door as being very disturbing. Any others? Is Offspring related to Off Season?

Yes, Offspring is the sequel to Off Season, and then there's a third, The Woman. I'd honestly recommend any of his work. He's got a brilliant voice and he understands people very, very well.

Two novels of his that I really enjoyed were Joyride (the UK title is "Roadkill") and The Lost.
