I remember it took me around 1.5hrs to do the whole car in n out, but as I just implied, I did try my best to work with what I have but you wouldn't see me getting on my knees to each little cravice and using a toothbrush and special soaps to each inch of the car, I assume that if I did it would have taken me well around 8hrs. And yet you did 2 cars FULL deep cleaning to the last detail as a brand new baby and only took you around 3hrs each. I take my hat off for you sir.
The price detailers charge is crazy! You could buy a jet washer, brushes, lots of microfiber clothes, dual action polisher, lots of polish pads, clay bar, compound, polish, wax and lots of other stuff for the price they charge. Do it yourself, it's really not difficult to get amazing results. Just watch a couple of youtube videos.
Youre absolutely right. But something I've learned in life when it comes to lawn mowing, home cleaning, car washing, or even having a laundromat do your own laundry and fold it for you. At the end of the day it's what you value your time. When I was younger, I'd mow my own lawn, do my own trimming. But as I get older and have more responsibilities, and thankfully I have a job that allows me to spend money on services, I can now spend time with my family, because that's what I WANT to do. Im happy to pay the lawn guy my 100 bucks to knock out the front and back lawn for me while I sleep in and have a late breakfast while playing my PC games. I still wash my own car and do my own chores around the house because I personally want to and enjoy it. I used to think it was weird when someone hires a maid to clean their home. But after seeing how complicated life can get with time management, sometimes, for the client, spending the money to have someone else does it is worth it
It’s very doable with experience and having a good work system. If you’re bouncing through the car to get everything done instead of going side by side you would be way faster. In my case, do interiors starting on the passenger front side moving my way around until I get to the drivers side, by the time I’m at the drivers side im pretty much done. It’s good to set up a system to be faster and more efficient. Always working with excellence.
