I did this during covid but we detailed cars in more upscale neighborhoods where everyone drove nicer cars like Mercedes, Lexus etc those kind of people who are able to afford $200+ we started out with a cheap kit from Amazon but eventually got a used powerwasher with the foam gun and much better interior products it used to takes us 3 hours to clean a suburban size vehicle but we'd do a high end type job we even had the whole carpet shampoo/vacuum . The guy in this video could've done a bit better for his prices bit who am I to say I myself couldn't charge like that and not at least do better on the exterior ....that's barely any soap on the car

I remember it took me around 1.5hrs to do the whole car in n out, but as I just implied, I did try my best to work with what I have but you wouldn't see me getting on my knees to each little cravice and using a toothbrush and special soaps to each inch of the car, I assume that if I did it would have taken me well around 8hrs. And yet you did 2 cars FULL deep cleaning to the last detail as a brand new baby and only took you around 3hrs each. I take my hat off for you sir.

Youre absolutely right. But something I've learned in life when it comes to lawn mowing, home cleaning, car washing, or even having a laundromat do your own laundry and fold it for you.
At the end of the day it's what you value your time. When I was younger, I'd mow my own lawn, do my own trimming. But as I get older and have more responsibilities, and thankfully I have a job that allows me to spend money on services, I can now spend time with my family, because that's what I WANT to do.
Im happy to pay the lawn guy my 100 bucks to knock out the front and back lawn for me while I sleep in and have a late breakfast while playing my PC games.
I still wash my own car and do my own chores around the house because I personally want to and enjoy it. I used to think it was weird when someone hires a maid to clean their home. But after seeing how complicated life can get with time management, sometimes, for the client, spending the money to have someone else does it is worth it

In my case, do interiors starting on the passenger front side moving my way around until I get to the drivers side, by the time I’m at the drivers side im pretty much done. It’s good to set up a system to be faster and more efficient. Always working with excellence.

Its crazy to me how youre doing a paint sealant for your ultimate detail but you’re not decontaminating the paint before applying the sealant? You’re just throwing it over contaminated paint? Which will make the sealant last waaay less. Im basing this over your comment about the tar and how you upsold the paint decontamination. Which paint decontamination is pretty much do a chemical decontamination with iron remover followed by a mechanical decontamination with a clay bar. Hope you’re doing things right and not just making car looking clean when they’re technically not.

The only thing I hate about some detailers is they think having a glossy/shiny finish is a good result, when really I want it to look like I just bought it the vehicle on day 1. The telltale is usually in the steering wheel. I'm not saying that IS the case here, but it sure looks like it. I fired my detailer for giving me a glossy interior. Did everything myself to remove all the gloss/shine and return it to stock matte that feels and looks and smells cleaner. Much happier having fired him!

That’s impressive, a full detail in 4 hours. Our shop with two guys on one vehicle will take about 4-6hrs. Are you polishing the vehicles? I’m not hating, I also know you are doing mobile as well which I charge more for.

Theres no way fully detailing a car take 3-4 hours. Vacuum and shampooing carpets to headliner is a full day, not to mention car seat covers etc. Waxing is 2 hours, tires is 1 hour. To fully detail a car and engine takes 2 full weekends + for washing machine a drying. No way.
