I wanted to say I took your advice on a maxi coat and found an absolutely beautiful black maxi on Amazon and it is most flattering on my petite frame, just as you suggested! Thank you.
I like to wear tights that match my ankle boots when wearing them with skirts and dresses (ideally, they’ll match the skirt, too, at least in intensity/depth of color).
Great information Chi! I have quite a few pair of ankle boots. I struggle with knee high or over the knee boots because I have very muscular lower leg muscles. I have a hard time zipping a fitted boot over my calf muscles. I will continue looking for options that fit and are not too slouchy to add extra volume to my lower legs.
Your fashion has leveled up a lot since you started the channel. Would love to see petite recommendations from high end brands like the ones on Farfetch as well!
Nice video and suggestions. It is very important knolage to know how to dress your height, to create balance in your body so the outfit will be flattering on us and we feel confident and empower!
I loved my black OTK suede boots so much that I got a similar pair in light taupe, too. These are even better for the lighter colors in my wardrobe (the heel on these is a bit lower and more comfy). I’m short so many skirts and dresses end in weird places on me. “Minis” often end right across the middle of my kneecaps, a strange length that can get stuck in my knee-high boot tops, especially wider skirts. It’s difficult to shorten some of these, like the knitted ones, which I otherwise love. OTKs are the only boots that work well for these odd-length skirts and dresses. They are also the only ones that slimly fit my skinny legs and ankles (mine are both from Stuart Weitzman). I bought three pairs of knee-high boots in the fall, they’re all much too tall in the shafts, hurting when I bend my knees, and extremely big around my ankles and calves, they seem made for giants (one pair called “slim-fit” are twice the diameter of my calves, what?). I’m about 5’4.5”, not all that short, really. The average woman in the US is 5’4” (and a size 16, BTW).
I am 5'2" like you! I never paid attention to proportion for me or the right shoes. In college or high school. It was a very differt era in colthes, back when you could make you over much cheaper than now. Plus my mom loves to sew and was amazing . She could have made money doing just that but she was afraid her work would be critisize and that worried her. So while I enjoyed sewing i didn't like pinning patterns. I have learned much of watch she knew. But 3 decades later all rules change to make especially for mature women. What I wore as a teen was not acceptable now, even though an Item is happyly back in style. The body I wore these clothes with had reformed itself to a tricky puzzle to look good in! You have figured it out. 1. It is the time to watch height of shoes and garments 2. It is the time to pay attention to horizontal lines, those created by your body - ankles, knees waists shoulders neck (sometimes wrists)88 3. Where the garments break on your body in relation. and how appropriate the garments could be altered with size, type and height you need.
Thanks Chi! This has been a bit of a struggle for me because I also like to wear boots with skirts. it’s pretty difficult to get the combination right so definitely going to use your suggestions.
What goes good with those boots Those three types that she wears The great fashion ideas shared here Will help many ladies dress with boots And put hostess strongly likes to wear Boits without any socks which is cool Feminine and a lot of fun for her to do
I need to wear shoes with covered heels for wearing wide-leg trousers, the fabric hems always get under the heels of my feet if I don’t and it’s super-annoying, it happens with every step and can’t possibly look very good, either. It’s another reason to love cool weather, I can always wear boots! I don’t like cropped, wide-leg trousers on me, my legs are quite short enough without emphasizing that. I finally found a pair of nude, covered-heel sandals for wearing with wider-leg trousers in summer. I love full-length, wide-leg trousers with my “high heels”, I can only wear heels under 3 inches, though. I think that with such short feet, the angle of the slope of my feet is just too steep, I never found a single pair of 3-inch heels that I can tolerate. I would wear them if I could. I might try some footwear with a platform, now that they’re back in style, I think I can increase the heel height by the same thickness as the platform and maintain the same slope. As least, that’s what math tells me.
Great video Chi! Could you please recommend knee high boots for petite women with short legs? I don’t like very high heels on boots and I also need boots with shorter shaft height. But it’s so hard to find 😞
I laugh because people forget that skinny jeans are the obvious solution for tall boots. You don't want that 70's look of tall boots with looser leg jeans stuffed into them and then bunching at the knees. Not attractive.

Would you mind sharing what you found? I'm in the marigor one too. Thank you.
Please share!!! I have ordered a few maxi coats and was swamped by all of them!

I have muscular calves also. Look for knee high boots with a stretch panel.
Thank you so much ♥️
Try Jessica London and Full Beauty. They sell wider calf boots.
Thank you. I love the long skirts. Hard to find.

Great video! I shy away from the ankle booties, but now I'll give them another try. Thanks for the info!

HI Chi, I'd like to know how to best style a printed OTK boot with a short heel.
Oh damn. I love the short skirts and ankle boots look but now I'm questioning all my life choices!
I'm not exactly petite...I'm 5'7"...but I love your channel! Your tips have helped me to dress better.
Yeeeey thank you so much! ❤️

Would flat suede knee length boots work with a wool A-line skirt?
Question can I wear block heels as a petite what can I wear with mini skirts and tights then if I can’t wear ankle boots
This was so informative! Can you tell me where the coat at 3:13 is from, please?
Thank you so much! ♥️

This is noted! ♥️
Can we get a skirt/dress videos with shoes for summer time❤
Great idea!!
Can you have loafers with bootcut jeans?
yes
Unsure, if OTK goes with longer dresses😮 probably the narrow ones
Could you please measure yourself with a measure tape in centimeters? I always get confused with ft and inches 😅
👍👍👍👍👍👍
