My next ideal crossover with Godzilla and Kong should be: Marvel Avengers, X-Men, Transformers and G.I. Joe, Exosquad, Inhumanoids, Voltron, MechWarrior, Saber Rider And The Star Sheriff, Macron 1, GoBot, Thundercats, Master Of The Universe, Spiral Zone, Sky Commander, Ben 10, Starship Troopers, Warhammer 40K, Aliens, Gears Of War, Halo, Hellboy, Turok The Dinosaur Hunter, Jurassic World, Dino Riders, M.A.S.K, Jaycee And The Wheeled Warrior
Anyone else shocked this hasn't happened already? Not this team specifically; but a ranger team based around the daikaiju from fiction, or the mythical creatures they're based on? You could give the whole season a cryptozoology theme, maybe have the villains be monstrous big-game hunters or something like the human villains in the monsterverse films. And when it comes to the rangers controlling their individual portions of the Megazord; I don't think that ever happened unless a power specific to their unique zord was somehow put into play; or if the Zords were somehow created by the ranger's animal spirits like with Jungle Fury. Look at the Zeo Megazord, it would switch helmets to give itself different abilities; and the ranger associated with it would be the one controlling the whole mech. Other than that, I think that once the unified mech was in play; they would all control the mech at the same time
Its funny since, while obviously different types of shows and with different companies, both godzilla and super sentai are considered Tokusatsu (the term just denotes a type of film/show that uses a lot of practical effects where possible (at least before CGI got to where it is today), like Ultraman and obviously Kamen Rider are also Tokusatsu)
I like this but I think it’s funny they made the OG green ranger the Godzilla Ranger because I mean think about his Zord from the MMPR show from the 90s…. He already had a Godzilla Megazord even though it’s technically a dragon. Fucking Thunder Red had a legit dragon zord 😂
