These designs are honestly awesome! I like that they have an edgier and more mature look about them. Haven’t watched anything Power Rangers since the movie reboot and the newest 30th anniversary special but I would definitely watch a new show that’s more serious with these Rangers!

They would probably just recast Trini, and most likely likely Jason and Zack too, since they don't sound the same as they did in 1994.
In real life, the actors play who played the 3 rangers left due to being under paid and bad work conditions. Which is why they were replaced. I do like the fact that the back story was retcon in favor of this.
I’ve been saying for some time now that there should be an animated power rangers series loosely based on the boom studio comics. It’s not only possible but they could easily make a lot of money. Hell they should have enough money to do it
They debut about a year before the Zenkaigers if memory serves. Elsewise, I think those designs would've been a shoe-in for this squad. The power of whole Megazords, condensed into single Rangers. That's a very fast and efficient way to sell the readership on the scale of the threat. It's also just simple enough conceptually that anyone tangentially familiar with the franchise, or hasn't followed PR for a long time could grasp easily.
I always felt that the Omega Rangers were like the Herald's to the emissaries for the morphing grid itself that way they can still protect the morphine Masters while the Omega Rangers dealt with other threats. @Will N I know that the actress that played trini had passed away and what they did for her in this 30th anniversary speical. But in the boom comics version trini is still alive and is the red omega ranger, leading the new omega ranger team.
Back in 2010 when they relaunched MMPR they had the chance to both change the timeline to introduce either the Omega Rangers, Dai Ranger powers for the team, or even Lord Drakkon and the Morphin Grid.
@Will N MMPR: Pink was done by an entirely different author with no connection to the previous writers or the show. Just because Kim broke up with Tommy doesn’t mean anything because the comic literally came out decades after. That’s like saying I could do a comic to some kids property and it’d be considered canon just because I tied it into the other bits in the series. Especially when you have Turbo that Kim and Jason were in. Also further the point. It’s also not canon because clearly they both still have their powers even though Jason was supposed to be cut off from the morphing grid for good. In otherwords the comics are meant to be taken with a grain of salt friendo.
@@kcx1588x yeah… no shit, that’s why Trini’s outfit doesn’t have a skirt in MMPR because the yellow ranger was a guy. Still, the US used that footage for their own purposes which was for MMPR.
