  • We eat some delicious mì khô (Vietnamese dry noodles) and sủi cảo (dumplings) at a street food stall in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. When you’ve got some late night munchies, eating authentic bowls of mì khô and sủi cảo is the best way to end your night!
The street food stall we ate these dishes at is:
Mì khô xá xíu tôm mực A Cường
31 Cô Giang, Phường Cầu Ông Lãnh, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
Mì Khô literally translates to dry noodles. The “dry” distinction is made because so many Vietnamese noodle dishes are noodle soups. The mì are egg noodles; yellow in color, fresh, and delicious. The dish is topped with generous portions of meats (shrimp, char siu, squid, and more) and veggies too.
Sủi Cảo is the Vietnamese name for dumplings that are originally of Chinese origin. The dumplings are stuffed with tasty ground pork, shrimp, and squid. The sui cao dumplings are served in a soup with a warm, savory broth topped with green onions and black pepper.
Mi kho and sui cao are very popular dish throughout Vietnam, and there are many restaurants and street food vendors that sell these dishes throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
Mì Khô and sủi cảo are a must try food for any foodies traveling to or living in Viet Nam!
