How much lift do you have to clear those 39.5"s? 11"? 8" springs and 3" body? I'm lookin to run a similar setup. That's a badass k5. How did you hit that tree so hard?
if you know theire breaking point it's not that bad, and I can go through deeper mud holes than the guys with one ton axles and the same size tires. it makes them very mad. when I do break one are local junkyard has plenty more for very cheap. I do have a dana 60 and and another set of boggers ready on 8 lug wheels just haven't felt like swapping yet

Are yuo using a stock clutch or something aftermarket?. I might have to change my clutch in a year or two and plan on 4'' lift and 35'''s soon and I have available 3/4 ton axles did you stick with the halftoners?.

i like the truck it just bothers me that you dont see these trucks anymore and ppl buy them only to fuck em up especially jimmy's. I have yet to see a jimmy in my area. I guess it just makes mine a lil more rare lol. but i am going a diffrent route with my truck. I am going to make it as nice as possible. Give it that nice luxury feel. yet have a nice big 4X4. it does have a 4in lift with 33's but its still highway friendly. I think it is a unique paint code. It's that brown n tan two tone.

if you look close you can see I fixed it with a gmc front end and took all the molding off. it took 8 hours to get it out of that creek

Awesome truck. The 350tbi/ 4 speed is a rare beastly combo you never see in K5's.

they are MT's 350 has a mid cam and performer T.B.I. intake axles have 307 gears matched with the bull dog 4 spd it's great
