Carter Offroad Park recently hosted MUD DAZE 2017! This 1000+ac property offers so much to the outdoor enthusiast, such as trails, hill climbs, mud, live music, concessions, tug of war, barbie jeep race, and feature in this video, an unconquered BOUNTY HOLE! This hole has a $5000+ bounty on a successful pull. The guys and girls gave it their best shot, with a few making pretty impressive progress, considering the peanut butter consistency.

I know one truck that could get through that and it is monster maxx
Ayyy MONSTER MAXX 2 is getting built, can’t wait to see that beast! :)
Hell ya wheslen desel
I love whistling diesel but monster would make it 50 feet
True it will
Yes
Undefeated...until some madlad brings a sherp
There what I was gonna say
Sherps will actually get stuck in that thick of mud. Seen it on a couple videos. The bottom gets caught and they’re done for. Completely different if the mud is soupy or layer of water on top that they can float on.
I'll second that I sherp would not get stuck
Why are you subbed to furries
Scott pls answer why are you subbed to several furrie accounts
The tires is what make the difference and the torque. The wider the tire the better.
Ikr like the car don’t got speed the car don’t got nothing
I worked a mud bog as a teenager...measured the run of every truck. Those jacked up monster trucks were a joke. Dune buggies and 1970s 2wd dodge pickups would go the distance while the huge rigs would bog down after 20 feet.

All the money put into some of these trucks & no fire extinguisher? Crazy.
More power, less tire and maybe they'll get further! Back in the day of mud bogging wheel speed was an important factor of a successful mud run.
I was thinking that surely more momentum was the answer
funny how the guys goin right down the middle made it further than the queens going on the sides
😂😁😀
Even funnier how some of the guys don’t use locking differentials.

I like the third one with the s10 body chewing his way threw it!
AWESOME!
This is so funny

Wow this hole made watching Golf seem exciting.
Makes me wonder if im outta windshield wiper fluid..
Awesome video again!
Carson Wiles Glad ya enjoyed it bud! Appreciate ya checkin it out 👊🏻👊🏻
@5:45 Probably the most efficient use of a fire extinguisher i have ever seen. Was that a can of beer? Correction we did put out a battery fire in a trunk with a can of coke once.
Awesome video!!!

Good work Big boy
Is there a minimum weight? A snowmobile seems like it would do really well.
or a notso lifted truck with tiny tires that are more like sand tires..
What about a tiny hover craft?
ruclips.net/video/r6gIFNq9_zo/видео.html
Good work
Can they have differential lock in this competition?
From what I could see, they do not possess.
1:37 I had high hopes for him
Same yotas all the way

friskie kermie 69 he’s getting his truck stuck
yes, that makes sense, of course
Omg. How funny. Good showmanship. Same as Wrestling!
There's something to be said that if you have a cobbled together, hacked-up conglomeration of various parts running under extreme stress, you might, maybe, possibly, want to spend the $30 and get a fire extinguisher or two..... you know, for the inevitable 6k RPM *POOF* or exploding tranny/steering line onto your glowing-red headers.
That said, the boys running the excavators did one helluva job with mixing up concrete!
I agree. I have seen these trucks with a fire extinguisher! One would think that every truck would have one as standard emergency equipment, The cost is little and the savings could be great!
Big engine stroker nice set up no extinguisher in side de cab

Well the issue to me is that all that sticky mud pushes up against the center of the Axel's and will not let go. So my solution would be to design a metal plate at the center at a 45° that will serve to push off the mud to help lift the truck up avoid the drag. My idea you heard it here first. Hopefully someone will build one so we can see it in action.
Called a skid plate.
I'm new to this scene. Is there a reason no one uses tires with big thick horizon "lines" and somehow fitting the motor in the back of the truck rather than the front?
If it was real competition, would you spin your wheels in same place or turn left or right, forward or back. Lolol. It is fun to see though.
ruclips.net/video/r6gIFNq9_zo/видео.html
man I love all your videos I showed cummins got no fear at school one time everyone loved it
Adam Breckenridge Cummins is where it's at man! 😃👍🏻👍🏻
Haha...I always try to respond to the comments if I'm able. Appreciate ya watching man!
Is the any advantage having the motor in the back instead of the front? Beside preference, keep the radiator from getting clogged as bad, or dropping the front off in a deep hole and swamping it? Weight wouldn't really matter with it being a 4x4 unless you was running lockers in the back and none in the front...
Yes Big brother
felizidades a todos
awesome video!
that was hard on them trucks!
WILDCAT D Eating transmissions and running gear like candy 😬
Hell yea!
And motors 250 degrees and up! lol
I love mudding so much
Rock climbing is better tbh, watching the suspension tip
I hear doing this just destroys your drive train & gaskets. Looks pretty challenging though.
Any performance, purpose built vehicle is going to fail. All falls under purpose built performance, its expected. No matter how well built there is always a weak link. You break it, upgrade it and now its the next weakest link breaks.
Is there a limit to how many HP they are allowed to have in theese contests?
23:04 Thank me later
Christopher Brion no one came to see that. Wtf?
Christopher Brion it's cringey..
Woke. I did
Christopher Brion thanks mate
I did, thanks Christopher
148 tires are bigger than the truck good video
great vid as always just what I need on lunch break
Crack Zulu Perfect timing! Glad you enjoyed it 😃👍🏻
A 5 second ride at 1 1/2 mph ..that was fun
ruclips.net/video/r6gIFNq9_zo/видео.html
Thats some serious mud
Take note that reverse mounted chevron pattern tires fare better in very deep mud. In an old Dick Cepek Realtor ATV magazone ad, it was said that when mounted in reverse, it traps mud and sand and act like paddles, helping the ATV float. Seems legit. Almost every reverse tractor tire fare better. Forward mounted tractor tires dig and get the diffs bottomed. Which is probably why amphibious ATVs mount chevron tires backwards, to help paddle in the water and deep liquid mud.
Amazing!!!

When is someone gonna start using portal axles and get that anchor of a pumpkin out of the mud ???
I was thinking the exact same thing.
That makes 3 of us. While we are on the subject of axles - LOCKERS PEOPLE!!!
I commented the same, nearly word for word just a few videos back.
Rubbish, to start with the mud bog is a straight line so you don't need to turn much, second they don't need the body that high, thirdly there are some seriously strong portal axle kits that can fit on almost any axle, y'all been doing these mud bogs the same way for over a decade, it's time to move on with some progress in the engineering.
Brian M0OAB There is an independent suspension rig going together that's supposed to debut at Bricks in a few weeks. Will try to get some good footage of this rig in action....
Yes Big boy
The tires on the "truck" in the thumbnail are bigger than the "truck"
Thumbs Up and Happy 4th of July.
Contrey kids love this stuff😂🇺🇲
Bruh how do you not know how to spell country
a 6x6 would of been good to see
Hurry up
Why are the Cummins always not strong enough to spin there tires every video they look like they struggle and just blow a little to much smoke
Why do they not use diff lockers? Im actually curious
love your vids
Joshua 145 Appreciate it brotha! Have a good one 👊🏻👊🏻
you to hopefully I'll get to meet ya some day
Joshua 145 That'd be awesome my man 😃👍🏻👍🏻

Guys I really love to watch this...but how can i
Big Sand paddle tires would probably make it
I feel bad for the drivetrain in that s10 with the tires on backwards
trevor philips they are on backward for the mud.
Dif lock, Portal axles, low range and don't stop. that should get er' done. no idea why most of em are using V8's either most of the time if you rev the shit out of em' they either catch fire from a fuel line or reek havoc in the block from limiter bashing. that's why diesel is smarter. heavier but more torque for them massive tires. skinny ones are shit in clay also. more likely to get stuck. fun to watch though!
did i see the end one put his hand brake on oO i guess just in case he rolls away lol
Nice video upload
This This is the south summed up in a 26 minute long video 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes go
you see big trucks with tractor tires but no lockers
Caleb Sanchez for a good reason.....

I wanna see how well Sherp ATV can handle that terrain XD
Joos handos
how they get the trucks out

Cover the front axle like a boat and use paddle tires on a light weight truck

Want to see how They pull all Those Trucks back out.
Crane
what kinda diesel was that blue Silverado rocking in it
Cory L Im running a 12 valve cummins, little bit of mods on engine.
Monstermax needs to go through this
If it's undefeated how do they get the trucks out of the hole
Hola soy jorge saldarriaga de colonbia . Esta dura la pista pero sepuede pasar
That white Chevy truck did damn good. Transmission would've held up, he'd damn near made it all the way through!
He would have to if I was doing that I would have whooped his time with a supercharged engine in it
Them heavy ass trucks couldn’t make it..!!
Gotta make it lite it will crawl better🤣🤣
And notice going in full speed and hard accelerating ain’t going nowhere either 🤪
14:04 what the fnck is he thinking?😂 Maybe he thinks he can go beside?😂
I must be stuck!
running tractor tread in reverse direction completely defeats the purpose of the tread pattern.
juggernautxtr the argument can be made that it grabs better in the mud.. the reverse tread makes it act similar to a paddle..
juggernautxtr p.s. He made it farther than anyone with them turned backwards..
it was the width that got him that far, watch the tires dumping the mud in front of the tire instead of pushing to the side. ans out of the way.
he'd got a lot further if they were the right way.
juggernautxtr I understand what you're saying.. but having them backwards puts the wider face of the tire down first lifting them up instead of digging.. it honestly probably doesnt make much of a difference either way.. 👍🏻
Backwards keeps them from digging in deeper by siping the mud out to the sides. Essentially it keeps the mud making contact without shedding it away.
Good
Wouldn't it be fun to watch a Icelandic formula 4x4 just whizz across the top in seconds flat and be like err yeah now give me the dollar.
would they even touch the mud?
Blink and you just might miss it.
Brian M0OAB gxscfscfwhxge
Go to search for hot dog mud truck
Been to a lot of mud runs (what we call them in my parts) and there are a lot of high horsepower light weight buggys that skim over the top. But they are there own class.
When you think jacking your truck 9 miles in the air is solution and yet you forget your axels are still 2 ft off the fround.......
Some of these rigs dont have diff lock and its like wow..spend 100K plus on your machine but cant spend maybe 5K more for diff lock
That first truck..wasted money in dat body too bad he left the engine down...is that a Hilux engine? Hahha
greetings from victorville,ca.
Some of them had a good set up but just not enough power
