BTW for the guys who want one of these, you might want to do a search for Quigley Vans first, it's like having a Suburban like this one + a camping trailer!
1. When you stop moving let off the throttle immediately. 2. When you back up, never cut the wheels out of the ruts. 3. When you pull someone out, pull at an angle so the side walls bite and get them out of the rut. If you try to pull when they are sitting on the diffs, good luck.

I once saw someone going down the freeway rolling on a set of super swampers...there was a little bit of smoke trailing his jeep. He was doing a respectable 60ish mph. Maybe these guys should invest in a good set of sand paddles.
I wonder what that diesel burb had under the hood, and how on earth did it make it look so easy, those other trucks had like 15" wide 44 super swampers!
6.2 military diesel with a Banks sidewinder and custom intercooler with propane injection and fuel turned up all the way in the pump. It also has 14 bolt rear with a detroit locker and 456 ghears. Dana 60 up front with posi. 40" xterrains
I had a 78 'burban when I was younger. She was up 6" on 35's. White w/ burgandy interior. Bench seat, tailgate not barn doors. 383 w/ turbo400 w/ 2800 rpm stall, locked in back.... Ahhhhh man, I put her through some SHIT!. Called 'er "Great White"... sold her... Regret it every day. The one that got away....
Not true, the suburban is my son's and it hit the mud after those big trucks made it deep and slushy. He has a 6.2 with a Banks sidewinder turbo and it is intercooled. The fuel in the pump is maxed out and he has a big propane injection system (and he used it here)
Can't wait. Just fired up my 454 for the first time, maybe another 6 months and I'll be able to hit the river bottoms. I put up some vids of the build do far!
oh no I agree, Im shopping for a 4 speed blazer. I had a M1009 that got wrecked in a snow storm and HATED that TH400. it may be tough, but the shift points were horrible. and, i just prefer driving stick. Although to be fair, my truck wont likely see anything this hardcore. Probably just do 1 ton's and 37's and do tailgating, drive in theaters, and some wheelin in state parks. the 6.2 diesel with a turbo will do for me, but would be useless in the kinda spot y'all are playing in in the video.

Dang, I guess nobody know's what a winch is. Sometimes when your buy yourself 4x4in. I make sure I have a winch and have alot of long chains n straps to get myself out of a bad situation

I buried my 03 Tacoma on 35s in that hole in 2015. The Solanos guys were there and jumped right in to pull me out. Good guys, thanks again.
