i love when people hate that truck sounds awesome so what toyotas are the best wheeling truck but only the old 22rs but who cares its all about fun in the end and honestly ive had some of my greatest moments while my truck was stuck in the mud i was prob. doing jjhnchapman's old lady
@SYSPLUCK i've been mudding in both my truck and 3 wheeler enough to know that if your having a hard time you need to turn the steering wheel back and forth like crazy and control the gas not just letting hell loose....
I just bought a 454 out of an old wrecker for $400. Came out of a 79. Guy said it was 5000 miles after a rebuild. The plugs look clean, now I just need me a beastly truck to put it in. Don't really feel like wasting it in my 2wd. :(
you can sennd ford and dodge back with them while your at it if it aint chevy i aint worth having buddy ive got an 87 monte carlo with a 350 bored 40 over with 350 turbo trans. and as for the trucks ive got a 67 jeep pickup with a 350 in it with 4 icnh suspention and 4 inch body lift but only got 36 inch tires on it im waitin to put the 46 swampers on it but when it all comes down theres nuthin like a chevy.
@ChevyRidinHighK1500 I now, dads Suburban is sitting on 2 frames and about 21 inches of lift because of body and suspensoin with 39.5 super swampers. we blew up 2 305's, 3 350's, and 0 454's! She runs many beautiful!! lol We've had it for about 3 years now. Thinkin about caming it. We sold the truck and then a little while later bought it back without the engine because the guy wouldnt sell it because he loved it so much.

@TheBikefish no doubt... but our bodyshop is responsible for saving the lives of an 83 K5 blazer 4-spd and a 74 full sixe 4x4 in the last year. I have a 91 K5. I dig old chevys.. prob cause we either had a full size 77 400 short bed or a 77 K5 when I was growin up. P/U had 35's and the K5 33's both had 400 engines. Then p/u was shortbed and wicked with 35's fenders cut nicely to avoid lifting it. My pop used to cut fenders fror pulltrucks so it looked nice. Go Chevy.
@Necraeon ever driven a truck with boggers? got to get them spinning quick to kep them cleaning out and being able to dig and go, when your stuck in a hole like that you cant get any momentum going so its balls to the wall till your out

Depends on the carb too. You jyst can't beat one of the old Predator box carbs for a mud truck. Reliable, simple, and makes some power.
