Tom McKenna Haha I know right. I was just about to post the same idea. These RUclips do-gooders sit in their houses bitchin and complaining about this video while their house was built on/with land and resources taken from the habitat of millions of animals. BUT it's ok guys!
Was amazed at how this truck didn't cut off, but only once due to water and how deep it was submerged. Was impressed by the power! wow the 454SS is something! I am a first time owner of that type of engine
you got to say that that was pretty dam awesome. what is amazing is the abuse that the moter , transmission , rear end hell everything . alot of big blocks cant take a lot of high rpms, but that truck is a beast, and the dude driving it was in beast mode . HELL YEAH ...
Love this video. It was very satisfying to see everyone so supportive. Even though i thought he wasn't going to make it. I was hoping he did. Good job Chevy
Gotta love the 454....one of my favorite fantasy project rigs would be a 455 in a 55 chevy hooked up to a 6 speed....all this coming from an import lover.
If You Love building big motors and putting them in big trucks (and Blazers) and driving them through big mud holes then you gatta love this ! Nice Enough said
lol id do that all day and nite long and idc how much gas I burn or how much day light I could do that till engine blows and put another one in and do it again. nice vid and truck.
I have a 72 dodge with a 440. And 4 spd. It's on 36s it takes me places most jeeps play dead in. What I love most about this video is the bumper, and the big block making bubbles. My dodge never. Seen a pond, plenty of trees stumps. And big rocks. But never a pond
Yeah, he made it out finally, after about 10 minutes!... Now time to go refill the gas tank!... He probably used the whole tank worth getting through this! LOL!
This should be a chevrolet commercial. The best truck ever made in my opinion especially that 85 silverado. Nice rig man good run. Love to see that engine hold up to all that torture. Good vid...
I thought this guy was stuck 5 secs into it! I'm impressed! LOVE THIS TRUCK! Yes, i'm a GM guy. I've always wanted one! That's just BAD@SS going throught that crap without getting stuck at ALL!
dad, slide over and let the son get it out of the hole.First time I let my son take the wheel through a big mudhole is probably the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face.He had permagrin for days!!
It's not just the fish dummy. Many different animals come to ponds like this to drink, hunt or find a mate or whatever. They explained themselves in the description, that it was the only one for miles...
gotta be honest, i get bored and get on here watchin vids just like this one ALOT this is by far the best muddin vid on youtube, or the net for that fact, BADASS!!!!
Wow...That someone has to explain the joy of playing in the mud (at any age), speaks worlds to the state of your life. Did you die inside when you were young? Must suck to be you....
Too clean, lets get er all muddy now!!! I love me some Chevy's!! They are awesome and fun to mod bog in...I did it with my Impala in mud and snow....LMAO
im honestly gunna end up doing a lifted jeep as an offroad car at some point, whenever i get finished with my currnet car, theyre awesome. i have awd right now in my little sport car and its a beast in snow, and rain, minus the clearance issues of being 4 inches or so off the ground
Martin Lyngby if you knew anything about nature you would know this kind of stuff does not hurt the poor grass if anything it will grow back faster and better after churning it up like this. Hell even farmers have to till up or churn up a field before they plant it. This is no different. You made yourself look dumb by even posting some bs like that .
Hell of a hole right there i didn't think the heavy Chevy was coming out the other side and im a square body guy lol it looked like you had sealed hubs on the front if so i would definitely get some manual save you a big headache
We turn away trucks like this that come to the shop. Almost everything is usually worn out...ball joints, tie rods, universal joints, wheel bearings, brakes...etc. Too much mud equals too much time cleaning equals too much money for the owner to spend. However, it is ABSOLUTELY FUN to go mudding!
Quite honestly........What is the point? Or should I say, "was" the point? You fucked up a water hole. Abused the hell out of a nice old truck. Put a good hurting on your tranny and driveline. Got everything crammed full of cat tails underneath. (Which will do wonders for any moving parts) Overheated the motor, maybe even blew a head gasket. Got the front end crammed full of crap........have fun cleaning that out. And most likely burned up $100 in gas. Awesome........ You the "man". (Cue gangsta rap music) I agree with the other commenter .. sure looks like you got some hills there. Let see, find a really good steep hill with a big drop-off on the back. Show us how high in the air you can get that truck! (Truck is already ruined, might as well). So there is your challenge, boy. I will hold your beer, while I watch you.
dear everyone, it dont matter what make you got, as long as its American, its got the right engine, lift, tires, lockers, etc... 2nd this is the point of muddin, it aint no fun unless you get stuck! by the way, to all the tree huggers and marsh lovers, i saw a comment, im not sure how long ago, but the guy who put this video up says they were riding on private land.. so please stop the "save the marsh" comments

I remember watching this when it first came out! Thanks RUclips algorithms for the trip down memory lane.

This truck deserves alot more credit. It took alot and still runs.
Exactly it stayed running with all that water ger gettin tossed around
That dude was relentless!!
Seriously can't believe Tree huggers, naturalist are crying a river about this. Awesome truck, very impressive it just kept moving, thumbs up!
It's not like he bulldozed an amazon rainforest and built a Wal-Mart on top of its remains...it's also not like the cattails won't grow back lol

badass chevy. it takes alot of balls to go where the tall grass grows.
Mad props to the owner of this truck. I'm from Australia and we don't have anything like this here. I want this rig!
America!
20000 miles in only 10 feet! has to be a record!
+Jody Wilson its seems that fuel efficiency must be considered when in a mudbog competition.

one of my most favorite trucks on the net. I watch the video all the time.
If you don't like what we are doing then don't watch the damn video
I haven't seen any bad comments though lol
Only one or two, there always are
ain't nothing tougher than an old chevy with a big block!! I should know i have an '84 myself ... love that truck
Nothing like a badass v8 exhaust gurggling under some mud!!
Looks like an animal in its native habitat to me!!!! Watch carefully as it becomes aggressive twords the pesky grass!!!
Very impressive I must have more Videos like this

Im a ford guy but i cant deny that a chevy long bed with a 454 is a thing of beauty
Chevy strong!
Nothing like a father and son moment. "Son always remember the bigger hole you get in the harder it is to get out. Now lets go in the hole."
this is why there are no K10s left

love the truck, but good way to ruin that 454
EldiwynPG hey like they say built like a rock
EldiwynPG that ain’t hurting that 454 a bit lol that thing is making plenty of torque and he’s not even hammering on it
Dude has balls to drive off in a hole like that. Good post. Like the truck.
i got a full tank i can make it aaaaaannndd its gone

A clump of grass stopped a 454?
No a lake and a thousand clumps of grass slowed down a 454 a little.
@@stevenking2980 that engine sounds wimpy

that truck got 10 minutes of pure hell even ford fans gotta love that hell of a motor
dude needs to learn to get his exhaust to exit somewhere out top. not down low in the water
it doesn't matter unless he shuts it off...
Maybe he might stall it and not intend to shut it off.

Nice dude I got a 93 with a 24 inch lift and some 44 super swamper and its got a 454 big block
It's because of people like him they put restrictions on where we can go off roading
And idiots dumping garbage because they're too cheap to go to the dump rather than cut down on donut and twinkie boxes. :p
