As someone who cleans airbnb's, I love it when owners have 2 mattress protectors on. The type that zips around the entire mattress as the bottom layer (protection from bed bugs, dust mites, etc) and the top layer being the type that goes on like a fitted sheet. The bottom layer is completely protected, and the top protector is easy to strip off and throw in the wash.
@@ThanksForVisiting I'm so glad I'm hearing and reading this -- we're working on a rental in my husband's home country and hadn't thought of two covers!

Standard textiles is really a great company. They will send you sample products to try. They do a good job explaining why they are better quality than most out there. Very helpful video, ladies!
Triple sheeting, all flats, or whatever you want to call it pays for itself just in the time it takes to launder. No bunching, no knots, etc. Once you add in time savings for install and removal its a no brainer. With that being said we only use all flats fot one night stays because we do not ofcer daily turndown service like a hotel.
FYI ; Hostgpo requires you to manage a min of 3 properties. Great i own 3 ! But then the prices are the same then amazon and you have to pay 150$ / year for membership. PLUS , i live in Canada so the currency conversion + s/h is killing it. Just so you know. Also , standard textiles does not ship outside of u.s. and i get same deals with local professional suppliers. Great work on the advices !
Good to know that it's different for Canadian hosts! We love HostGPO and find that many of the store discounts make it a no brainer for us! Have you checked out their mattresses? Not sure about the pricing difference in Canada but HostGPO gives an awesome discount on Helix! (Our fav!)
team Duvet cover. All white linen and a pretty throw blanket at the end of the bed for both my units. All white towels. I like to know I am sleeping on bleached sheets and using bleached towels. I have stayed in some places and the bed feels and looks dirty. Not cool.
yep. same. I even put them on my own beds at my place because it is just easy and I wash them once a week and replace....all white for me too so you can bleach everything.

It's so nice to have that bottom layer covered to truly protect the mattress!

In Florida, use triple sheeting and thin quilt. This makes it easier for guest to pick desired layers
Oooh, smart in that climate!

Absolutely love standard textiles - a HostGPO membership is clutch!!
I use a duvet protector and cover. Same as pillows.
Duvet protector is a great idea!

Totally agree and I know our guests all appreciate an extra throw blanket!
Is a duvay a pillow case?
It's an extra layer around a comforter :)
Hi girls! I am not sure what a duvay is?
I've never bought one because I've heard how cleaners hate them and they are a pain so I went with standard textiles cover top.
All white of course!
My property is in a hot weather temperature so a quilt is enough and easier for my cleaner.
Makes sense! Probably works well to have some extra throw blankets around just in case in your warmer climate!
Foxes thank you
Duvet with zipper
