How often on average do you have to buy new sheets and protectors for a single bed?

Great advice. Love the simple, yet effective tips. The key thing is to provide an exceptional service for the guests. I run a couple of Airbnbs for fun. I try to personalize as much as possible. It makes the guests feel special and it's a joy to be able to give guests a great experience. Keep in that in mind and everything else comes naturally. My Airbnbs in Jemez Springs, NM get the most bookings even though it's at a higher price range in the area. People come when you provide them a high quality product and value them as guests and truly care about their experience and not just out for the money. I've been lucky, I've had many amazing guests. Hosting can be fun and rewarding.

Fire blankets are much efficient and easier to use. I have them in all my properties. Great tip video

Hi ladies, I really find your videos super helpful. I didn't think of fire extinguisher or the fact that in case of emergency you need the address quickly. Very very useful and good video.

Don't just get a fire extinguisher because you like the color. The color indicates the type of fire it can extinguish. READ the box/label and make sure it is for the type of fire (grease, electrical, chemical, etc) that is potentially going to happen. White is usually kitchen rated but make sure. I have multiple extinguishers throughout the property. Two in the house for the different types of fire, with boldly written on them what type fire they are for. And one out by the BBQ.

FIRE BLANKETS are better for most stovetop fires than extinguishers. Fast & easy for older children, young adults, and adults to use.

People beware: helix customer support is non-existant. You cannot get in touch with them in any way if you have an issue, as we did. They say they will get back to you and they don’t. Sorry to say!

I would love to see a video about how you ensure you are getting guests that are not going to wreck your home. We have had 4 stays so far and 2 were not good. One damaged our hardwood floors by allowing their kids to Rollerblade on it. Another was doing who knows what on our beautiful dining room table and now that is stained.

Hi ladies! Yup I joined and I informed my Rep that you sent me 😊! Quick question tho' the Helix mattress is only 10" - that seems wafer thin so am not so keen about it. Shouldn't an STR mattress be at least - at a minimum - be 12"? How durable and posh is a 10" mattress - how much weight can that mattress handle???

I had an STR in Tahoe that burned down. There were guests in the house at the time (they got out safely). We discovered that a previous guest had taken the battery out of the smoke detector in the hallway. It's no joke that the smoke detectors need to be checked every single time your house turns over. Thankfully they got out unharmed but it could have been so tragic. I hate even writing this because it was so scary, but I want to let you all know that it can happen. 😢
