What if they take 4 hand towels, 4 bath towels, 3 wash clothes and bleached 5 beige bath sheets at 28.00 each?? I looked it up and it was 228.00 to replace.

do you guys have recommended language to ask guests for 5-star reviews in automated messages after their stay has ended? would you recommend this practice and if so, what would be the best friendly, appreciative, and professional way to phrase it? many guests don't know that even a 4 star review can be detrimental to a listing. when a review says "everything was perfect! 4 stars" it can be confusing and disheartening. is there a way to phrase a message to educate guests on how STR star reviews are weighed differently than hotels or other businesses. I've found some phrasing online in some forums but haven't yet been able to craft something that strikes the right balance and would super appreciate if you could share your thoughts or phrasing on this!

I love your guys' videos, thank you for posting & sharing your knowledge! Having said that, HARD disagree about the throw pillows. As someone with a disability, I really appreciate seeing a variety of pillow sizes and firmness levels. It depends on the number of people the home can accomodate and I'm always trying to consider people's comfort and accessibility needs as best I can. Offering a variety of sizes, textures, and firmness levels helps ensure that more people can be fully comfortable when relaxing on the couch or chairs. Having said that, if someone is going to provide pillows - try to provide a variety. Pillows that are all fluff that compress down to nothing instantly and offer zero support are indeed a no-go! :)

Hey yall! Regarding secret #4, would the thing you said at 5:21 and 5:30 - telling them how: would you use that phrasing at 5:30 in the morning after message? I totally agree about asking and prompting in advance and am hoping to automate phrasing like this so that I'm not forgetting to ask OR feeling anxious and writing a new phrasing each time. Thanks! Also love the tip about the magnet - definitely going to incorporate that. And I also did create a "forgot something?" bin in our bathroom. It's a small bathroom so it's inside the vanity cabinet but I do prompt people about it in our morning after message in case they don't come across it (not enough table space to put it in the open in our small bathroom).

This has to be the best topic around Airbnb now. from my latest experience TWICE, it always happens.

And vice versa, how can I lock the date on Airbnb? My client wants to lock the date on Airbnb outside of it, from its website.

I also added to-go coffee cups to our suite. Sort of stumbled upon them at a wholesale store when I was looking for individual milks and creamers. Thought it would be a great thing to offer. First month in and only once have they been used but I like the idea they are available if needed. Also, after about 50 people through our suite I am surprised that the keurig has been used more than anything else and that medium coffee has easily been the most consumed. As a dark roast fan I just assumed a lot of people like strong coffee but so far it's by far medium. Very little tea had (from a lot of options) and no decaf used yet.

Thanks for this idea! Where is the option in the Airbnb interface to create a parent listing for my 2 listings that I want to combine into a 3rd large listing? Is there a way to autocopy all the photos and details from both listings and merge that into this 3rd listing? Thanks in advance!

This did work, BUT an odd glitch I encountered was that the auto-generated link from AirBNB took forever to show up - like, entire multiple minutes, once I refreshed the page because it was not showing up. If anyone else experiences that, refresh the page and let it sit open for awhile and hopefully it will generate a link eventually.
