The song Olympico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Olympic Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

Yes, yes, yes💥. Thank you for reacting to this exact version. It‘s from his Arnau concert in Kazakhstan in 2019. Here he sings in Italian. Dimash sang this song many times after this performance as well. But honestly, some things just don’t get any better. I think this is epic. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the video and every, really every time my heart starts to race and I get goosebumps. That facial expression after singing the high notes. Wow, what a beast he can be. He then completely captivates me🫣. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. In my opinion, Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war😅.
Another great song Igor wrote for Dimash is Ave Maria. If you know a version of this song, this is not it. But definitely a must if you want to hear an angel sing.

I cried at the end of this song during his concert last Saturday in my country Malaysia. I have bern listening to Olimpico more than thousand times but cant prepare myself when i heard this live. I felt so overwhelm with the fact that his voice is more powerful and charismatic than a camera can caught.
I body felt numb and i cant keep it to myself. That us how OLIMPICO affect me even after became Dears for more than 4 years.

Love Olimpico and this performance at his solo concert in Astana was incredible but I think ive come to love the Almaty performance even more now with his new deeper range and more fullness to the soprano. That's taken it to a whole new level for me.

I love this song. I remember a comment from a guy that attended a concert as a date for a co-worker, no idea who Dimash was,. He broke down and cried during this song because it was so powerful. He had attended 100's of other Concerts as Security.

G'day, this is my favorite, of the non-Qazaq songs he does
For some of his traditional Qazaq songs, go to the Bastau concert in 2017, for the best Daididau you will ever sees/hear
Then Samaltau, Quiran Elim and Durduraz all traditional Qazaq songs. See the backstory on Daididau b4 listening to it, there is a very strong reason to understand it. They are really great, but all of his songs/performances are equally amazing.

😍👍 The fact you said this was your favorite Dimash made me go revisit your past Dimash reactions: SOS, Stranger, Go Go Rangers. I note that the SOS was the one he did when he was 22, not the one he did, after perfecting it, in his 2018 Sochi performance. And the Stranger performance was the one he did when he was *ill* and short of breath, rather than the stunning debut performance at New Wave 21. So you might want to react to those performances of those two songs and see if your opinion about the ranking of SOS, Stranger, and Olimpico alters once you've listened to the best performance of each of those three songs.
And of course there's the rest of his 150+ songs. I'd say the best videos of at least 10-20 songs are ultimately a lot more compelling than Olimpico, even the best performance of it to date (the one you just reacted to), despite it being so good. But we shall see!

It's not a version. Igor n Dimash worked together on it re music, not sure about lyrics. Dimash 1st sang it at the opening of the European Olympics.
