Thank you Brandon, I did worry about leaving it all in but a few of you have said that you're liking seeing the process so it's giving me confidence to weather it through. Wont have to wait long for the next episode :)
Haha sometimes a little too much and my brain wont let a problem go it's solved lol. It definitely does seem like it's going to be an amazing game and I can't wait to get properly stuck in to this game :)
Same, Treasacello, I had this game sitting in my library for quite a while before I downloaded and fired it up but it's been interesting so far and there is so much to it. I'm glad you're learning with me :)
Glad to see you giving MD a go - it's one of my most often played titles. Do not fret at all, it does have a fairly steep learning curve to get the basics down. I think I got the achievement for first death within the first hour or two playing. Watch out for trees when getting logs - they do not always fall the way you expect!
Good Morning Jay! Great to have a new vid with my coffee this morning! I love that you keep it authentic, and show all the learning curve in a new game! If you look on the right bottom of screen, you will see you don't need to have a hotbar slot for torch, just click "F" to use it when needed! It has been a while since I played this, but i think straw might be from the rushes between your house and the town? Keep it up, very enjoyable!
Good Morning Tigs! Thanks because I did worry about leaving everything in because sometimes I fumble a bit and take a bit to work something out but being as it's a first playthrough and maybe other folk also might not know some things I don't want to take the discovery stuff out. I'm glad you're enjoying it :)
Haha thank you Ron :) It's the Scot coming out more strongly :) Yeah this is my first playthrough of this game and I'm just beginning to realise how in depth it's going to be, looking forward to exploring it all. Cheerio!
Your torch doesn't go on the hotbar. Early in the tutorial it had you press f while you're walking around. It seems it's just in your hand maybe? About the water thing. I thought maybe something wasn't right when you first tried to drink from the river, but I saw you try to, so I was as confused as you were that it didn't work. I'm really loving watching you play this game and figure it out. It's watching you do things without really knowing what you're doing that makes this series so entertaining for me. I can really relate and it helps me feel normal when it took me like 2 years of playing Ark before I felt like I had the basics, only to watch Phlinger and find out I really knew almost nothing. I actually prefer to watch noobs and armatures for entertainment and the "experts" only for their tutorials. I find it entertaining to watch you run around for an unusually long time trying to figure out a basic came mechanic because that's how I play games. And the squirrel distractions every 30 seconds just adds another level of authenticity for me.
Yep, figured that one out by mistake, now it's a pain because the damn thing breaks all the time haha. Yep, I would have thought it would be possible even if you got a debuff for drinking out the river but it must have just been me or the way I was trying, but it works now thankfully. I appreciate your honesty, I do agree with you and I enjoy watching new players or players picking up a new game that they haven't primed and polished because it is more authentic but more engaging but I'm glad you're enjoying it haha because there will more than likely be a lot more where that came from `:)
I am a little nervous too about putting out a video. I am learning a little about creating a video, but still nervous about getting it out there. I have no editing skills. I think that you are doing great!
Hey editing is a skill all on it's own, but you'll get it, everyone starts out not knowing but it's about being okay with mistakes and learning from them so you can actually do the thing. You only fail if you never try! You got this Ron!
Hi Jay Coffee time new game nice. :)
Hi Donna, yeah I've gone for something different and that I haven't played before so it's definitely a learning curve lol
This looks like itll be an amazing game! Watching thru the learning curve makes it enjoyable and more engaging! Cant wait for more of this series too!
Thank you Brandon, I did worry about leaving it all in but a few of you have said that you're liking seeing the process so it's giving me confidence to weather it through. Wont have to wait long for the next episode :)
You've patience and skill to figure out problems. This looks like a terrific game and series!

I've owned this game for a while, but I haven't downloaded it yet. I'm learning by your doing, so thank you.

Also, I believe reeds along the water is used for the roofs. Again, it's been years since I played last, so my memory escapes me.
