I was wondering, does an ironsight block the scope view? I'm pretty interested in buying a HW95 Luxus, but I'm on the fence to pick up a HW95K for this reason alone.
Great videos! I got a Umarex Trevox pistol with 11mm dovetail included, and want to put a reflex sight on it. 1) What do you recommend for under $100? 2) Can you demo installing it on something similar? And 3) the trigger take-up is ridiculously long. Can you show how to improve that? Thanks!
Question: I have an Air Arms TX200. Would you recommend the SportsMatch single scope rings as were in this video or a SportsMatch 1 piece mount? I will be mounting an SWFA SS 12x scope on my gun here shortly. Thanks!!!! Great video!!!!
I have Leupold mark5hd with 35mm main tube, im unable to find 35mm rings to can mount it on my pcp who have 11mm dovetail rail, all 35mm scope rings on the market are suitable for picatinny rail.. i find only one model 11mm dovetail rail to picatinny adapter made by hawks company and i hope it will resolved my problem..
Never use single screw rings, especially on piston guns. Don't put a level on the stock thinking your gun is level. If it is consider yourself lucky. Not very solid advice.
@@elmanitasdeplomo that's a good spot as long as it's a flat surface. Another way is open the gun and put a level where the barrel and compression tube meet. If your rail is flat you can level the gun off of the rail then you can put a barrel level clamp on the gun because obviously you can't have the level on the rail when you mount the scope.
The pin isn’t broken, it’s a roll pin (has a split in it so it can squish down to fit into hole and stay there. None the less I wouldn’t recommend using a hammer like that to push it in, rather I would press it in with a press or vise, but each to their own.
Here's what I do: Find my best eye relief spot, water leveled the gun position, leveled the scope, tighten up the screws and finally recheck the water levels on both gun and scope.
Use Diana zero recoil mount first ...if you want to fix zero on your scope .... springer are really dosent like scope ...they kill scope within 500 shot ...so protect them from recoil
Thank you from The Netherlands - exactly the instruction I was looking for (just bought a Hawke Vantage for my Gamo replay gen2)
Great job with the instructions
Vye-r-ouk, there is no substitute! Nice rifle and good tips 👍🏻
No substitute? A matter of opinion for sure. Yet a very nice rifle.
Very informative and well explained. Thank you...
Thank you just what I needed to install that PIN

Hi,no the ironsight does not block the scope view.

So this fixing pin is the equivalent to the "stopper" installed behind the scope?
Main question is that, scope should be push fully in front, or fully backward before tightening??

Height difference in the clamp/mounting bracket of ring at 2:40. Would this not cause a fit up issue?
Very good video
What is the actual torque spec when using a driver ???
22 to 25 inch pounds for myself
there is another type of scopes that has a one piece mount integrated in it, how would I go about preventing it from creeping?
👍👍👍
Very nice .. scop 👍
i’m having problems using a 90 ci bottle it takes air and the air comes out of the when valve is open , but not air goes in my umarex gauntlet 1 help
don't you have to flip the ring mount locking plate for 11mm rail?
Good job, INDONESIA 🤝
Very interesting thank you
great
What are the Torque settings?
I shoot springers - thanks for the info
can you help please = rear Scope will not grip rail on one side when trying to fit pin in hole -could pin hole out of line -???
Make sure the pin is not protruding too far. It could be pushing the mount out of the dovetail groove.
I always lap my scope rings be it on my real guns or my air guns
Can you show to to remove and replace foresight on cheap Chinese break barrel .177 please
Most of the time, you cannot. They are typically glued on or molded in to the frame. Sorry.
Hi nice vid ? Does the arrestor pin come with the rings thankyou
Yes. The Sportsmatch mounts come with an arrestor.
Thank you

Wouldn't the level tell you if it is?
How do you determine it’s level then? The breech block?

Good, however your pin broke after hitting it with the hammer, not sure if you’ve noticed.

Game Swarm Magnum. 22, I can't stop the scope creep.
👍
If you’re not using loctite you’re going to spend all your shooting time trying to figure out why your groups look like birdshot
goot pidio

7:17 Some one needs to learn the meaning of the phrase "hand tight". Dud you are using a tool not your hand to tighten. That is not hand tight.
