- Опубликовано: 10 ноя 2011
- Paul McCartney messing about with old studio equipment and generally having a laugh in the 90's.
First generation recording, brand new tape, SVHS not VHS - to try and keep quality as high as possible.
Recorded when first broadcast.
Thanks for looking. - Наука
He's very clean
just like his grandfaaather
Yay Alvin! You'd be amazed how few people catch the reference! Good on, friend!
Jack, way to go. Aren't these little studio videos of our hero so great?! Cheers!
+Jack Stubbington oh w OK w Jack, that is awesome!! In only 38 but it's the exact same for me! I knew from an early age John was the bands' protector, and mine too, if only spiritually. that remains today, stronger now!
+Jack Stubbington very well put. In a small way, people like u and I, having never met, can relate in this way. sort of a way of keeping that spiritual thing alive, whatever it is! I guess it's magic.
It's obvious how easily he can let his hair down and let that childlike creative sensibility take over. He doesn't let any inhibitions in the way. That's a clue to how creative genius works.
Hearing him play the Strawberry Fields flutes was just fantastic.
"Oh all right, where're you from, then?" "I'm with the Government." "All right, I'll have a gin and ink." I've laughed myself completely out. Macca's mischievous look as he knows he's got the reporter at his mercy is priceless. Love You Paul!
Gin and It…short for Italian
@@sataalvarez I didn't get it, either. I thought maybe it was, "I'll have a gin, innit."
I will never get tired of this video
Paul is so cute it hurts.
I want to get stoned with this guy
oh YESSSSSS !!! me tooooo :-)
ur real for this spencer even eight years later
@@theafterparty2264 fax
Is it wrong to say how "cute" Paul is here? Lol
Man, i'd love to meet Paul.
I have!
Agreed
So would I!
Metaphorically, the closest I ever got to Paul is my uncle, who was, at one point, one of Paul's sound engineers, and my famous bass mentor from when I was a music student in university, whose son has been Paul's longtime drummer on stage.
The closest I ever got to Paul, PHYSICALLY? When I attended his concert at Candlestick Park.
4:25 OUR FRIENDS! Welcom to ze castle! hahaha, quite a vindy night out here, hmhmhmhm, but chu know? I've always loved it here, in hershving von shnuftein!
Paulie is such a goof! I love him so much!!!
So help me, this clip confirms what I've known for decades: The Beatles were almost as good as comedy as they were music! Paul's a riot here.
at 2:48 I literally thought he was showing the album cover to NEW
I think those are the ones used for the album cover, actually. So in some way, he was showing it
@@champkind6877except it would of been 16 years too early for NEW.
Love this man, in my eyes he is the most Famous Person on this Planet.
Such a great man, truly a living legend. I laugh every time at his witty sense of humor.
I love him so much.
I love his little rendition of Strawberry Fields...
"Let me take you down..."
Cos I’m goiiiiin!
I think it's one of his favorite songs by John. In the recent Get Back docuserie, he sang a little bit this song while he was playing the piano. Honestly, it's a little beautiful version!
comedian and musician = a champion combo
"I'm with the Govornment..." Ha!
lol Paul is such a kid ! but in a good way :D
its always a pleasure to hear Paul. What a wonderfull man!
he is a very old kid hahah
A brilliant talent
Paul at that organ doing all the voices...LMAO
So much talent!
Favorite video ever
Paul is all around great person !
The David Brent of The Beatles
Daniel Arbiter
LOL!
LOOOL what a dreadful perspective
That little green amp he has, if you Google "Beatles Indra club" you'll see a photo of them in 1960 in this sh*tty club with that amp.
lol Those shitty drums too.
he is so talented
He’s blasted and I love it.
Makes me realize how important the influence of that typical English humor was for The Beatles in their music and PR, but also for other British bands like The Kinks and The Small Faces. Very much related to what we know from comedians like Peter Sellers and Monty Python, of whom they were fans.
A great and super funny guy hahaha
I love all his different voices (:
I love seeing him play around like this & hearing the explanation of the instruments they used on recordings. Luv ya, Paul! 👍💋
Simply fantastic.
That's amazing it's really deep in his soul and he seems to just get better as he goes on with his life . If I could be like anyone in this world besides my Father it would have to be Paul such a inspiration to us all.
can you imagine FOUR of them doing that - the stories on the Beatles collective charm are legendary. Their charm and enthusiasm for life was infectious ... Beatlemania was not just music, not just TV appearances. Four of them had that energy and adventuresome spirit of mischief
That skit near the end is absolutely hilarious 😅 Paul can add comedian to his broad roster of talents. The guy's a natural 🎉
his studio looks so cozy:)
This is the even more laid back version of chaos and creation at abbey road. Most of the things highlighted in this video, he does in that too.
How delightful!
Wow!!! I wish I had a pound for every time that Paul and His musical brilliance has made me say 'wow!!'.
Sir Paul McCartney, you are just awesome ~ respect
There's something extraordinary about him... maybe it's just his passion
Yea Paul is very animated and funny when he's clowning around:-) Billy Joel is a lot like that as well:-) Imagine, the both of them doing some sort of variety show together when the touring starts to wear them out!?? "The Paul and Billy Show"!!:-)
***** LOL, nah..he's just so talented, and funny, he could do stand up, if he were of that ilk!!!
He still remembered & played well!
love this, makes you go back to childhood in the 60ies
All that vintage equipment is probably better than the stuff they have now.
I met him in 1976 at a Led Zeppelin film premiere.
and???!!! :O
“I always love it here, in Herschvichtvonschlercthein.”
Oh my god he's perfect
Genius
Can't believe he still has that Elpico. That things gonna end up in a museum some day.
Love it .
Reminds me of You know my name Beatle b side.
Paul and John must of had a right laugh together
I always love it here, in Herschwick von Schnivtein.
wow he 's a ton of fun!!!!!
This video gives me life 😂
si! excelente!
¡Qué divertido es Paul me ha hecho reir con su buen humor!
Lenny Kradick! :D
genious
Such a cool guy, such cool music.
You get to see some of his real humour here. The Beatles all had that deep magical flow of humour and imagination.
magnificoooooo
He's ridiculously talented
An amazing man quite at home around all things musical . I'm glad the he gave his talents to the world . Would be quite a different place without him .
Paul is so funny :D
THIS IS SOOO MUCH THE MOST FUNNNN OF EVER!!!!! SUCH GOOD SILLINESS!!!! YAAA!!! and oh OH YOU WILL drop whatever you're holding and including your mouth shutness as soon as Paul starts ..... ~~~~~~
That's the Pauly that was an example of a funny older brother or uncle to us, and still dreamy , hopes of getting one of those as own prince charming, lol, well YES!!! He's married two women about my age so WHY NOT!!
Talented guy
Damn, he looks like a lot of fun!!!
What a humble beginning ... an Elpico amp ! Bet it's worth a bit now .... maybe the successor to that Deacy amp used by Brian May !
My favorite part starts at 3:41 😹
Pure inspiration and I can see he really takes humor seriously ! Awesome guy
That's as funny as I have ever seen McCartney be. He was clearly relaxed and enjoying himself. He's better at channeling funny than inventing funny.
ACRES OF FUN
Funny as heck. Love ya Paul !
Camon baby... little darling... hahahahha
So good of Phil Collins to hold the microphone for his dad there
Sentimiento, alegrias, tristeza
La Vida.!
Gracias, GRACIAS, Talentosisimo MÚSICO
PAUL MCCARTNEY 🎵🎵🎺🎹 ✍🏻 🎸 🎧 🎤
the mellotron part keeps making me laugh (:
Heartbreak Hotel alone makes this invaluable -
3:35 damn Macca!! It's midnight here, my roommates are sleeping and I can't breath now cos laughing so hard, but have to be quiet! xD
Excellent vid - other musicians always glean so much from seeing working environments of musicians. Nice budget Paul has got to work with : )
Paul macartney the great!
I would love to be a fly on the wall, and just watch him do what he does in his recording studio.
also quite telling is that Paul is unabashedly a fan of Elvis and his purchase of the Bill Black bass makes him just as much a nerdy fan as we would all be if we could buy his Hofner bass ... gotta love that
"I want you heart babe! Drop it on a plate." lol
love the interviewer, keeps quiet
Paul bought all of the original studio stuff from EMI when they got rid of it.
2:33 is it a Tubullar bells, played by Exorcist theme song? By Billy Shepherd and Mark Oldfield?
lenny kraddick hahahahahhahahahahahaahahahaha
Moog Voyager atop a dual-manual Mellotron? Wow, that's nice! A man can dream.. :)
:D love this video
3:40 best part
you drive me crazzzzy
He had the giggles that day
LENNY CRADDOCK!! Epic :)
Lenny Kradic
Brother of Billy Craddock. ;-)
So Paul is dead and this guy is his double.....yea right.....
+El Capo Ninja I don't think so my friend.
I was being sarcastic...
+El Capo Ninja
Yes amazing they got a guy that looks just like him
and is a musical genius too
pretty incredible
El Capo Ninja gullible or shill, which are you
