And envy is actually one of Scott's evil exes, and has to fight Ramona. And Roxys weakness in the movie is Envys in the book.

Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), is married to Ewan McGregor and he has an, "I'm in lesbians with Ramona Flowers." shirt he wears to make her laugh. Which is the cutest thing ever. Also, I saw this film when it premiered in theaters and it was such an incredibly hilarious time. After it came out on film, I had 2 different versions of it (they made a comic book-esque version of the cover). I watched this movie every single day for months on end at least once a day. Some days I watched it 2-3 times in a day. I was trying to get all my friends to watch it but I didn't want my copy ruined so I just watched it with them over and over again XD

i find it interesting that pretty much all Gen Z reactors obsess over the age difference between Knives and Scott. but i think this is the first non american reactor i've seen that also stayed obsessed over it as well. back when the movie was made the dating difference wasn't a big deal. especially, since their relationship was innocent.

Evil Ex #3 that you thought you knew was Brandon Routh, who played Superman once and was also in Zach and Miri Make a Porno. That second one is a laugh a minute. You should review it as well.

It’s always annoying for the reactions to this movie. Because they really take the bait with Scott. When the movie actively addresses those issues and makes Scott pay for being the way he is until he FINALLY learns in the end to be better.
I felt bad for Knives, she was so sweet and didn't deserve the emotional damage Scott did, but that's what I like about this movie, it's not saying that any of what Scott did was okay, he cheated on his girlfriend who was too young, but he knows how shitty it was, and the movie does too, no one is saying he's an amazing guy, but he's still our main character.
I'll just say this. A great many people on this planet wouldn't be here if their parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on back hadn't ended up together despite an age difference. The one between Scott and Knives is honestly nothing. There's relationships with bigger gaps in real life going on right now.
So, about the "22-year-old dating a 17-year-old" thing, I'm not going to defend it in principle, but the age of consent in Canada is lower. When I was a teenager I seem to recall understanding it to be 14; that was decades ago, and I have no idea if that's true or if it changed since, and I also have no desire to ask google and have them put me on a list.

Yeah both Scott *and* Ramona are not great people, Scott's friends constantly tell him in the beginning :) I recommend rewatching this, it's one of the few movies I used to rewatch almost everyday for awhile. YOu should watch the Anime series of Scott Pilgrim, Its not a 1:1 of the books or movies tho. Its goes in a different direction (AKA story and stuff)but has things from the books,Movies and game. I think you would love the anime series, just go in with an empty mind and not except it to be like the movie or books.

It’s always annoying for the reactions to this movie. Because they really take the bait with Scott. When the movie actively addresses those issues and makes Scott pay for being the way he is until he FINALLY learns in the end to be better.

I felt bad for Knives, she was so sweet and didn't deserve the emotional damage Scott did, but that's what I like about this movie, it's not saying that any of what Scott did was okay, he cheated on his girlfriend who was too young, but he knows how shitty it was, and the movie does too, no one is saying he's an amazing guy, but he's still our main character.

I'll just say this. A great many people on this planet wouldn't be here if their parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on back hadn't ended up together despite an age difference. The one between Scott and Knives is honestly nothing. There's relationships with bigger gaps in real life going on right now.
So, about the "22-year-old dating a 17-year-old" thing, I'm not going to defend it in principle, but the age of consent in Canada is lower. When I was a teenager I seem to recall understanding it to be 14; that was decades ago, and I have no idea if that's true or if it changed since, and I also have no desire to ask google and have them put me on a list.

Yeah both Scott *and* Ramona are not great people, Scott's friends constantly tell him in the beginning :) I recommend rewatching this, it's one of the few movies I used to rewatch almost everyday for awhile. If you liked Brie's song in the movie you should definitely check out the band Metric, as well as The Beaches, practically every song is a bop (both are from Toronto too): ruclips.net/video/xXZO4uZmo7E/видео.html but really the whole Scott Pilgrim soundtrack is great as well, the band songs were made for the movie and written by Beck :)

YOu should watch the Anime series of Scott Pilgrim, Its not a 1:1 of the books or movies tho. Its goes in a different direction (AKA story and stuff)but has things from the books,Movies and game. I think you would love the anime series, just go in with an empty mind and not except it to be like the movie or books.

I don't understand why everyone makes such a big issue over the age difference between Scott and Knives... They never even do anything. She just jumps on him and kisses him once at the concert before they break up. That's it... 1 single kiss and people act like they're banging every weekend...
Well considering scott at that point used relationships as an ego booster instead of wanting to be with someone for them, being with an underage girl who he can have fangirl over him is problematic
