Fun fact , zootopia was gonna be a whole different story and A LOT more darker , too dark that they changed it. The story was gonna be focused on nick and the predators z the predators where gonna have shock collars who shocked them if they got too excited for anything , judy was gonna be more rude and hard headed but was gonna chage one she saw a 6 year old polar bear get shocked one he recieve his shock collar and got happy . Also nick wanted to creat an amusement park where the predators get to enjoy being happy without their collars and the main villian was a pig . And the badger wee see with the lion , was also gonna be in the old story , she was a conspiracy theorists who believed sheep were evil , i guess she wasnt wrong lmao

It was called Zootropolis in its initial European releases because the name Zootopia was already in use by a zoo in Denmark. Disney could probably have still used it, but couldn't have claimed exclusive trademark.

In Germany this movie is called "Zoomania", don't ask me why.
The movie was written in the United States as "Zootopia". There is an amusement park in the European Union with the name "Zootopia", so Europeans got "Zootropolis". Something similar had to happen in Germany, because you are the first one to mention "Zoomania".

The title/city name change is dependent on where you're viewing from. Something about calling it a utopia was bad in certain countries so it was changed to zootropolis. If you've seen Inside Out there is a scene where Riley is refusing to eat broccoli as a kid, and one country changed it to be a different veggie since broccoli is seen as a yummy treat in their culture. There's videos about all the changes that have been made to movies so far that can actually be pretty interesting.

This movie came out when I was I. Second Grade and I never Understood The Racism or Sexism in the movie but now I do. This movie is in my top 10. 1:27 Different Regions. There was an actual Zoo named Zootopia in The UK and So they dubbed the entire film in Zootropolas. 6:52 Water Buffalo.🐃 25:37 Yes.

This is my favorite Disney Movie, it deals with real topics very well and is entertaining at the same time. I'm not ashamed to admit I've watched about thirty reactions to this. My theory is that these animals are anthropomorphic, probably somehow evolved to be very similar to humans (Disney magic I guess lol) so that's probably why Nick is able to live longer, as well as all the animals

I know there’s only a handful of people that ship them, but I hope they do end up making it like they did with the racism and stereotypes with the first movie. This one they do with dating different species and judging dating different species or something like that, they be pretty deep conversation and really interesting to see.❤ they already do that in the fan art I’ve seen a few comics that are really good about their ship and touching on the subject of dating a different species which is predator and prey. It’s pretty interesting. ❤
