I just installed that same hotwire kit a month ago, helped with my fuel cut issue. Still want to get a new OEM fuel pump, but i am having a hard time tracking down the correct aftermarket OEM replacement fuel pump. I would upgrade but i just tuned the car recently. Also that new bumper would look fantastic on your car. Keep up the videos, youre my favorite youtuber by far 🤘🏻
Yea idk about the fuel pump .. U just need to fine one I think under 300L a min and I think it should work the same ... Or upgrade the fuel pressure regulator like I did ... I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure you can run a bigger fuel pump in your tune should stay the same for your injectors as long as you have a fuel pressure regulator that can keep up with your fuel pump...... And thanks man !
Hey long time no chat, I just did my fuel pump swap with cleaning of the tank but I damaged the evap canister on top, would that affect me from running? cant get past cranking
@@ExtremeGamersBenchmarks you should be able to get the everything from the trunk. You shouldn't have to drop your tank again if you already cleaned it
Just me but I love the stock look, I always feel like these were perfect from the factory. Would be cool to get all the active aero working too. I’m aiming to have my own slightly lower, exhaust and a nice set of wheels. Regardless it’s all good 👌
Check the fuel tank I know you probably checked it months ago but they rust up real fast and see if your fuel pump hose is not split happens all the time if you don't use the right fuel injection hose
Oh I ment to ask did you get a short shifter ? Apparently the 3sx one (roller bearing short shifter?) is excellent and a big improvement over stock, look it up !
@@huracanian3051 Stock idle pressure is 33PSI, it's in the service manual. Yours will be far too high. You won't be able to turn it down to the correct pressure due to the junk FPR and the hotwire which you shouldn't have done. Fuel pressure is a critical adjustment just like cam timing is and just like ignition timing is. Get it wrong and bye bye engine again.
@@1magnit how ? ... Pump has constant 12 Hotwire.. AEM fuel pump ran straight to the AEM series 2 ECU .... I set it where deatschwerks AND aem tech support on a three-way call told me to do it.. when I set up my ohms and voltage breakpoints for my injectors .. So wtf u talking about ?????
@@huracanian3051 What do you understand about "base pressure"? it's supposed to be 3 bar. That's 43.5 PSI, it's a fixed value which should never change, it's the pressure across the injectors. With the engine off and the pump on, the gauge should read 43PSI, when the pump turns off it should remain at 43 PSI, At idle with the vac line on the gauge pressure drops to 33 PSI, with 1 bar of boost it goes up to about 58PSI, base pressure stays constant. When the base pressure is wrong your programmed dead times for injectors are wrong as is the fuel flow .Then you'll be messing with the wrong parts of the programming to try to get it to run right. The fuel pressure adjustment is just as important as ignition timing and cam timing, you get it wrong as everyone seems to, then everything to do with fueling is wrong. You'll end up letting the smoke out.

About to install my hotwire kit too... think I might do that extra ground just to be safe, good idea 👌🏼

Hi ,is the AEM 340lph pump plug and play, or will it need hardwired. Love your videos.
I really don't remember 😂 .. .. I think there is one that's plug and play but even if it's not it's 3 wires
I did a video on it
That's what's up cuz

No not yet .. I need this thing to run 1st lol
@@huracanian3051 haha true true. Well I’ve no doubt it will run ! Can’t wait for the start up

Dissatisfaction
Post notif gang!
im trying to find wheels that fit over my first gen 3000gt vr4 brakes, any ideas?
Evo wheels ... That's what I got
@@huracanian3051 thanks :)
STM Tuned.
Lol ?
agree theyr taking forever nowdays XD
The worst possible mod, it screws up the fuel pressure then runs lean under boost and it blows up.
Wtf u talking about
