It blows my mind that studios and developers who spend millions on creating a game, don’t spend a second on market research to know their audience. I would be fairly interested in another hero shooter if XDefiant wasn’t so great, and honestly I’m waiting on The First Descendant. I played that beta and had a lot of fun, I never played a beta of Concord and honestly it looks a lot like Destiny pvp. I guess my point is, there are other things out and coming out that I’m more interested in. Also, spreading Democracy comes first. These games only come after a few missions of Helldivers.
Helldivers 2 is an established unique PvE based squad shooter inspired by Starship Troopers and other Sci-Fi movies. Concord is a straight up copy paste Overwatch hero shooter which is ripping off Guardians of the Galaxy's characters. There is no comparison

Quick examples - Starfield, Destiny 2, everything Disney, Warner Brothers. In Destiny 2 which presents a galaxy or galaxies, there are no white males. Same for Overwatch, every new character is a high ranking diverse female. Check XDEFIANT, same story.

I seriously could care less about the pronouns. I don't understand them but I understand that everything is not about me. I'm also not one of those babies who cry woke about anything that doesn't cater to them.
My problem about the game is that is just doesn't look very good. I have a feeling that Sony knows that and is just releasing because they spent so much time and money on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this game was announced under the previous CEO Jim Ryan (which could be one of the reasons he is an ex-CEO now) when he was pushing all the live service crap.
I find all of this very interesting. People say sony should diversify, get some multiplayer games. They do it, and get shit for it. I have no interest in Concord, but the game doesn't look that bad.

Concord seemed cool to try until I heard it was a full priced title which is utterly inane.
I am also not for forced politics and pronouns in my video games.
Am also getting a bit sick of life service games. Perhaps if this also had a robust single player campaign followed by multiplayer would have made this quite cool. Paying for a live service title is utterly ridiculous.
I would give this game a try if it was free to play. But forcing pronouns and money from my wallet. Absolutely no thanks!

Obviously it’s not Sony’s staple narrative blockbuster adventure experience, but they need a well rounded portfolio of other genres like multiplayer and shooters and platformers and AA games and all the like. But they can’t win can they? The core gaming audience wants to hate and cancel stuff before it has a chance to even try to be a fun gaming experience
People made this game. Not just a company or a brand or a logo. People. Developers who maybe love these characters or feel passionate about creating something that’ll connect with players who want to come back to it week after week
Do I want to play Concord? No. I am an old, single player, turn based playin fart. But do I want the devs to succeed and let players of all ages and preferences and experiences get a chance to play something maybe they’ll love? Yes. And do I want devs to feel like players are rooting for them more often than they’re gunning to tear them down? Yes. Is that reality? Nope :/
