I've been practicing the seven star punch 👍 it is like hitting with part of a tree not just my fist, a very solid movement 👍.
I also practice using two hand fans like they are "war fans". Or one hand fan to hide my attack with a staff or sword 🗡️.

I wonder "is there a duel wielding hand fan form?"
For now I adapt the one hand fan Yang form or empty hand Yang 24.
It is a very good exercise for the brain.

Are these sabers the same as used in typical wushu training / competition?
What is leg raise for - in this counter at 1:25? I've never understood that. When you do it explosively, it just looks like leftower artifact from simple front leg full step back (such retreat is perfectly reasonable ofc).
No, these are more solid sabers than those used in Wu Shu, realistic but without an edge to be able to practice safely. The Tuli position, on one leg, has various functions in this case also of dodging and protection of the lower part. The application I show is just one of many possible ones 🙏🏽
@@DanteBasili thank you. Could you give a link or name a site where I could search for such sabers as you use? Do these have historical weight / weight distribution, or just are less flexible than wushu ones? Also - do you think that these sabers could be used for combat in hema protective gear?
