Hi Matt Well the Fold/Flip concept many carrier have adapted has been nothing short of amazing. Haven’t used it myself - as I’ve been “loyal” to Apple, but I’ve been rather curious as to what the experience would be like. Def would prever the flip over the fold though. I can see it having various advantages, but then again I can’t help but wonder - “how long will my screen last with all this flipping”? Would be keen to know others opinion about that. For the Apple product upgrade - I new iPhone would be greatly appreciated. Or perhaps this is my year to acquire my very first MacBook! Have a blessed one mate - cheers

If they replace the iPad mini with a large iPhone Fold, I would buy my first iPhone and go all in on the Apple ecosystem. I honestly don't care for smart phones but use tablets, eReaders, and loved how the original Macbook Air and iPad mini could fit in my minimalist bicycle bag. It'd make it easier to check/edit photos seriously on the spot.

You make a good point. My daughter needs a computer for high school. They would provide her with a Chromebook (nooooo!) I was just thinking about an iPad Air with a Magic Keyboard. That might be the best way to go rather than a Macbook air. She's never used an Apple laptop. I think the iPad is just more intuitive for her (having used one her whole life!!)
I promise you you will pay an extra $1,000 on the fantasy the iPad Pro can replace a laptop. The hardware can, yes, but the software can't, and Apple does it on purpose. The two most crucial aspects of a laptop are fully resizable windows and the file system, both of which have been hacked to death by Apple for something inferior. If you are fooled by the paid off advertisers that the Magic Keyboard is somehow magical, again, forget it. It is the most insanely overpriced basic keyboard I've ever used. It is very very heavy. The weight will far surpass any ultraportable laptop. Your iPad will tip over on your lap in many circumstances. Certain situations, your iPad will pop off and fall the ground. Hope you don't break that screen. There is no edge protection unless you pay an extra $70 on top of the stupid dumb cost of the Magic Keyboard. Will you love the hardware? Yes you will. Will you love that you paid a 50% Apple Tax hike just for the tablet, and another 300% Apple Tax hike on the Magic Keyboard? Seriously, if you would get mad being charged those tax rates by Uncle Same every time you bought a coffee, you absolutely should feel the same way towards Apple. Buy an M1 iPad Pro 12.9 and save yourself $1,000. The M1 is more powerful than you'll ever need. The min-LED is great. You'll never notice the difference without side to side comparison. Nothing the M3 iPad offers is worth $1,000. Nothing. If you still feel the need to throw away your money, please send it to me. I will make far better use of it.
I just bought the iPhone 15 Pro. This is my first iPhone since 2019. If a iPhone fold gets released, I'll be one of the first to get it. Fingers 🤞 crossed.
When I run remote play or watch movies on apps there are no issues on my Fold 3. It's a great phone. When I pick up my S23 Ultra. I'm still gonna use my phone that's how awesome it is. My plan PlayStation, I'm watching movies on my phone 3. There's no competition and I love how I folds in half. So I can put it in my pocket.

Normally it takes 5 - 10 years for these kinds of patents to be technological ready… So… I think we will see a foldable by Apple in 2030. 🙈
