Bless you. I volunteer on weekends to visit folks like you. Many folks are alone and it is heartbeaking. Please reach out to an agency in your area that offer services to help you. There are volunteers that would love to spend time with you every week. It enriches your life.

@@cece2347 unfortunately those type of people are not widely available,what i really do need is someone to take me to the beach in summer,i have a home help but she only has one hour to spend
I have a small patio loaded with plants. I spend the first two hours of my day there drinking green tea and coffee. The garden keeps me busy tending to it. I move plants around because of the sun, every day. Something needs to be divided and/or repotted every day. I fertilize and water.... it's very satisfying to me. They are all my pets.
Sweet message. Mostly the TV spews out division and hate. It causes me deep depression. That is why I only watch RUclips. My Father in heaven takes care of us but this world is hard.

Hi Sandra,, yes you are right. The world is so divided all over the world, not only in USA. I think the politicians are the one who divide us. But we the people should not have to let them divide us. God is ❤ and love covers all sins.❤🦋🌻
Division is so unhealthy for any country.
So, so true what you say Sandra. Divide and rule by those in power who want to keep power!! They create unrest and hate and fear of difference rather than love, understanding, tolerance! I saw again recently the photo taken in outer space of our beautiful planet....the pale blue dot....our only home for us to cherish and care for, for all life as we should care for each other!

I have begun saying the rosary twice a day for world peace and for our country to come together and let their be no more division

I agree with you Sandra. We could live a good life, maybe in the best times, but we live in a world of turmoil and violence. It makes me sad 😒. Family is important, but for those who don't have a family, they have to seek it somewhere else or inside of them. Thank you Sandra and stay safe 🙏

I'm so glad I realized long ago that Family is the first and foremost important. I would Never live my every desire without them. In 60 very young healthy active and happy. My mother is 88 she is the most content happy Woman I've ever known. I'm fortunate

Thank you Sandra for this great message, and honoring that generation. My father was in the Navy during WWll. He was a very hard working man, providing us with the basic needs. Actually, I do miss some things from "the old days," where people had more respect for each other. Growing up in the 1950's and 60's (born in 1948), I remember my folks saying: "Never discuss religion and politics." Sometimes i think that was great advice. I am open to people's views on matters, I just don't like when someone gets heated, not liking what you share. It is sad. Lets hope mankind will open their hearts and be kinder to others. Thank you again, Sandra, and safe travels.
It saddens my spirit at the division of hate as Americans, very sad. I'm so fortunate to live within a few miles of all my children and live with my older sister now. Family is important.

Family sadly isn’t family anymore. 😢 I have estranged children and other family because everyone is so convinced they are right. About everything! I even see Facebook groups about estranged parents and children. It’s unbelievably sad. I miss the old days. My heart is legitimately shattered.
So many families are having that difficulty. I don’t know what’s happening in the world. I don’t know why so many families are being fractured. I am so sorry.
@@lifewithsandrahart Thank you. I appreciate your kindness! It is all compounded by the fact that my oldest daughter passed away at just 39 years old almost 3 years ago. I just want peace and fairness to happen, but I don’t see that in my future sadly. For now, I just take care of my husband, and pray for Jesus to come back!

Sandra, have a safe journey home. I so enjoyed your talk today. Your words are so true. I taught middle school for 37 years, middle school special Ed and regular sixth grade reading and English. I loved working with the students and getting to know them and trying to teach them that we are all important , no one being more important than the next. When they worked together with other students they found out that they all just wanted to be accepted for who they were as a person. It didn’t matter the color of the skin, what country they were from or their religion. What they had in command as human beings was way more important than the money they had or the clothes they wore. I miss the time I spent with students trying to have them see others through different eyes. ❤

Division is a choice we make every day. We don’t need to follow others into a pit of intolerance and hate. We can walk our own path of compassion, forgiveness, and love. Change happens one person at a time and one act of kindness at a time ❤

I've been studying English as a second language for 2 years now, and my teacher told me that I had to look for a podcast to enhance my listening skills. While trying to find it, I came across this lady's podcast, and boom!! I said, "This is exactly what I need." The most beautiful pronunciation I've ever heard, the way she modulates every word. I do understand what she is conveying! Ohh my gosh... thank you for helping me with my English journey.

I was born in 1960, and lived in Pompano beach, Florida until I was 38. My dad especially taught me, respect for others, inclusion and professionalism. I rode my bicycle at night, and I rode my bicycle to the beach. I always felt safe. My father was involved in city improvement, and my mother was a teacher who became a Bahai when I was 12 years old. I was exposed to a lot of grown up activities and learned to introduce myself by shaking hands. Do people do anything like that anymore? How do parents instill values these days? Because I know I learned my values, by watching my parents. What do children see today? 💔 🇺🇸 🐕 🌻

Yes, I agree. We need more kindness. People are being & getting divided. Yes I do believe our constitution was meant for freedom, a safe haven & our forefathers fought and many died for that. I agree with what you're saying. It's troubling. Safety, freedom, ability to all work toward goals as individuals and families. Protection of children. My grandchildren are in or graduated from college, my oldest grandson is getting married. I pray for our nation & world to be a safe place for their children 💕.

I don’t blame you for missing your puppy dog. I feel the same way about my dog and cat. I am in Florida and my daughter is in MN. She is flying out here to ride with me for the 3 days to get there. When I return she is riding with me then flying back afterwards. I just cannot leave them and am so grateful this has worked out. Hope you have a safe trip and will be home soon with Moshu in your arms!❤
As usual wise words. These were extra relevant for me today after an incident where I was verbally attacked purely because I am an older person. How our world has changed !

You are correct, Sandra. Love is the answer. It makes for acceptance, unity, growth...how lovely the visit with Susan sounds! And what a gorgeous cake! I don't know if I'd be able to cut into it!
We actually hated to cut it! She told us we could take off the edible flowers and they would last if we put them in a container. The whole cake was edible - everything.
It looked absolutely beautiful. I usually always ask what flavor/filling a cake has, but I never got past how lovely it looked!

We live in a different world with so many changes and honestly it hasn’t change for the better.

I agree with you all you said about people getting so angry. A friend of mine yelled at me one day when I said something wasn't right. I just let her talk. She apologized before we got off the phone. Not everyone has a good family that truly loves them and leaves you out in the cold with nothing. No matter how good you've been to your family. Some families are poison 😢
I do know that. Sorry to say it is true. In that case you are better off without their toxicity! Friends sometimes are more loyal. I one needs that in their lives.

Correct. We have one that is normal I think, married, kids respects us, visits. The other younger one was difficult, I tried so hard and loved him so much, long addiction story. He is thankfully alive and sober but down deep, I think he resents me. I ponder/worry about what it is. I pray for acceptance/relief but the hurt of him pretending to care for me is hard. I must ignore him to feel safe. It is very sad. I don't understand at all. We are both 74 and healthy. .
