When I was 21 I felt a lot of family pressure to marry. It was what was expected. I fell in love and accepted to marry even though I did not feel quite ready. After just two years I knew it was not right for me. I was working and finishing my bachelors degree at night. I made up my mind to be free. I pursued my career goals and by 24 I was divorced and living independently. It was hard, but I learned so much about myself! Eleven years later, after getting to know myself, I married the most wonderful man! It’s hard to go your own way, but it’s worth it. Take your journey with courage and love and you’ll never go wrong! ❤
So glad you spoke this truth Sandra!!! I will be 70 in a couple months and I am working 2 part time jobs 5 days a week and taking care of my 94 year old mother every night. My days are very full and busy. I feel like I am 40 not 70. We all need a purpose!!

Hi Sandra, You look lovely and rested. So good to see you. I’m getting ready to retire and trying to figure out my next moves. Your videos help inspire me. Thank you! 🥰
Good evening Mrs.Sandra. I just retired from the job that I loved but it was time to pass the baton’s to someone else. And it was good that I did because I’ve been taking care of my health. I don’t regret it. However, I’m going to learn this week how to sew, to swim, crotchet, and I’m giving myself one year to learn these skills. In the meantime, I’ll be doing tutoring services two days a week. Yes it’s essential to have a”purpose” each day. You’re absolutely correct do not feel lonely because there is always something to do. This could be painting if the person is confined on the bed, sewing by hand, or doing things with their hand or a pen on the forehead onto the computer ( For those who are not mobile). Never to give-up because God gave us this life to be productive and to enjoy within our means/skills.🙏
Welcome back, Sandra, and thank you for the wonderful intro music. It reminds me of my mom, I must say that your message today is another one of my favorites. It contains universal wisdom that can be used by men and women of all ages . I'm 81 and I feel enthusiastic about my present and my future. I think part of it comes for an appreciation of my past, the bumps and the smooth spots. I know that I negotiated all of them. Not perfectly, sometimes not even well, but I did come out on the other side each time. And, that gives me the confidence to keep growing. Thank you for adding another bright spot to my day. I enjoy our conversations!
I keep on watching this video to remind me of the 4 L’s. I like the ending so much - “for those who are feeling alone and helpless”. I do feel alone and I really am alone…I miss my husband whose 3rd death anniversary is coming end Sept. “Be you and you are a unique individual” i will remember this and try to practice it. Thank you for your words of wisdom.
I always have had purpose. My grandmother taught me humor, and love!!💗 I labored hard because I was a single mother, and always worked two jobs. I got pretty ill, and found myself for the first time where I had to ask for help because I had children. I can’t feel bad about it. I couldn’t let my ego get the best of me., I have watched you for a long time, Sandra, and this is the first time I feel you just became political about those who ask or need help.
Something seemed at odds in her comment-at least to me.but again have to listen to what was said again. My adult kids have helped me a great deal and I’ve not asked. I’m newly 79.
Hi Ms Sandra Thank you for another conversation of depth and meaning on how to live a productive value-filled life. I was a psychiatric social worker for 37 years when the county administration I worked for transferred me to a position managing the financial contracts the county had with private mental health treatment providers. I went from working directly with clients to working with contracts and numbers- which I was afraid of as my skills for understanding complex math and business formulas were nil. With the help of patient co-workers who were good at these skills they taught me and I learned not to be afraid of spreadsheets and terms like “straight-line projections” “off-sets” etc. To your point, it was good for the brain and expanded my vocabulary and skill set. With warmest best wishes to you and your family ❤
I listen to you faithfully and have my sister hooked as well!!! My mom is 86 and wears the same hairstyle you have on this recording also with white hair! Keep up the mission that God has gifted you with! ❤😊 I am 66 still working 40 hours but my days are so much better after I listen to you!!! 😊 oh!!! I love you natural humor! It really makes me smile 😃
Hi Dear Sandra, I must listen to my husband more and spend less time on the computer. As far as labor, thank God everyone in my family were blessed with a good work ethic. I work on keeping my husband and I healthy spending a lot of time in the kitchen along with making sure we exercise daily. Have to admit we need to laugh more, such serious times seem to make for serious faces. Laughter always makes me feel so good afterwards. I knew the last L was going to be for love. I have been trying to love the Lord more and more and your videos are so enlightening, thank you for sharing and explaining your 4 L's so wonderfully. I learn so much from you all the time. Happy part of your video, you and Mushu and God Bless Zack.
Hello Sandra. Glad to see you today. I enjoyed your inspirational video. Your topic for today was helpful. You have lived a sucessful life. Have a pleasant weekend. ❤🥰
Hello again Sandra, you look wonderful. The loving, peaceful time you spend in TN shows on you! So happy for you. Thank you for another great conversation! (Listen Laugh Labor Love) At 75 it is all it takes to feel fulfilled. None of it, not any of it has to be big and bold, because every little bit of those things counts in volume! Working (labor, most of my adult life..whether it was as a teenager, or supporting myself and then my 3 children and now supplementing my retirement income to add some small pleasures to my life. My life is full of these 4 “L’s”, thank God! I am so grateful for all of my life’s experiences successes and failures, the ups and downs, easy or difficult. Everyday is new and full of possibilities and all of my knowledge, understanding, inner strength and common sense was earned and learned through those L’s. Bless you Sandra! Have a wonderful week! Always, Dee♥️
Purpose is something I struggle with I feel like my kids are grown not needed for grandkids anymore as they are in school and I feel lost. Plus being sick with thyroid cancer that’s spread it’s hard but thank you for this video gives me hope I can over come the obstacles in my way ❤
Thank you for sharing your 4 L's Love Life Laughing at myself, living my life happily with my kids, my cats, my dog, my crafts and loving people like you on my RUclips channel. Have a happy day. Love from Sydney Australia, Ginny xx
I want to begin by thanking you for your inspirational words of wisdom, today while scrolling on RUclips I happened to see your video and clicked on I’m happy I did. Today I asked God to teach me about love, how to recognize it, walk in it, and how to receive it. I definitely don’t think it was a coincidence that one of the topics you discussed was love. I appreciate you sharing your gift with the world. I have wonderful day and thanks again!😊💕😍💕

Sandra nailed it with this one! On a side note, if cold emailing is your angle, Filter Bounce is a must-have. I have been using it to keep my bounce rates under 1%, and it is been a lifesaver. Real-time verification API works wonders on various email domains. Plans start at $10/month, easy on the pocket, too.
Blessings Sandra, happy to see you back and thanks for always inspiring us, I am enjoying my retirement by living out my sense of purpose, I give thanks to God first and foremost, I get involved in a small group in my church with our pastor we study and share thoughts on Bible and any topic of concern, then in the week I'm the member of a health and fitness club where I meet like minded positive people, we have fun together. I am also learning a new language and I'm into nutrition so I experiment with different recipes idea, it feels so good to be positive and happy, I always have music in the background when I'm home because that's therapeutic for the mind and spirit ❤
Love your four L words. My purpose that I try to follow everyday is talking to my mother and asking her questions keeping her mind active. My mom is 92 years old and I am so thankful that she has a quick and sharp mind.❤️🌺
Struck a nerve with your wise words today as these Gen Z "kids" that grew up receiving participation trophies that feel like others (just anyone else but themselves) should be providing them with all life's necessities because they exist... need a huge wake up call about how life works. I got pretty ill, and found myself for the first time where I had to ask for help because I had children. I can’t feel bad about it. I couldn’t let my ego get the best of me., I have watched you for a long time, Sandra, and this is the first time I feel you just became political about those who ask or need help.
God Bless you. I felt the political also, how interesting.
What I heard is that we are all interconnected in the network of the making, the taking, and the giving
@YardlySlicker heard it correctly. There is nothing wrong helping those who need help.
I don’t think it was directed at your situation. You worked hard got I’ll and needed a little help. Nothing wrong with that. ❤❤
Something seemed at odds in her comment-at least to me.but again have to listen to what was said again. My adult kids have helped me a great deal and I’ve not asked. I’m newly 79.
Thank you so much Sandra for your peaceful true wisdom and words of love. Sending you love and so happy to see you bsck❤
Big hug for you dear Sandra.
Well done!
Hello, Sandra. Thank you so much.
Thanks for watching!
My dear Sandra… once again I thank you for your positive wisdom! Love the four l’s. A lot of food for thought.❤
Hey I just want to wish health and happiness for you and your family
I listen to you faithfully and have my sister hooked as well!!! My mom is 86 and wears the same hairstyle you have on this recording also with white hair! Keep up the mission that God has gifted you with! ❤😊 I am 66 still working 40 hours but my days are so much better after I listen to you!!! 😊 oh!!! I love you natural humor! It really makes me smile 😃
Sandra you are an inspiration for all👏⭐️
You are an amazing woman Sandra. Despite your life problems you still remain positive and good humoured. It reflects in your whole face.
I'm between jobs now. Sometimes, I am wondering what life is. Thank you for the four Ls. Those words are really wonderful reminders for me.
Hello again Sandra, you look wonderful. The loving, peaceful time you spend in TN shows on you! So happy for you.
Thank you for another great conversation!
(Listen Laugh Labor Love)
At 75 it is all it takes to feel fulfilled.

Thank you, Dear Lady ‼️ You bring wisdom and joy to my life. 64 and still learning.

I am 64 years old and I still work three times a week by taking care my grandsons three times a week. Also I read the Bible. I , enjoy to embroidery. .
Happy Labor Day. God bless you 😇♥️🙏🏼
I’ve done that as well with grandchildren but they’re much older now. So, new adventures in travel for me..
I was at a memorial this past weekend and I heard a beautiful quote…”Happiness is not the absence of struggles and pain, it’s the presence of LOVE! ❤
Oh Sandra great advice you look wonderful ❤ my grandchildren keep me young and I learn so much from them 😊
I love your channel Sandra, such a wise intelligent lady my kind of people ❤️ 😊
Yes so agree , with all your advice

Sandra, you are admirable! Enjoy listening to you!
Love your four L words. My purpose that I try to follow everyday is talking to my mother and asking her questions keeping her mind active. My mom is 92 years old and I am so thankful
that she has a quick and sharp mind.❤️🌺
Struck a nerve with your wise words today as these Gen Z "kids" that grew up receiving participation trophies that feel like others (just anyone else but themselves) should be providing them with all life's necessities because they exist... need a huge wake up call about how life works. Being a 1960s child and having to work for anything I wanted, it is shocking to me the false sense of entitlement our youth have today. Yes Sandra LOVE ♥AND GRATTITUDE is the Secret to a wonderful life. It's hard to be depressed and negative when you are busy being thankful and grateful for everything you currently have which actually brings more to be thankful and grateful for 😃. I'm glad your Zach is an example of this.
I am so glad you had such a wonderful time in Nashville and good weather! I hope you are doing well. ♥ Elle
Thank you! You too! Enjoy this Labor Day!! I’m just chillin’💕
Each little moment can be made into a gem, using presence and appreciation.
