This shoes are just so comfortable. I think this is the most comfortable shoes yonex have.. I think this is a combination of the 65z and the aerus.. very light upper and very cushiony on the sole side.. very very comfy shoe.. same observation, that my knees have to adjust during the first use of this shoe maybe because of the roomy feel where your feet can move freely, where i almost had an ankle sprain also so i recommend to go to your true size dont go 1 up.. but this shoe is very comfy and after the first day and after adjustment it feels so great now.. great shoes but dont go 1 size up..
Reassuring to hear they added extra cushioning into this shoe. The skin like material made it seem like the shoe wouldn't have any cushion on the toebox. Too bad they didn't add the carbon plate at the bottom - Could've been a cool in-between shoe (Aerus vs 65z3). Insoles can always be replaced with ur own anyways.
Victor's a970 ace is my favorite as its suitable for narrow feet. I figure the new nitrolite edition is even better but I can't get it anywhere and do a test. which one do you prefer?
@@BeastBadminton1 Thanks for sharing. I have the Victor P9200ii which I really like for its cushioning. I'm also looking for the A970 nitrolite but it's out of stock for my size :(
I want to thank you for your great shoe reviews, keep up the good work! :) Your videos are great for navigating the badminton shoe marketing jungle, especially since it's nearly impossible to try on these shoes when you live in central Europe. I stumbled on your videos yesterday because I'm looking for new badminton shoes. (Currently have the Asics Gel Rocket 11, which is just a basic shoe, but the value you get for the 50-60€ is decent). Since I'm looking for a shoe that reduces fatigue in my legs and especially knees, it seems like the Eclipsion would be the best choice for me. Is that correct?
Thanks for the kind words. I find that it depends on your body size - if you're about my size or above and prefer yonex, the Eclipsion z3 will be your best bet in my experience

Its quite heavy tho
@attoboom8347 not at all
@@attoboom8347it looks bulky and quite wide compared to other yonex shoes so you will feel heavy. The feeling will be gone after a few sessions.

If there was a carbon plate, it would be a high end shoes 😂

People tell me that long-term durability is an issue for all their shoes when compared to other brands. Is it true?
I haven't noticed that issue - I feel as if people say that about each of the big brands 😉
Not at all. The only high end model that easily break down is Yonex Aerus.
@bin0993 I was told to buy Asics instead.
