I wanted to compare four intermediate, even balanced, Yonex rackets so we can better understand how they're different and which one is right for you. The four rackets are: - Yonex Arcsaber 11 Play - Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour - Yonex Nanoflare 800 Game - Yonex Nanoflare 1000 Game Even though two of these are named in the Nanoflare category (typically head light and faster rackets), they are close to...

Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour review: worthy upgrade after Arc 11 Play?
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.2 месяца назад
In this Yonex Arcsaber 7 Tour review, I'll share my insights after playing with this racket for ten hours on court. The Arcsaber 7 Tour is an all-around intermediate racket and leans towards being head light, but is close to even balanced. I've been looking for an upgrade from my usual Arcsaber 11 Play, with a similar feel and specs, but with a slightly stiffer and more responsive shaft. Let's ...

Yonex Arcsaber 11 Play review: great all around racket for doubles
I had the opportunity to try many rackets this month buying and selling them until I found what I like. Victor Thruster F Ultra, Victor Thruster F Enhanced, Astrox 77 Pro, Nanoflare 1000z Pro, Felet Aero Carbon Pro. I didn't like Astrox 77 Pro because it felt almost like Arcsaber 11 Pro except a little more head heavy. Average Joe without excelling in anything. My most enjoyable rackets I used was the Victor Thruster F Ultra & Yonex Nanoflare 1000z Pro. 1000z is very fast in front court and mid, has better attack than 77 Pro, downside is the head is very small and if you don't hit on the sweet spot then a lot of times you will hit the frame, possibly breaking it in the long term. Thruster F Ultra is only 5.8mm thin shaft so it has a whip effect when you swing. Very fast and powerful racket at the same time. Thruster F Enhanced is slightly slower and but also slightly more powerful due to the slightly more flexible shaft. Most value for money pro racket is the Felet Aero Carbon Pro which only cost around 1.5m Vnd brand new (In Malaysia, in Vietnam costs 2.4m). Made with 40T Japan Carbon ,plays like Arcsaber 11 Pro/Astrox 77 Pro but more power, slightly more flex.
I have the Arcsaber 7 Play. With proper technic, the racket can generate so much power. I was playing it with low to mid intermediate players. They can barely defend my smashes which are even from the back court. Btw, I'm using exbolt 65 strings at 27lb tension. Maybe, against more advance players, your smashes will be less effective as its flexible shaft kind a decreases the shuttle speed, but against intermediate players, this racket is a beast!
What string tension did u put on the 88d game 3rd gen?
10.5 kg in tension on all the reviews
The Yonex 65z3 and 4 are utter disgrace. Flimsy as paper, they even got rid of the old durable outsole. Disgusting
😂
Oh damn, are you in Sai Gon, Vietnam? Cause i just recognize the court you’re playing. Hope we can have a chance to play together😊
You r my favourite bro im also new to this im buying this racket right now keep up the good work bro 👊
You could work on your core, cardio and technique to lessen your fatigue. I have both shoes and they do not fatigue me faster than heavier shoes. I noticed in your badminton play videos that you are heavy footed. Work more on technique and footwork and guaranteed you'll have less fatigue. Shoes should not be blamed for it.
You're correct that i'm heavy footed and i could work on the areas you mention (and many more). This is my favorite badminton shoe of all time, so 'blaming it' seems like you're stretching things. Not every player wants to improve their game so they can play with certain gear
Arcsaber 11 play is comparable to Yonex astrox 88 play, not 88s game
If you think that's the case, go ahead and compare them
Great review👍 I just got this racket as well and am excited to try it out
Is it good for plantar fasciitis?
Is this racket noticeably stiffer compared to nanoflare 1000 game? I found that 1000 game was a bit too flexible.
Have you test Lining ZJ 2 or yunting? I know that The Boom technology is one of the best of Lining but i dont see it on these shoe? Btw, do you know if the mirage SE different mirage pro?
Thank you I suggest giving the video some focus shots of the shoe itself for more context. Keep in mind it's a shoe review. So giving it some zoomed in shots will go a long way
can you do a review on the 11 tour if u have?
Can u suggest me as i m a agressive player and plays bith singles and doubles 1.100 game 2.Lining axforce blast
What a perfect time to watch this video. I am using Arcsaber 11 play and looking for an upgrade. Realized stiff rackets will be a bit much for my level, so opting in for a Game series. After watching this video I am considering 88 D Game.
Hello sir M very confuse about eclipsion z3 vs 8500 2 or ace 970 u professional ? M looking for great cushion and bumpy comfort .. please guide .. thank you
Which strings would you recommend for this racket? I have taken BG65TI with 26 tension but the racket feels more of a defense than attack...
I'd go with the strings and tension you usually play with
Hi there, I am 46y.o., 108kg, 183 cm. I do 2.5h long sessions in an intermediate league. I play doubles only. My heart rate is in the Zone 4-5 throughout a session. I have 3 sessions a week. I wear Apple Watch to all of my sessions. My calories burnt are usually around 500-600 an hour. These have been my steady numbers for 3 years now.
Thanks for sharing - good to get more data points. Any idea how many games you usually play during a 2.5h session? I usually play one, sit one out, play one, etc.
@ 7-11 games. Depends how many players come on a given day. We have a fixed number of courts and if there are few ppl, say, exactly 16 for 4 courts - I get to play almost non stop and then I am dying for the next 24 hours :-) If it is 4-6 more than the number of courts can accommodate, then I get to rest and it’s around 7-9 games. One edit to my initial post: turns out I was wrong about my heart rate. It is evenly distributed among Zones 1-4. Zone 5 has a couple minutes per session.
i'm 6'3" 200lbs. I'm an intermediate player and currently play in basic Ascis. After watching this, I'm hoping that Thunder is the shoe for me...thank you
Reaaly love that finally find your channel, i like to watch shoes review, and yours are great.. Just one thing, maybe next time you can say padding instead of ankle cushion or toe cushion.. Because as far as i know, cushion belongs more to midsole.. But, i do really enjoy your video, thanks
Hey nice video. Can you please tell me about its durability? I am thinking to buy but usually my badminton shoes torn in 2 months of normal usage.
please show your narrow feet.. I just want to see.. how much narrow feet your have blessed. ❤
Man I just love your video keep making video and can you plzz make some vlog 😊 love from India
I bought the 88d game but the balance is at 334mm which is excessive. How about yours ? I emailed yonex and they have not responded.
Hi, I restarted playing badminton after nearly 30 years. I have these rackets: 88 Play Gen3, 77 Pro, Nanoflare 1000 Tour, and 11 Play. The 77 Pro is the best, but I mostly play with the 11 Play to avoid clashing damage😂. The Nanoflare, as you said, requires good technique, not for me.
Your doing good man
I just moved over to the arc7 tour from the 11 play. Found the 11 play too head heavy due to poor quality control. It had the same head weight as a 88d! Arc7 is perfect because you can concentrate on your technique while the racket does what is asked of it.
Hi, first of all, your content is amazing!!! I'm currently using a Lining Saga 2 SE, the cushion on this shoes is amazing. I'm thinking of buying a secondary shoes, it can be from either Yonex or Lining and I want the shoes to be as much cushion as possible, I'm thinking of the eclipsion z3 or the Comfort Z, do you have any other recommendation? I'm a big player and my size is 285-290
Thanks for the kind words. If you're looking for comfort, skip the comfort z and consider lining's thunder pro. the eclipsion is great but be mindful if you have narrow feet
I play with Arcsaber 7 series, Astrox 100 Game, & recently Nanoflare 1000 Play. Astrox 100 Game is the heaviest & get too tired during the session. Nanoflare 1000 Play produces more power than the Arcsaber 7. But I feel quicker using the Arcsaber 7. The Arcsaber 7 Play strung at 24 lbs feels wobbly, which means you can feel vibration when hitting the shuttlecock. Get the Tour or Pro!
so by conclusion, which is the best for smashes nanoflare 1000 game or the astrox 100 game
The astrox 100 game - if by 'best' you're referring to help with generating power
Please review the Babolat Shadow Tour 5 shoe next Aske. Babolat is huge in tennis and pickleball but not as much in badminton so I think it would be interesting to see whether if their badminton shoe or equipment is as good as other brands. Besides, there isn't any good reviews about them either.
did u buy it from VietNam? cuz I saw the similar fake-anti logo to mine too
So cool men you can give me that
Very informative videos Keep going Expecting more videos from you
Hi, I had a doubt if you add the astrox 100 game to the list then what would be your preference??
I sometimes play with my Astrox 100 Game. I get too tired during the session. My smashes are powerful but fatigue is a concern. I prefer Arcsaber 7 series.
The astrox 100 game is very head heavy and full of power so doesn't directly compare with these (i.e. for doubles it isn't as easy to defend with as the even balanced rackets in this video)
Oh yes, I have been waiting for this video. Thank you Aske 😅
I watched ur video about Sage 2 SE before buy. Now around 1 month I've been using Sage 2 SE. My previous shoes is Eclipsion Z3( 1year+). For my personal comparison, I've found that Sage 2 SE is better & feels lighter than Eclipsion Z3. Better in terms of weight & support. After this, my next shoes I would maintain Li-ning brands 😂👍
doew is fit for wide feet?
Haha kinda similar for me but the downside of lining I think is the durability of the outsole, it thins out pretty quickly in my case
Can you review the astrox nextage
I have narrow feet and only 240 mm long. It's been very hard finding the right pair. 😢
Can you suggest me wide shoes.
You think mirage pro better or victor nitrolite?
Greatly informative. And in English? I am in. Keep up the good work, brother.
I HAVE 700 GAME AND 1000 GAME. 1000 MY favorite. I wanna buy 1000zz what do u think
My fav raket
Lovely Video 👌👍 Kindly, Review Hundred company badminton shoes and Rackets. If they are available in your country!
I am not sure why people would choose the comfort z3 over the eclipsion z3
800 Game much cheaper than 800tour what difference?
Hii, Can you suggest me a good shoe for wide feet?
Nice honest review ❤ Keep it up
the one thing i like about 88s game is that it's power did not compromise it's maneuverability. I would say it's an all-in-one racket for me
