To be honest CK as a badminton lover in Malaysia it’s very hard to find any good informative videos on badminton equipment you are the only channel I have found that goes into such detail when reviewing the products. Good job and keep up the good work 👍
Hey CK, I really love your videos especially these reviews. Would love to see reviews of Li Ning or comparisons between Yonex and Li Ning rackets and shoes if possible. Keep em coming (Y)
Great and informative channel - thanks! I am looking to switch from Adidas (have long used the Stabil series, regular width fits my slightly wide foot fine, but they don't seem to offer a real indoor shoe anymore). Can you say a bit about the width of Yonex shoes? Are they considered 'narrow fitting'? The regular width looks wide enough but its hard to tell. Are models like the "65Z wide" actually wide or more like a regular width?
I legit got these shoes less than 10 hours ago before this review come up… This is my first badminton shoes and while I’m happy with my purchase, I wished this video was available 😅. So hard to find a review for this specific shoe. On the bright side, the gray/pale green color is a beauty!
Hello CK, would you mind helping me pick between these shoes? I was looking at the Eclipsion X, Aerus X, 65X3 and these Cascade Drives. I am an intermediate player who uses an attacking style of play. I have used the Power Cushion 50, but I will return them due to a fault in one of the shoes. Would you know how each of these shoes compare to the Power Cushion 50? If not, how do these shoes compare to each other in terms of durability, feel, padding and stiffness? Thank you!
@@CKYew Okay, I've had a look at the prices and for the discounts I can get I see that the Aerus and Eclipsion X models are not worth buying as the Z models are barely more expensive. However, I can get the 65X3 for 1/3 the price of the 65Z3. I don't want to spend a huge amount, and the any of the Z models (they're roughly similar in price) would push my budget. How do the Cascade Drives compare to either of those?
Just ordered this because it was on sale on TikTok shop and the price was RM199 compared to the original price RM350 (NP RM600). The best deal I have this year 😂😂
Mizuno wave claw 2 > 65z3 I personally prefer the mizuno wave claw 2 then anything yonex makes for shoes . You should really try it CK , low clearance, super duper grippy, super snug fit like your not wearing shoes at all!!! , it’s truely amazing shoes they have a higer model called wave fang pro as well … Anyone else have mizuno Wave claw 2 ??
I have the previous wave claw, really love the performance of that shoes, right now I'm using the 65z3 wide because the cushion is more softer on my heels. But still gonna use that wave claw!! It's just too good!! The only downside is the cushion on the heels is a lot firmer than yonex power cushion+

Thanks for the help in advance.
coming from aerus 3 that i have been using for the last 4 years, this shoe is good but a tad bit narrower than the aerus 3. i need quite significantly longer time to break in, but otherwise it is comfortable and works as it should be. as for weight, when it is in my feet, i cant really tell the different.
@@CKYew a little update, I decided to ditch my power cascade after 2-3 months and finally decided to buy the Aerus Z to replace my Aerus 3. Although I got the same size as my Aerus 3, for some reason it was getting uncomfortable to wear after 2-3 matches every time I use it and I always end up using my Aerus 3 for the remainder of my time whenever I am playing. I think it's because it is narrower than the Aerus. So for you guys who have wider feet, please beware of this limitation!
Yew which is the best in terms of cushioning. I get pain in my heels after 2 hour game. I use Power cushion 37 with insoles. For a two hour game and my age it seems inadequate. I am planning on buying good shoes which protect my feet.
