Jerry Cantrell is just one of the most down to earth, humble and kind rockstars we have . The music he made with the band back in the day and now will forever have an enormously deep emotional impact on lovers of good music. Grunge never died… Jerry is still alive

I have changed a lot throughout my life but AIC has always been in my top 5 bands of all time.
My Momma introduced me to Alice In Chains when I was very young. She uses music to convey her emotions. Their lyrics makes us feel like we found a secret language to speak to each other. I will forever feel respect and immense love for this band of brothers.
If Cantrell isn't on your top list of guitarists....he should be. Every time I hear a song from them it brings me back to where I was when it came out. Listening as i'm older now you gain an even better appreciation for it too. 🔥
AiC will always mean a lot to me. Jerry is amazing. His solo work and everything he did in AiC with Layne was incredible. Life is complicated and Layne would love to have heard the way Jerry kept the band alive after the hiatus.

Yes it means the world to have extremely deep songs that you can relate to and not only that to be able to view Jerry and Layne's work over the years. There's no misses with them.
Jerry, you are Soo under-rated for one of the most talented musicians on the planet!!! Don't ever question if fans are still into your music! Alice In Chains is still # 1, Soo many years later!!! NOBODY will ever beat the perfect Melody of you & Layne!!! Appreciate you moving forward after Layne's death. Hopefully, he has re-connected with Demri ! 'Chemical Addiction' was the song that got their sound. I like that Will has transformed the sound just a bit but can still keep it AIC.

Jerry Cantrell is the man for me. He just doesn't know it yet....love this guy and Alice in Chains will forever be the pinnacle of great majestic and raw music that changed a generation for the better and continues to do so.🌟 💛🎸💛🌟

Your songs are touching, meaningful, and eternal, as are all songs from the greats. More than "something." And true a sound created by a unique vortex of heavy to give voice to stone cold rhythm and melodies, incredible songwriting. Rock on!

Hearing "WOULD" for the first time was up there, with Eddie playing Eruption for the first time. It was a sound I never heard before and it made my hair stand on end. In fact it still does,

I’d say as soon as Jerry Cantrell opened his mouth and starting singing that was their sound. As awesome a guitar player he is, his vocal harmonies set AIC apart from the rest. So humble but absolutely at the top of the ‘grunge’ food chain.
I know it's only one song in the AIC catalog and that it gets mentioned a lot as a favorite, but I gotta say - I'm a vet and I work with veterans for a living as well. 75% of the vets I serve are Vietnam vets. "Rooster" puts a lump in my throat EVERY time I hear it. Especially the youtube video with the intro. / interview. AIC / Jerry - you absolutely define music as the emotional experience that it should be. Thank you for the story about your father as well as every other song that you've written.
I'm still a fan of bands(like korn,disturbed,godsmack) that are still making music but many haven't kept their sound at that level that made them so awesome. Alice in Chains and Jerry though, are still making music at that same level that made them so great.

❤ last night was the final stop on the tour in our mutual hometown of Tacoma, Washington. The love in the crowd was magnificent to behold, and Jerry’s respect for his fans was very very evident. He’s a nice person, and I had the honor to meet him❤️ it was a wonderful show. The mix was awesome and the event was heartfelt and quality. thank you Jerry Cantrell you’re a wonderful genuine person maybe next time I’ll get my photo taken lol❤

Alice in Chains is for me , the best band of my lifetime , and i think i have pretty good taste .NOBODY has come close to the family Jerry speaks of and the tragedy he and Sean have had to face. And STILL, no band comes close . How many bands with unique frontmen manage to thrive without them … Zero ! It is as it shall be . Layne said so 🫶 Love you forever AIC and JC

Finally got to see Jerry in March. After COVID and all the other ridiculousness of the past few years, that was the most soul-soothing experience of my life. Can't imagine how the Alice show in August is going feel. Jerry and Alice are one in a million, accept no substitutes!

As for ALICE AND CHAINS ⛓️ I never really thought that they were a grudge band but just a badass heavy rock band I will always love this band they have there own sound like no one else had they sound very original I haven't heard anyone sound like these guys that's what is so special about them guys keep making music your music is very inspiring

What needs to be clarified when Jerry said" It was a sound unlike anyone else" meaning it was a sound unlike anyone else back then or ever will sound like.
I'm convinced the powers that be have Layne fronting their own super group with Hendrix on lead, Entwhistle on bass and Bonham on skins. Holy fuck that would be an amazing lineup check me the fuck out I want to go check that out!
