    Let me know your thoughts about the Hooga Pro 300 vs the Hooga 300 comparison. Both are great options and have many similarities such as emitting 660nm and 850nm light and low EMF levels. The Hooga HG300 Pro has a stand, modular capability, dual-chip LEDs and other small differences, for instance. However, the Hooga HG300 offers more value overall and is the best option if you're short on cash

    Thanks Alex for this comparison. After watching a lot of your videos, I went for the Hooga HG300 Pro last month and I love everything about it. For me, the upgrades you mention are worth the higher price. However my friend who is just beginning his RLT journey decided to go with the Hooga HG300 after I sent him your video, which will work for his needs. Love your reviews because they give all the info needed to make an informed decision.

    Amazed at how you answer all your subscriber messages, you're awesome! I'm currently tossing up between these models and the price difference is huge (I'm in Australia).. Things like stands and noise etc don't bother me as long as I still get the results (even if I have to be exposed for 10 minutes instead of just 5 or something). Bottom line, do you think it's possible to achieve the same results skin-wise using both panels? Thank you in advance!

      Yes - both of these panels are going to work - there aren't issues on that front. Also - have you checked out my shopping tool - products.lighttherapyinsiders.com/ - there are a few Aussie based RLT companies now :)

    Hello Alex, 😊 new to Led light therapy. Just subscribed to your channels last night. Thank you for the comparison videos as they are really useful. Just wondering which one would you recommend out of Hooga pro or mito pro? I understand that one has two light frequencies and the other has four? How are those extra two light frequencies beneficial? I am interested for the purpose of anti ageing, pigmentation etc. Mito has 630nm that the other doesn't but mito is single chip whereas hooga is double, which I am assuming it means it's twice as powerful? Any recommendations or comments on which might be a better option? Thank you again

    • @AlexFergusdotcom
      @AlexFergusdotcom  Год назад +1

      Hey welcome to the channel and thanks for the sub. It's nice knowing people find value in my content, so I'll keep creating more :)
      Ahhh that is a good comparison. I may look at doing the head to head. Check out this video as well - ruclips.net/video/SoiMO7LgteU/видео.html it just went live.
      I would probably go with the MitoRed light because of the better controls. Plus you do get more exposure to other wavelengths.
      Double vs Single chip - doesn't necessarily mean more power. It just means you're getting better light coverage, but that's not an issue with the mitoRed lights anyway.
      I would probably go with the MitoRed - but again check out that video on the Hooga Pro :)

    My hooga hg200 just came in. It’s styled like the pro model. I assume it’s the same bulbs with slightly less power. Still seems very powerful. Now just need to find a way to make a stand that has hight and angle adjustments. Your videos helped me choose it. Would love to see a video where you compare that one value wise with the the ones above. If I love the results the Next purchase will likely be the biomax 900.

      It's actually just as powerful as the pro 300 because it has about the same irradiance. Wattage just means how much power it uses and the 300 has more LEDs so it uses more wattage. You're basically getting the same power output just a smaller treatment area, with the timer as an added bonus.

    Thanks for all your help on RLT! I have a question about the Hogga Panels. The HG200W has only 40 LEDs - 200W with the irradiance at 6” of 100 mW. And the HG300 has 60 LEDs - 300W but the irradiance is 73mW. Should I get the one with more W or the one with the best irradiance? I need for my face, redness, eczema etc. I hope you could help me, obviously I have a VERY POOR knowledge on this topic.

    • @AlexFergusdotcom
      @AlexFergusdotcom  2 месяца назад

      Hi, Not sure if you have purchased, yet. The method most comapnies use to measure irradiance is not acurate. Between these two panels I would go with the Pro. Please join my Facebook group, there are memebers in their that have either of these panels and can give you their thougts.facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders

    I must admit that I'm finding shopping for a red light device quite confusing. I suffer from peripheral neuropathy, primarily in my feet but a bit now in my hands, as well. I've been recommended to use 10,000mw of red light (660 and 810 wavelengths) three times a day for one minute on each foot (as well as to the back of the knee). I think I need a hand held version to be able to cover both the front and backs of my feet, but I'm sensing that I need a plug in hand-held device rather than a battery-powered device as the power output of the battery devices don't seem to get to the recommended dosage in a reasonable amount of time. But I'm finding it very hard to decipher what devices offer 10,000mw, and was hoping you might help. I am willing to increase the time I use the device (e.g. if it is 5,000mw, I understand that I should use it two minutes per foot rather than one). Any thoughts?

    What do you think of these two articles discussing 3w vs 5w led's?
    ""MYTH BUSTED: SETTLING THE 3-WATT VS 5-WATT LED DEBATE"
    "MEDICAL-GRADE RED LIGHT THERAPY DEVICES: A COMPLETE GUIDE"
    ""Some companies also claim that their panels use dual-chip LED bulbs. On the surface, this looks like higher light output, but again, it is a false claim. No medical-grade LED devices contain dual-chip bulbs.
    There are dual-chip LED bulbs that are the same size as the single-chip 3w bulbs used in LED light therapy devices; however, they use two 1.5w chips side by side. Dual-chip bulbs do not deliver more light energy output because they are still only 3w."
