    Well I ordered the biomax 300 and wanted to thank you for all you do. I was one of those people who got pulled in to buy a $9000 perfectio X red light therapy hand unit by Zero Gravity. There is no real firm data on its effectiveness. However, I have to say that I was scheduled to have hand surgery on a trigger finger and decided to use my unit on my hand and surprise. I don't have a trigger finger any longer.

    halogen lamp with 1000w cost 15$ emit all wavelengths (like the sun) why no use that?

    So what is the advantage of LED against filament bulbs and filament infrared heaters?

    • @mindelicious
      @mindelicious 9 месяцев назад +5

      As I know (might be wrong tho) LED is not heating, so you can bring them super close to seven to penetrate better. Bulb lamps can heat, so they are more used in red saunas. But again, I might be wrong on that

      @@evocati6523 The sun is all wavelength.
      We used to think UV for vit-D was the only important part, then we discover that near infrared is important, then red.
      I think to be close to the spectrum of the sun is the more natural and logical way to go.
      If the bulbs happen to be cheap and widely available then the better.
      Quite possible than led with a very specific spectrum is more efficient in results per watt of power.

    From what i learned 3 minutes is as good as 20 minutes.
    Also when one area of the body is exposed to red light mitochondria communicate with each other in other parts of the body to respond to the red light..
    In experiments the effects of red light last about 5 days. So one to two days a week max is all you need.
    There is a professor on you tube(Glen Jeffries) that has studied this...

    Hello
    A lot of information for a newcomer now I have used red light therapy. I used it for neuropathy. I use it for my back. I use it for shoulder pain and I do have red light facial massages. The one thing that no one ever talks about is when you use it on your face, it makes the hair grow quicker if you got a woman who’s tendency to have That mix of culture you can get a mustache and you can get hairs on your chin and I think that’s funny. No one‘s ever talked about that and I also have red light to make my hair grow on my head so those are the things that’s the knowledge I have and I’ve used it for skin care and paint but I want to get a larger model and of course, like everybody else budget wise Energy wise that’s what I wanna know how it uses energy and maybe something that I can use for multiple uses my handheld red light survive for years but the rectangle panel that I had I had to throw out because as much as I tried to get it to work it just went out on me, so I’m looking for something that will last over a year my hand held devices. I’ve had some of them for five years or more And that surprises me but I generally take care of my things but I think it’s the manufacturer as well quality items that they make so with that being said I need suggestions I’m on the east coast of the US I’m a 73-year-old senior who looks like she’s in her late 40s early 50s I’m not kidding about that. The red light does help infuse energy and has given me a lot of help, but now that this one’s blown out I want to get a nice decent moderately price and I’m not talking about in the high hundreds. I’m talking about something I can afford if there’s a code if there’s a sale if they resell items that are sent back I’m a candidate for that as long as the warranty works, thank you for your informative information. There’s a lot of information and I’ve saved a lot of it from RUclips and the interviews that I’ve seen I’ve known about red light for decades because it was used for therapy. And I got my own handheld therapy lights and it was three different modes, light, medium or high.
    So with that being said, if there’s anyway you can give me some information because I have an infrared therapy envelope it’s not a blanket it’s something you climb into and they only give about 20 or 30% of infrared so it’s it’s basically very light level so I’m looking for something that I can use on my feet that I can use on my shoulder and to tell you the truth I don’t have back problems because I’ve done fascia work and now with my wonderful panel that blew that blew out on me. I need to get a new one but I want something with more legitimacy of knowledge behind it. Mine cost it was on sale for $99 and it was 159 and it was a wraparound rectangle, but not very long and it had blue had two speeds not just one or what they call speed
    Thank you very much for being very informative being knowledgeable and I will thank you ahead of time for your answer to me. My emails should be on my account and you can look that up. I’m scared to give it online because I’ve had hackers come after me so tell me what to do and how to do it or how to contact you if I have to repeat this. Have a lovely lovely morning day afternoon evening or whenever you get to read this , enjoy 2024 and be blessed and let’s be thankful for everything we have

You can use the lamp in 3 modes, RED + NIR, NIR or RED only and it is not clear which mode is on - whether the RED and NIR are on together or not. It's a guessing game...expensive fun and an absolute failure. You can never know which light you're sitting in front of....it's a waste of money and time! In addition, the lamp didn't work at all the first time it was switched on, so it was impossible to tell which mode the lamp was in the next time it was switched on. Thanks for that.

    Hi alex, started my curiosity about red light therapy. been watching ur vids and let me tell u, all of your vids were really very informative. I know based on your studies platinum led is so far number one. I have two questions: 1. how important is irradiance that its must be 100w/cm2 ? 2nd have u had a review for mychondria led?
    Thanks.

      Irradiance - it's important to a point, but more is not always better.

    Hi Alex Fergus, I would appreciate your expert advice on purchasing a high quality full body RLT or Multi panel for my Mum with Altzeimer's and mobility issues (joint/muscle pains). Looking for a RLT panel with the highest 810nm along with the highest medical/FDA class 2 wavelengths that promote bone/muscle/skin rejuvenation/healing. Watched alot of your reviews and still stumped on which to purchase. Panel size required atleast 180cm in height and 45cm wide. Located in Australia, budget of AUD$6k including a horizontal stand. Can increase budget for the right RLT panel.

      Hey. For Alzheimers - check out Vielight - www.alexfergus.com/blog/does-vielight-work-vielight-science
      Also - check out my interview with Dr Randy Beck (due out this week).
      For joint pain - ok yes something with 810nm would be good.
      You could check out Infraredi, or Block Blue Light (my review is out in a few days). They are both based in Australia and discount code ALEX will work with them.
      Actually - consider the Rojo 3000 - they are also in Aussie. Two of them would be perfect. It might be slightly over your $6k budget - but I think discount code ALEX will save 5% or maybe more and bring it down into your price range. I have reviewed the 3000 here - ruclips.net/video/1slJcRMbeiI/видео.html

      @@LightTherapyInsiders Really appreciate your response Alex, unfortunately Mum gets anxious with anything related to touching her head, which rules out the Vielight, therefore I'm hoping a RLT panel will benefit. Need to get the best RLT solution that will help her. Will consider your recommendations but as Black Friday is around the corner, I'll wait until then before purchase, fingers crossed one of your upcoming reviews will inform of any new panels that would be more beneficial. ps Hope your visit to Perth (my hometown) helped your son. Hi, Justine!
      I’m looking into RLT for the same purposes, and honestly, if it’s in your budget and you plan to continue RLT long term (I definitely would!), I feel it would be worth it to invest in a full-body unit.
      My rationale is that the beautifying/rejeuvenating effects of RLT can be quite dramatic, so I want to avoid having specific areas that look more youthful and radiant that are in stark contrast to the more aged-looking areas that haven’t received regular treatment.
      Not to mention, the additional benefits of RLT are amazing, so why not get those results from head to toe?
      Good luck on your search, and here’s to great results and overall better health!

    Hey Alex! Great video! Curious to know if your buying recommendation would change as it relates to a commercial setting? I have 8 Platinum BioMax900's (4 on each side of the body) in my boutique fitness studio (which replaced the constantly malfunctioning Joovv panels purchased several years back) and a member recently asked me if the TheraLight 360 was substantially better than our Platinums and I didn't know what to say. The criteria in this video is awesome when thinking about a home light purchase, but curious to know your view on my 8 Platinum BioMax 900's which cost me ~$10,000 USD versus a commercial bed like TheraLight 360 or Novathor which run many multiples higher in cost. Any feedback would be appreciated!

    • @jasondebruler
      @jasondebruler Год назад +1

      @alex, just following up. Would love to hear what you think. I also dove a little deeper and it seems the BioMax panels are actually superior in one of the most important factors--Irridiance. TheraLight touts 120 nW/cm2 while a BioMax600 is capable of 185 at 6 inches and 160 at 12 inches. I'm struggling to understand what makes the highest cost beds 10x the price when it doesn't seem like they are even as good as the Platinums.

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  Год назад +1

      Hey! In all honesty I have never used a bed - so i can't really comment on them, nor have I used a Theralight.
      However - I dont' see any reason why a BioMax panel wouldn't be suitable for a commercial setup. The beds just offer an all in one package and can be used when laying down. Which may be an advantage for some people.
      If you spent $10k on a Biomax setup, I wouldn't go out and change everything.
      Also - Mito Red Light have just launched a commercial arm to their business, you can see that here - prorlt.com/

    Great video, Alex! Have you tested the Mitolight brand? I have bought the smaller panels with MitoRed and love them, I now live in Europe, and this new brand, MitoLight popped up; they are not the same brand. Do you know if one is better than the other?
    Looking forward to your insights.
    Thanks again Alex!

      Hey! I haven't no, but I am going to be reviewing one pretty soon. Their products look good on paper. There are a couple of companies based in the EU (CytoLED, LuminousRed etc) I have a reviewed a few of these and actually have a video coming out comparing all the European options :)

      @lilluu7 Год назад

      @@LightTherapyInsidersthat would be great! Very interested in the EU (continental) options as well. Because as good as the USA options are when you have to add shipping+taxes, perhaps better get a larger panel with similiar specs from an EU based company 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Hi Alex. I am interested in purchasing the Infraredi Mini bit am conflicted between the Flex and the Pro. The Pro does not have the 810 wavelength but has a remote. Am mainly interested in skin improvement and arthritis. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks..Diane

      @@joanneroundhill1796 Hello. Yes I have purchased RLT Home devise. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it is too early to tell with any results. The machine itself is very sturdy and easy to use with set programs and voice command. I would definitely recommend it.

    Hi Alex, i noticed on your blog that you are going to do a feature on dental health, will that be published any time soon?
    I've tried the Primal Life Organics light, which you insert into the mouth, but that just gives me a jaw ache after a minute or so...
    Also, i've been looking at the McLaren Photonic Torch, which looks like a good fit for improving dental health in a convenient & comfortable way... Do you have any experience with this device..?

      @LightTherapyInsiders  Год назад +1

      Hey, I haven't got around to that but we will cover it on our new site (launching very soon!)
      I haven't heard of those other devices, I'm going to check them out. Sorry I don't have more insight in regards to dental treatment. I can say though that I have noticed massive dental health improvements just by using my panel. Check this out - ruclips.net/video/M6HrEJALT18/видео.html

      I have the older model Primal Life red/blue led light dental device. It’s lightweight as it just has the dongles that plug into your phone for power. Call and ask if they can send you one of those instead?

    Hi Alex! I’m new to all of your videos but I find them to seem very credible. As I watch your buyer’s guide info, I’m completely overwhelmed with choices. Is there any chance you can recommend the best quality option for me for a small (mini?) panel to simply work on anti-aging and maybe targeting areas, but under $300.? I realize that’s very low end, but that is around where I wish to start before I delve further into this technology.

    I am just starting out with Red light Therapy and ordered a biomax 600 with a horizontal stand in addition to a face led shield from SWIRISE. My question is what I can order for a targeted area?

      I recommend you wait till you get these devices. The Biomax might be enough. I like this device:ruclips.net/video/0hzyu1dNtf0/видео.htmlsi=qosSxAAPQNGasyjm
